    you can legitimately take any concept AND still do your's. Look at Necturna, which could be countered by one thread OR the other. Look at liike, 90% of OU that can be beaten by one thing or another with the addition of one move. Case in point, HP Bug Keldeo back in BW

    I wouldn't keep dragging this out and acting like an annoying shit if I thought you actually understood the concept. For simplicities sake, imagine barbaracle with a much higher attack stat and something like crabhammer. It'd be a straight up nuke right? Well imagine giving it the option to forgo tough claws for something that doesnt boost its power like Hydration to be able to run fire fang to beat Ferro switchins or DDance to avoid being RKed and to possibly clean games. This revolves around the Ability of the mon, and its a very distinct choice. Sorry for wasting your time if you still think it's shit but it appears to me that either I need to explain it better or you didn't read it.

    I'm not arguing this with you, I'm simply telling you, that we could do this with any possible concept. Look at Caw, which had two different abilities designed to have it set up on two entirely different sets of counters, look at Aurumoth which had three "good" abilities that changed up the sets it could run, or its playstyle, look at Stratagem, Colossoil, Krilowatt, Tomohawk. All these pokemon have their own separate concepts, and all of them can do exactly what you want.
