Hi, can we dial back the shitposting just a little bit? I know the context of threads like this is generally accepting of them, but posts with literally just one word or a blown up meme or emoji that takes up the entire screen is a bit much-

You could just post that kind of stuff in discord rather than having to bring it here. There's obviously some flexibility to be had with relelvant memes and such, but things that blatantly don't contribute anything have no place here. If you really need to farm likes so bad, you can put some actual effort into your posts.

Can you guys leave my name out of this shit, thanks. The last game of the series my dnite got frozen when I have won :/. Anyways, if you guys chilled instead of doing the shit above, 1v1 as a tier wouldn't be shit on by other ones. 1v1wc last year was a toxic waste dump namely because of tours discord that we had where there was many many attacks against me with my sexuality, gender and it led the the post in finals where I just blew up. I would never ever want another person in any 1v1 tour to go though what I had to, and we as people should hold ourselves to higher standards. I get shitposting / attacking people is fun, but most of the time it isnt for the other person. You have to remember there is a person on the other side of the screen, that is human just like you, and you should treat them how you would want to be treated. We are here to play a game at a competitive level, and we should take a look at other tiers pls and wcs threads to see where 1v1 can improve on with our posting and meme habits. If you want likes, then make a meaningful post about 1v1wc, some respoectful meme about a player etc., we should not be making memes such as the following player is winless, thats just rude and disrespectful.

Anyways, lets have fun this 1v1wc, I cannot wait to see some DPP / ORAS matches on one of the highest stage of competitiveness for 1v1, and wanna see some underdogs make it to the next stage from the pool stage. I am really hoping to have a better experience this year so I can enjoy my games without some type personal attack on me. Lets finally win this year East!

Top 4 People probably in the ORAS Pool:

1. Whaleeeee
Amazing ORAS performance this PL. I personally see them playing over DEG since he can be slotted in current-gen and still give support. Obviously has the Ursurang Clout Points++++ so thats why I have them over #2.

2. 187 Fan
Did great in oras cup and probably has the best oldgens building core to exist around them. Sadly they are only Ursurang Clout Points tier ++ so Bubbie has to take #1.

3. Kardistry King
Kardistry King had a really nice showing in Classic and I just generally expect the same thing this time, though Kard -dom is a ???.

4. OM
Good showing in PL, I can see them going positive on what is known as CONE.
I'd do more but legit idk who is going to ORAS on the rest of the teams LOL. As always thanks for reading and have a nice day.

>Putting effort in your posts

Are you tired of personal bias getting into team rankings and making them bad?
Are you tired of sad of seeing your team unjustly judged on a ranking?
Are you tired of people shitting on east

Here's a (mostly) 100% statistical 1v1 WCUP Team Rankings!

WARNING:
The following tier list is not based on player's expertise in their specific slot, it is based on the player's overall results and skill in tourneys.

I'm stealing stableprince569 's player roster, because i have no idea who is on which team and who plays what and I'm too lazy to check the signup posts

A player's individual Win Score in team tournaments (On this sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q0L6cn9CrvVX-J3_-kecYK1Z7KCDwmgCTqEhidYEaNI/edit#gid=0 ) is multiplied by their win percentage, which will be rounded up to a 100th.
For players that have below 15 games played in team tours OR less than 5 games won, a score from 1-5 will be added to how good I personally think they are in the tier based on how well they've done in official tours (Some really good players have like, 5 games played in tours, so this gives them a bit of leeway.)
Additionally, 1 extra point will be awarded for every time the player's team has won a teamtour (while they were in it) and 2 extra points will be awarded if they have won an individual tournament (Seasonals/LT's/Classic)
