    Solution: right click on the image at imgur and click on copy image location. Use that instead of just the imgur link.

    Fixed both of those posts. Like the others said, the page that imgur sends you to is not the PRECISE url for the image, but instead the url to the page where the image is merely featured. You want the Direct URL, which you can get by clicking on the image or right-click it to copy the image url.
