Question about manaphy eggs

Make a giveaway with manaphy eggs?

I discovered I can use my AR to get manaphy eggs. Could i make a giveaway with manaphy eggs? OR does smogon not allow this? Or would people not care for eggs since ivs are random?

tnx for answers and i don't think this is a simple question hence not going to that thread.
 
I guess it should, but its a question not an actual giveaway... if it does belong in wifi section could a mod move it,plz.
 
You would have to say it was "semi-legit". semi-legit implys the method In witch you obtained it was used with a cheating device, but the resulting poke is reconised by the game as perfectly legal.

I'm not sure that a hacked Manaphy egg is "semi" legit. It's worse than hacking the parents.

you do realise how you recieve the egg correct?

you walk into any pokemart with the manaphy event triggered and recieve an egg from a man in a green coat that always hands you mystery gift stuff, your not hacking this egg.

jujuomi, People on smogon would want them due to there general scarceness, despite them being only semi-legit.

Due to the general lack of a good manaphhy on smogon I would have to say yes.

BUT you would have to specify that it was semi-legit for people asking how you got it.

Honestly though, this belongs more in the wifi forum.
 
Well, when giving away things, of course i'd forewarn the others of its legitmacy to not only prevent getting blacklisted but to prevent flaming.
 
So... you are pretty much asking... "Hey guys, i got an AR want me to hack some manaphys and give them away so everyone can have some hax"

No that's not what he/she is saying, he/she is going to trigger the event, the pokémon itself will be generated in a completely legit way.(this means IV and HEX-signature wise)
 
Have you guys ever heard of the word "semi-legit"? Yes, the obtaining way may be illegit, but the Manaphy that hatches from it has legit stats. As long as the Pokemon itself isn't hacked, I would appeciate it.
 
Don't do it. I know your good intention but why not hatch the egg and give the manaphy away(it has to have good IVs and the desired nature for anyone to want it)
 
yeah, please don't do it because anyone with an AR could do this and if the mods allowed this, then other people with might wanna do the same thing

And whats the problem if they do?

Somebody said that my intentions are right, and they are. If people think its bad then i won't do it. Some people might even want it? I don't know. People accept semi-legit darkrais and arcues why not semi-legit manaphy?


IV's NOR MOVESET WILL BE ALTERED IN ANYWAY!

Yeah, I'm sorry, but things like Arceus and Shaymin are still hacked because there's no way yet to get them in the game without hacking the events and I highly doubt anyone can prove whether or not it came from the Japanese edition glitch.

Can you get a dictionary out and show me where semi-legit is possible? Being semi-legit is like being semi-pregnant or semi-dead. It's an on/off state of existence.
