  • Hi Jam! Kingdra is usually seen on Rain teams, but the underrated Focus Energy Sniper set is still godlike to use! EVed perfectly to survive a Banded Rillaboom Grassy Glide from full, it can set up on Slowbro/ Swampert/ etc., and hit almost everyone for massive damage!

Tapu Fini and Heatran trap Kingdra's main checks which are Blissey, Tapu Fini, and Ferrothorn; and proceed to chip them down until they die. The Sitrus Berry is to help Tapu Fini against Seismic Toss Blissey; and Body Press can be replaced with Stealth Rocks if you need them. Have fun!
https://pokepast.es/2c24f6513535d473 Just a strong Electric Sand Offense I built. Has Thunder Tyranitar as way to punish the flying/water types that give sand issues. Also Specs Aegislash to be a special wallbreaker to open up for the sand offense. Tried defensive mence from your previous vids and it worked well here. Hope you try out the team Jam.

Also one more thing. The team kind of has a tough time with grounds so it might best to wear the grounds down with Drill+Aegi. Drill is also Air Balloon to cover the ground weakness as well.
A Urshifu-Rapid Balance team with some specs Blacephalon spice plus theme.

In theory this team has answers to everything if played well and if you know the matchups. It struggles with specs pult but if you change specs to scarf on Blaceph then pult will be less of a problem. Feel free to make any changes that you want and I hope you enjoy the team :)

What's up Jam, been using this scolipede team lately after noticing the lack of current resists in the OU metagame as well as its great coverage. Might need some tweaking if ferrothorn is causing an issue, (it wasn't for me around 1800) which is why I feel confident leaving it in the hands of a consistent player.
ok so I looked at the current SS OU metagame and noticed the lack of ghost resists and physdef pivots as well as the prevalence of the ghost weak slowtwins. Banded Dhelmise is a mon that takes advantage of all these metagame trends as a niche antimeta novelty.

It is able to 2hko the entire OU and UU tier barring Buzzwole, and come in on mons like the slow twins and clef, which it threatens an OHKO on, with its excellent base 131 attack. 179 is a speed tier that outspeeds most defensive checks, but leaves a lot to be desired against offensive teams.

So, the team has an option for endgames vs offense: trick room slowking. It is not a trick room team, but trick room helps a lot for dhelmise to clean up, as it straight up OHKOs most offensive mons. This team performs fairly consistently in the 1800+ ladder as well. https://pokepast.es/788adda80ca7a4b4

Hello Jam I've tryed to make a CB Tyranitar team It is made of a spedef clef with barb to criple tran or whatever switches in, nasty plot torn with weather ball for the zapy boy. We have to finish the team slowbro and corvy to gain momentum and last but not least driller with sd and spin.

Hope u have fun with it and good luck with it.

Finally got up to playing and building for gen8Ubers after a hiatus, thanks to your videos. Got to top 10 using some really fun stuff like Nihilego and super set-up Necro lol. This gen is actually super fun now with no Dmax so thanks for re-introducing me into Ubers once again :)

Hi Jam, first off thank you for featuring my team in your latest video! I have another fun team for you to try, and the main gimmick starts on the first turn.

The Hawlucha on this team is meant to be an anti-lead that can set up on Landorus-T, Hippowdon, etc. The way it works is that you Mean Look the first turn, and then Encore them into Stealth Rocks. This then allows you to Bulk Up to +6, and allows you to do some major damage with Acrobatics (once Encore's PP runs out, hence the Leppa Berry).

After Hawlucha does some major damage to the opposing team, it acts like a hyper offense team that deals with Hawlucha's checks and counters such as Heatran, Zapdos, and Tyranitar. The Speed EVs are used to speed creep Landorus-T, but an alternative of 228 speed EVs can be used to outspeed Mew. Have fun!

Been trying to make Toxtricity work in OU for a while and I think this team finally does it. Just chip everything a little and get a shift gear off with Toxtricity and watch it kill everything.

    Love the vids.
Hi Jam! I made this team based around Dragapult + Salazzle since people were sleeping on Dragapult once Spectrier was banned. With Toxic, Toxic Spikes, and Thunder Wave; Specs Hex will hit extremely hard. Tapu Bulu is there to check Barraskewda constantly, to outspeed Azumarill, and to tank special attacks. Enjoy!

Hey jam, hope your doing fine with the moving and all. I made the dual weather team a few weeks back and since then got into the 1400s with this HO team feat Nasty Plot Ninetales. I remember you telling me to give a mon a purpose to have a slot so yah. Hope you get to use it and gauge how my teambuilding might have improved or not. Cheers! Team breakdown in the comment

-Mold Breaker Exca serves as the suicide lead/ pseudo breaker. Able to set up rocks and toxic even thru magic bounce mons. It also supports Pult by poisoning mons which amps Hex for it

-Pult serves as the screener and wisp support. Wisp to cripple physical attackers like Kart, Lando-T and opposing booms and to amp its Hex.

At 1 NP Ninetales can OHKO heatran w/ scorching sands, 2HKO Slowking w/ energy ball and 2HKO physdef Moltres. Only mons that can withstand its attacks raw are bliss and chans and probably spdef glowking. Even they run the risk of a SS burn or energy ball Spdef drop which can let Pult later.
A little bit of scizor and slowking heat
Scizor has sand tomb to trap and then 3KO max defense and hp pex
Slowking running dragon tail so no more dark switch ins for future sight.
    Scizor @ Life Orb
Both of these fit well on a Volt-Turn team I was making so yeee
