    Isn't trade onix enough for Scyther? Base 70 speed and rock throw should manage to get you through and you can bring against zubats

    I'm so sorry that I can't give ou my full response to this; apparently there's a 420 character cap on replies and mine was WAY too long. While I appreciate and have looked into Rocky, the 80 accuracy on Rock Throw is unviable, and Scyther still has Quick Attack anyway. Timid Gastly is required for QA blocking and Hypnosis, though I need a solution to the Hypnosis accuracy.

    Continued: Hypnosis accuracy checks are my primary concern by a long shot at the moment. 60 is obviously unacceptable, and 66 with Wide Lens isn't much better. (Rock Throw only has 88 with Lens as well.) Just one miss can cause us to take damage and fail the challenge automatically. Wide Lens can only truly cover 95 accuracy moves, as 90 gets boosted to an embarrassing 99.

    Double Continued because I just had a great idea

    Maybe I don't even need Hypnosis for Scyther, TM Trading clause allows me to trade over TM24 Thunderbolt and I can use this...hmm...damage calculations...maybe...did I just find the final key to my challenge route? Holy crap, this is huge...

    (Why couldn't this work for Falkner?)

    I'm not sure about other people's answers to that, but from my own point of view, I actually love Totodile and its evolutions quite a lot. They're three of only very, very few Pokémon that have left a lasting impression on me, ever since I first played my second Pokémon game, Soulsilver, all the way back in who-knows-when. Not even my actual first Pokémon, being Chimchar, has had that much of an impact on me...

    *continued because apparently it wouldn't let me type more* It all started when I played all the way through SoulSilver up to Red on Mt. Silver, withe JUST my Feraligatr, and whatever else must have been on my team. I dont have a clue. Long story short, his Pikachu put an end to THAT. I did later beat Red on a friends cartridge about a year ago, and the nostalgia's been incredible ever since then.
