Welcome to ADVLTL I. This thread is for the signups for those who wish to manage in the tour. Information about the tournament can be found at the Announcements Thread here. Hosts for this edition of ADVLTL are JoaF, mason, and adorluigi

ALSO HUGE SHOUT to Revival for starting the prize pool at $100 thanks to their contribution. Revival will also be opening this up for further contributions with crowdfunding. Thanks again to them for what they do for this community.

When signing up, YOU MUST SIGN WITH AN ASSISTANT MANAGER and state who they are. Managers will be able to purchase themselves for 15k credits for one or 40k for both prior to the draft if they wish to do so.

There will be a maximum of 2 Managers per team, and 15 players per team.

Managers will be chosen based on experience in ADV tournaments, their level of involvement in the community and knowledge of the playerbase, their general competence, and prowess in managing in other high level tournaments in other tiers. If you do sign up, it would be worth explaining why you and your assistant manager would be good picks with relation to the above criteria.
This years edition will feature 6 teams with 10 slots:

Prospective managers and players are encouraged to join the Smogon ADV community Discord if there are any questions or concerns.

Signups will be up for 1-2 weeks depending. Player signups will go up immediately afterwards.

Why should you be selected: I've managed and drafted for about 15 team tours now, and this would be my third on Smogon. I've also participated in twice as many team tournaments, including being the finals for the current ADVPL. I've been connected with the ADV community for a few years now and I'm very familiar with the player base through tours like ALTPL, ADVPL, UUFPL, RUGL, PUBD, and through Discord, Smogon and Pokemon Showdown. My co-manager Krys is known for her RBY but has been breaking into ADV lower tiers and is excited and committed to managing the team that wins this tournament.

Why we will be winning this tour: I have plenty of experience drafting, playing, and prepping for adv lower tiers. Between 4 editions of ADVPL and various individual and team tours both on and off smogon, I'm very familiar with the players and intricacies of many tiers in the format. Valerie is a sleeper threat that knows ZU and LC tiers very well, so between us we can cover every tier in this tournament and bring home the bag.

I have managed BSSPL twice, reaching the finals both times, and I’m currently leading MSPL. I have managed BKCPL,ADPL,Many other offsite and onsite tours.I’ve also won HGPL As a manager , was a finalist in AXPL, and I’m currently managing NUFL and captaining Asia in the BW World Cup.
Concept last year managed and won CAPCL, LGPL, HGPL, he made finals in AXPL and NDOT and has plenty of general team tour experience. This year he has made semifinals in CAPCL and has been involved in hosting tours for AG, ZU, and NFE throughout the last year,as well as managing ALTPL which consisted of adv lower tiers and be can support almost all tiers in the tour. We both will make a great duo and a pick for the tour if given a chance!

Why should you be selected: I have experience managing the latest PUBD which included ADV PU, and am very active in the ADV lower tier scene. I’ve played PU in ADVPL, RU in RUPL, NU in NUCL, and made grand finals of ADV lower tier slam. I also won the most recent UUBL money tour hosted in the Revival discord.

Teh has done an incredible job kickstarting the rebirth of ADV UUBL through organizing and hosting 2 recent tours for the metagame, as well as helping run the ADV UUBL discord. He’s managed a lot of teams before this as well, including ALTPL, RBYPL, RBYOMPL, and now NUFL.
