NOC Mayor Mafia - Democracy Prevails

Kill list should be this imo:

Metal Sonic
Whydon
MoodyCloud
Bluedoom
Fenrir Aesir
DS

I’m not sure where duskfall should fit into that tbh
I think we take out celeb slot first then do villy slot.

I'm okay with either MS -> Dusk or Dusk -> MS, though I'm p sure MS just hasn't checked/read the thread and isn't actively avoiding it.

Assuming mafia go for Sultan tonight, and we go by Sam's list we win as long as Fen / DS. / Sam are clean

Day 2: We lynch MS, but he flips celeb. (8 town, 2 scum)
Night 2: Mafia kill Sultan, Vigi kills Dusk (7 town, 1 scum)
Day 3: We lynch Whydon, flip vt (6 town, 1 scum)
Night 3: Mafia kill me or apricity assuming apricity bgs wrong (5 town, 1 scum)
Day 4: We lynch Moody, flip vt (4 town, 1 scum)
Night 4: Mafia kill me or apricity bc he guessed wrong the previous night (3 town, 1 scum)
Day 5: nv@4 is probably a bad idea because of vote redirection if that mafia is still alive. Redirector would just kill sam and then steal somebody's vote to win. We have to lynch bluedoom and if he flips town we lose.

If its dictator left at Day 5 we should do nv@4
Night 5: Everybody should vote for theirself bc if we choose a candidate mafia kill them and get mayored themself. Sam dies at this point (2 town, 1 scum). IDK if ties show up in the morning, if they do townies just self vote and reveal themselves to win. If not we have to get one lynch right.

Day 2: we lynch MS and he's citty (8v2) dusk/sam/me/apricity/sultan are clean
Night 2: Mafia kill Sultan, whydon gets vigi'd (6v2) dusk/sam/me/apricity clean
Day 3: We lynch Moody flip vt (5v2) dusk/sam/me/apricity clean
Night 3: me or apricity get killed by mafia (4v2) dusk/sam/me or apricity clean
Day 4: At this point we have to vote because of redirection, otherwise we get a vote stolen and lose. If bluedoom flips town we lose here.

We get the same amount of allowed mistakes in both situation.

So after actually doing the math, unless apricity can revise my plan to make it foolproof, I don't think we sit on our hands rn. Because at this point, if MS flips celeb we have to identify at least one celeb to trust and two townies to trust, and if MS flips townie we have to identify two townies to trust.

Also why is the lynch Dusk > Samoyed if MS flips celeb?

Is there game reasons for this other than Dusk pushing the two power roles?
I don't think pushing us is why I think he's the most likely mafia slot. He's the most likely mafia out of them 7 ambiguous slots in my eyes, because he said I was confirmed scum with nothing to justify anything beyond him having me as a strong scum read. Saying that he solved the game, and labeling me and hal as confirmed scum the way he did is, if not ridiculously scummy, horrible town play for DuskFall.

His more recent posts almost convince me that he might be town, so idk, but thats why I still put him before Sam in lynch/vigi order. Sam is pretty towny compared to Dusk/MS

correction; if MS claims citty we only need to trust one townie.

lol, so how is that not him pushing you and hal being the reason for you scumreading him?

You basically just contradicted yourself?

Id say that his reaction to the claim ask was very bad, though everything else has been rather good. He seemed positively certain that no one would counterclaim his celeb status.

or I guess you are saying that its not that he was pushing you, but rather the lack of reasoning behind his push.

Either way - the push is the focus there.

The distinction is saying I'm confirmed scum when he had no reason to say I'm anything other than probably scum or likely scum or something like that. I understand why he might think my play is scummy, but he had no reason to say I'm confirmed scum unless he had mechanically confirmed that i was scum.

After I flipped town though, which DF would have known if he were scum he would be the next vigi kill almost certainly.... so I don't see why making such an aggressive push right there is smart. So there are three potential options that I can identify.

1. DF felt desperate enough to go for a push, even if it cost him his life because he either didn't see another way to win or wanted to take attention away from his partner.
2. DF went for it because he was confident he could get himself out of being vigikilled/lynched with good acting.
3. DF was town and actually just misread the situation really badly and reacted to claiming badly, but he actually thought that me / hal were scum.
