Quiver Dance Sweeper (Volcarona) @ Covert Cloak / Grassy Seed / Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy / Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Def / 4 SpA / 4 SpD / 108 Spe OR 252 HP / 60 Def / 36 SpA / 4 SpD / 156 Spe
Timid / Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Heat Wave
- Tera Blast / Giga Drain
- Quiver Dance
- Protect

[SET COMMENTS]
- Volcarona acts as a dangerous setup sweeper through Quiver Dance, which allows it to accumulate boosts and sweep games. Volcarona has great coverage, such as Giga Drain, to hit Pokemon its STAB attacks would be unable to. Through Terastallization Volcarona can threaten its checks and counters while improving its survivability. Volcarona provides invaluable Fire-type STAB as it threatens popular Grass-, Steel-, and Ice-types in the format such as Gholdengo, Rillaboom, and Alolan Ninetales.
- Heat Wave is Volcarona's primary STAB option which allows it to get around redirection from the likes of Electabuzz, Maushold, and Amoonguss. Tera Fairy Blast allows Volcarona to damage Dragon-types such as Garchomp and Dragonite. Giga Drain on Tera Grass sets improve Volcarona's survivability through higher recovery from Giga Drain, and hits Water- and Ground-types such as Basculegion-M and both Ursaluna formes respectively.
- Covert Cloak allows Volcarona to ignore secondary effects from moves such as Fake Out from Incineroar and Rillaboom, Icy Wind from Alolan Ninetales, and Snarl from Archaludon and Hydreigon which would otherwise hinder its ability to set up and sweep. Grassy Seed helps Volcarona tank physical hits, however this leaves Volcarona vulnerable to the aforementioned moves and is reliant on Grassy Terrain from Pokemon such as Rillaboom to improve Volcarona's poor Physical Defense. Leftovers provides passive healing, which in combination with Grassy Terrain and Giga Drain recovery allows Volcarona to survive for many turns throughout a match to allow Volcarona to set up multiple Quiver Dances.
- Tera Fairy allows Volcarona to gain an immunity to Dragon-type attacks such as Scale Shot from Dragonite, while providing a good defensive typing that importantly maintains its Fighting-Type resistance to Sneasler's and Annihilape's Fighting-type STAB. However, it introduces new weaknesses to Poison- and Steel-type moves such as Sneasler's Dire Claw and Gholdengo's Make It Rain respectively. Tera Grass allows Volcarona to gain a resistance to Water- and Electric-type attacks such as Wave Crash from Basculegion-M, and Electro Shot from Archaludon, allowing Giga Drain to turn from a 2HKO on Basculegion-M to an OHKO at +1, and granting an immunity to powder moves from Pokemon such as Amoonguss and Jumpluff. However, it retains Volcarona's weakness to Flying-type attacks such as from Pelipper's Hurricane and Kilowattrel's Air Slash.
-
The first EV spread is used on Covert Cloak and Leftovers sets, with the allocated bulk allowing Volcarona to always survive Adamant Sneasler's Fake Out in combination with 5 hit Scale Shot from Adamant Dragonite. With minimal Special Defense investment Volcarona always survives a Blood Moon from Modest Tera Normal Life Orb Ursaluna Bloodmoon after a Quiver Dance boost. With a Modest Nature Volcarona can outspeed Adamant Dragonite, with Timid Volcarona can outspeed Jolly Swift Swim Basculegion-M in rain at +2. The second EV spread is used on Grassy Seed sets which invest less in Defense due to the Grassy Seed boost. With the HP and Defense EV's, Volcarona can always survive an Adamant Guts boosted Facade from Ursaluna after an Intimidate. With the Speed EV's and a Timid nature, Volcarona can always outspeed Gholdengo and Archaludon, whilst with a Modest nature Volcarona can outspeed Adamant Dragonite and outspeed max Speed Modest Ursaluna-Bloodmoon in Tailwind after a Quiver Dance. 36 Special Attack with a Modest nature almost always ensures an OHKO on Kingambit with Heat Wave at +1.
- Quiver Dance Volcarona can accumulate many boosts leading to it sweeping entire teams, however it requires multiple turns of set up leaving it vulnerable to status moves such as Spore and Encore which can prevent it from sweeping. Volcarona can often be forced to Terastallize or switch out due to its poor Defensive-typing which can be utilized by foes to create pins against it or gain momentum by forcing Volcarona to switch-out. Quiver Dance Volcarona prefers to stay in the field for long times and is often led with supportive Pokemon to set up Quiver Dances or kept in the back to set up and sweep a weakened team. Quiver Dance Volcarona invests less in Speed in favor of bulk leaving it vulnerable to faster foes such as Sneasler and Annihilape. On the contrary support Volcarona aids powerful Pokemon such as Ursaluna-Bloodmoon and Archaludon through redirection and speed control from Rage Powder and Tailwind respectively, while lacking the damage output Quiver Dance Volcarona has. Support Volcarona can either be switched in to take Grass- and Fighting-type attacks or be led to set up speed control immediately and then switched out to provide support later. Support Volcarona invests much more in Speed to ensure it can always set up tailwind first in front of Pokemon such as Annihilape and Hisuian Typhlosion.

Bulky Redirector (Volcarona) @ Sitrus Berry / Safety Goggles
Ability: Flame Body

Timid Nature

- Overheat / Heat Wave
- Struggle Bug
- Rage Powder
- Tailwind

[SET COMMENTS]
- Volcarona acts as a great support Pokemon thanks to its access to redirection, speed control, damage negation, its ability Flame Body discouraging Pokemon from hitting it with contact moves, and a STAB move that threatens many common Steel-, Grass-, and Ice-type Pokemon in the format such as Gholdengo, Rillaboom and Alolan Ninetales.
- Overheat allows Volcarona to deal a big burst of damage, notably allowing it to always OHKO standard Gholdengo, Kingambit, Miracle Seed Rillaboom, and having a good chance at KOing less specially defensive Amoonguss sets. Heat Wave is a good option to hit both opponents through redirection. Struggle Bug lowers foes special attacks helping Volcarona's teammates survive for longer. Rage Powder allows Volcarona to redirect attacks to protect its partner and can burn physical attackers whose contact moves are redirected to it through its ability Flame Body. Tailwind provides speed control for Volcarona and its partners to ensure they always go first, and allows Volcarona to outspeed Pokemon such as Sneasler and Dragonite at +1.
- Sitrus Berry improves Volcarona's survivability through its healing, while Safety Goggles allows Volcarona to become immune to powder moves from the likes of Amoonguss and Jumpluff but worsens Volcarona's longevity due to a lack of healing item.
- Tera Water allows Volcarona to safely redirect Water-type moves from Basculegion-M and Pelipper such as Wave Crash and Weather Ball respectively, while maintaining its resistance to Gholdengo's Make It Rain. However, Tera Water makes Volcarona weak to Grass- and Electric-type moves such as Rillaboom's Wood Hammer and Archaludon's Electro Shot. Tera Grass allows Volcarona to become immune ignore powder moves from Amoonguss and Jumpluff without the need for Safety Goggles. However, it makes Volcarona weak to common Fire-type attacks such as opposing Volcarona's Heat Waves and Incineroar's Flare Blitz. Additionally, Volcarona retains its weakness to Flying-type to attacks such as Talonflame's Brave Bird, Pelipper's Hurricane or Tera Flying Sneasler Acrobatics.
-The EV spread allows Volcarona to survive a Black Glasses Kowtow Cleave from Adamant Kingambit, and nearly always live a 5 hit Scale Shot from Adamant Dragonite on the physical side, while on the special side Volcarona can always live Kilowattrel's Air Slash, +2 Volcarona's Heat Wave, and -1 Tera Normal Life Orb Blood Moon from Ursaluna-Bloodmoon. Max Speed EV's and a Timid nature allows Volcarona to outrun base 90 and base 95 Speed Pokemon such as Annihilape and Hisuian-Typhlosion.
- Support Volcarona is a good support option able to lower the opponents offensive prowess through burn from Flame Body and Struggle Bug, provide speed control and threaten the formats Grass-, Steel- and Ice-types, however its typing leaves it with many weaknesses compared to other redirectors such as Maushold and Amoonguss meaning it can go down quickly to a super effective attack such as from Rock Slide, Wave Crash and Hurricane from Hisuian Arcanine, Basculegion-M and Pelipper respectively.

Teambuilding
============
- Quiver Dance Volcarona is a staple of balance teams as it can utilize the support given by redirectors such as Electabuzz or Fake Out users such as Rillaboom and Incineroar, to set up safely and launch huge damage into a majority of the format.
- Support Volcarona is a staple of hyper offense teams as it can protect the frail offensive teammates its paired with such as Sneasler, Archaludon, Kingambit and Ursaluna Bloodmoon with redirection, provide damage reduction through Flame Body burns and Struggle Bug, and provide speed control through Tailwind. In return Volcarona's teammates can deal high damage to make up for its low offensive output.
- Quiver Dance Volcarona pairs excellently with Rillaboom as it provides Fake Out to help Volcarona set up, Grass-type STAB to threaten the Water- and Rock-types that threaten Volcarona such as Basculegion-M. Rillaboom also can threaten both Ursaluna formes whose high powered moves can threaten to hit Volcarona very hard with Facade and Blood Moon respectively. Another great partner is Incineroar who can provide damage reduction in the form of Intimidate, Parting Shot, and has Fake Out to allow Volcarona to set up.
- Alolan Ninetales provides coverage to hit Dragon-types such as Dragonite and Garchomp through Blizzard, speed control in the form of Icy Wind, and damage reduction in Aurora Veil. It also helps Volcarona against rain team by shutting down rain and can threaten Basculegion-M and Pelipper with Freeze Dry.
-Electabuzz provides redirection to help Volcarona set up, a resistance to Flying-type attacks, and an immunity to sleep to redirect Spores from Amoonguss and Jumpluff, to prevent them from interfering with Volcarona.
-Basculegion-M is a great partner Pokemon for Quiver Dance Volcarona as Basculegion-M can hit the Fire-types who resist Volcarona's STAB and coverage, in particular Incineroar who could otherwise disrupt Volcarona. Basculegion-M also hits the Ursaluna formes who could otherwise threaten Volcarona with their high-powered Facade and Blood Moon. In return Volcarona can hit Grass-types such as Rillaboom who threaten Basculegion-M. Dragonite is a useful ally for Volcarona as it can hit opposing Dragon-types like Garchomp hard with Scale Shot, and can also switch-in on powerful Water-type attacks from Dondozo and Basculegion-M such as Wave Crash thanks to Multiscale and its Dragon-type.
- Quiver Dance Volcarona can be outsped and KOed by faster Pokemon before it can set up such as Charizard in sun, and its frailness on the physical side can be exploited by strong physical attacker such as Sneasler and Dragonite. Volcarona often needs to Terastallize to avoid being KOed which can be exploited through pinning it or forcing it to switch out. Volcarona is vulnerable to encore from Alolan Ninetales and Whimsicott forcing it to Quiver Dance and being easily KOed.
- Support Volcarona pairs well with Pokemon such as Kingambit, Archaludon and Ursaluna Bloodmoon who appreciate Volcarona's ability to redirect Fighting-type moves which can threaten them. Additionally, Volcarona both resists and can threaten the Grass- and Ice-types who Ursaluna Bloodmoon is weak to through its Fire-type STAB. Archaludon and Ursaluna Bloodmoon's poor Special Defense stat can be improved through Volcarona's Struggle Bug weakening the Special Attack of foes. In return the aforementioned allies can provide powerful attacks such as Kowtow Cleave, Electro Shot, and Blood Moon to make up for Support Volcarona's low offensive output. Archaludon and Ursaluna Bloodmoon can threaten the Rock-, Water- and Flying-types for Volcarona through Earth Power and Electro Shot respectively.
- Sneasler is another great partner for Support Volcarona as its immense frailness means it likes to have a supporting partner who can provide damage reduction and redirection through the aforementioned moves. Sneasler in return can threaten the Rock-types such as Hisuian Arcanine who threaten Volcarona.
- Support Volcarona suffers from a typing which leaves it weak to many team styles such as rain, and moves such as Wave Crash from Basculegion-M, which means it can be forced to Terastallize or switch out for it to survive, otherwise it can end being KOed quickly. Ursaluna poses a problem for Volcarona as it's a physical attacker which doesn't care about being burned thanks to its Guts ability and can OHKO with Facade. Sneasler helps with this thanks to its Fighting STAB threatening Ursaluna. Volcarona can struggle against Taunt Pokemon such as Incineroar and Electabuzz who can taunt it to prevent redirection and Tailwind whilst not taking much from Volcarona in return. Sneasler threatens Incineroar with Fighting-type STAB and Ursaluna Bloodmoon threatens both the aforementioned Pokemon with Ground-type STAB, and Kingambit discourages Incineroar from switching in and Taunting Volcarona through Defiant.

Strategy Comments
============
- Quiver Dance Volcarona's role is to be a sweeper by setting up multiple Quiver Dance's to take KOs on opposing Pokemon and win the entire game or punch holes in the opposing team for the late-game. Volcarona shines when paired with Fake Out, Intimidate and redirection support such as from the aforementioned Pokemon which can be led alongside Volcarona to ensure it can set up multiple Quiver Dance's and sweep.
-Support Volcarona's role is to provide redirection, speed control and damage reduction through Rage Powder, Tailwind, Flame Body and Struggle Bug respectively to allow its high power offensive threats such as Ursaluna Bloodmoon, Sneasler and Kingambit to hit foes hard, move first, and survive for longer.
- Quiver Dance Volcarona is either led alongside a support Pokemon to set up Quiver Dances in the early-game and then sweep the mid- to late-game or is kept in the back where in comes out in the late-game to set up and sweep through a weakened team. Trick Room is a problematic match up for Quiver Dance Volcarona as Ursaluna and Torkoal both outspeed Volcarona in Trick Room and threaten to OHKO Volcarona before it can move. Balance teams are a favorable match up for Quiver Dance Volcarona as they often can't threaten to KO Volcarona immediately. which allows Volcarona to set up and then break through them with boosted attacks.
- Without Terastallization Quiver Dance Volcarona is countered by Dragon-types such as Garchomp and Dragonite who resist its Fire-type STAB, with the latter being able to Haze away its boosts. This can be mitigated through Terastallization utilizing Tera Fairy Blast or an Ice-type such as Alolan Ninetales who can threaten Dragon-types with super effective damage with Blizzard. Volcarona, without Giga Drain, is checked by Primarina who resists Volcarona's Heat Wave, threatens it with Hyper Voice, and is specially bulky enough to take a Tera Fairy Blast and Haze to remove Volcarona boosts. This can be mitigated with Rillaboom who threatens Primarina for super effective Grass-type damage on its much weaker physical side. Rock-types such as Tyranitar and Hisuian Arcanine counter Volcarona as they resist Volcarona's Fire-type STAB and threaten Volcarona with quadruple super effective Rock-type STAB, forcing a Terastallization from Volcarona or switch-out. This can be mitigated with Fighting- and Ground-types such as Sneasler and Ursaluna Bloodmoon threatening super effective damage.
- Support Volcarona shines when its supporting frail strong attackers who require redirection and damage reduction to stay alive while can provide high offensive output for Volcarona such as Archaludon, Sneasler, and Ursaluna Bloodmoon. Support Volcarona also shines at being able to discourage contact moves from the likes of Sneasler and Kingambit by threatening to burn them with Flame Body permanently weakening them, with the former threatening Archaludon and Ursaluna Bloodmoon with its Fighting-type STAB.
-Support Volcarona can be lead in order to set up tailwind for its teammates to utilize throughout the battle, it can also be kept in the back and switched on many of the common attacks it resists such as Wood Hammer from Rillaboom, Make It Rain from Gholdengo, and Blizzard from Alolan Ninetales to help support its team through the battle. Support Volcarona playstyle is to helps its team through damage reduction with Flame Body being able to cripple physical attackers with a burn, and Struggle Bug lowering the Special Attack of foes.
- Super effective attacks such as Rock Slide and Weather Ball from Hisuian Arcanine and Pelipper can threaten to OHKO Support Volcarona and limit its supporting ability. Ursaluna doesn't care about burns thanks to its Guts ability and will OHKO Volcarona with Facade. To counteract this, Pokemon such as Sneasler and Rillaboom can threaten the Rock-, Water-types, and Ursaluna that threaten Volcarona. Taunt Pokemon such as Incineroar and Electabuzz can limit Support Volcarona's ability to support its team, and not taking much from its Fire-type STAB in return. The aforementioned Taunt Pokemon can be threatened through Sneasler and Ursaluna Bloodmoon who threaten them with super effective damage.

- Volcarona acts as a dangerous set up sweeper through Quiver Dance to sweep games, its great coverage, and utilization of Terastallization to threaten its checks and counters whilst improving its survivability by changing its weaknesses. (this is a good starting point. Can you clean this up a bit, reads like a run on. Additionally, I'd like you to mention some examples of Pokemon Volcarona can blow through; mention how Fire-type coverage hits many popular 'mons, and provide examples)
- Heat Wave is Volcarona's primary STAB option which threatens the numerous Grass- and Steel-types in the format such as Rillaboom, Amoonguss, Kingambit and Gholdengo (instead of stating the obvious which you will now also state in the above paragraph, I would just talk about how it gets around redirection), whilst Tera Fairy Blast allows Volcarona to damage Dragon-types that would normally resist its Fire-type STAB (dex info) such as Dragapult (i would much rather this be something like Garchomp or Hydreigon since Dragapult is so frail anyways) and Dragonite. Giga Drain on Tera Grass sets improves Volcarona's survivability, and hits Water- and Rock-types whose STAB threatens Volcarona (dex info) such as Primarina and Tyranitar. (these are good mentions but not as popular as Pokemon like Basculegion or the Ursaluna formes, which would most likely be better callouts because of their heightened popularity. Do note that if you remove Tyranitar for the Ursaluna formes, change it from Rock to ground!!!)
- Covert Cloak allows Volcarona to ignore secondary effects from moves such as (although it feels like dex info, this feels necessary, as you don't just ignore the moves, but rather the effects) Fake Out from Incineroar and Rillaboom, Icy Wind from Alolan Ninetales, and Snarl from Archaludon and Hydreigon which would otherwise hinder its ability to set up and sweep, however it leaves itself vulnerable to physical attacks due to its poor Defense (poor defense should only be mentioned when talking about GS IMO). Grassy Seed helps augment Volcarona's poor defense stat by giving it a defense boost allowing (fluff + dex info) helps Volcarona to tank physical hits, however this leaves itself Volcarona vulnerable to the aforementioned moves previously mentioned and is reliant on Rillaboom Grassy Terrain from Pokemon such as Rillaboom (Rillaboom isn't the one activating Grassy Seed, the terrain is!) to improve Volcarona's poor Physical Defense. Leftovers provides passive healing allowing Volcarona to survive for longer throughout the match but also leaves it vulnerable to the moves previously mentioned. (this feels kind of... dry. Maybe talk about how potent the combo of leftovers + gterrain + gdrain could be?)
- Tera Fairy allows Volcarona to gain an immunity to Dragon-type attacks such as Scale Shot from Dragonite, whilst gaining neutralities to multiple types it was previously weak allowing it to set up more Quiver Dance boosts (this is true of most Tera Types. What makes Fairy special? Retaining the Fire-type resist is a big one. If you want to say it sheds weaknesses and evolves them into neutral-attacks, just say (x-type is a generally good defensive typing)). However, it introduces new weaknesses to Poison and Steel-type moves such as Sneasler's Dire Claw and Gholdengo's Make It Rain respectively. Tera Grass allows Volcarona to gain a resistance to the Water and Electric-type attacks such as Wave Crash from Basculegion-M, and Electro Shot from Archaludon, whilst boosting the power of its Giga Drain allowing it to recover more with each attack (any important calcs?), and granting an immunity to powder moves such as Spore, Sleep Powder, and Rage Powder from Pokemon such as Amoonguss and Jumpluff. Additionally, it allows Volcarona's Giga Drain to turn from a 2HKO on Basculegion-M to an OHKO at +1 (this should be said where I wrote any important calcs?), however it retains Volcarona's weakness to Flying-type attacks such as from Pelipper's Hurricane and Tyranitar's Tera Flying Blast (I'm ngl, I don't like this example. I'd much rather see a Kilowattrel mention here, especially since it has been having more usage than Tyranitar recently in official tournaments).
- The first EV spread is found on Covert Cloak and Leftovers sets, with the allocated HP and Defense EV's allowing Volcarona to always survive Adamant Sneasler's Fake Out in combination with 5 hit Scale Shot from Adamant Dragonite, and Adamant Tera Dark Black Glasses Kowtow Cleave from Kingambit. With minimal Special Defense investment Volcarona can always survive a +2 Shadow Ball from Timid 132 Special Attack Life Orb Gholdengo, and a Blood Moon from Modest Tera Normal Ursaluna Bloodmoon after a Quiver Dance boost. With the Speed EV's and a Modest nature Volcarona can outspeed Adamant Dragonite before it can threaten to Haze its boosts, whilst with a Timid nature at +2 Volcarona can outspeed Jolly Swift Swim Basculegion-M in Rain.
- The second EV spread is found on Grassy Seed sets which invests less in Defense thanks to the Grassy Seed Boost. With the HP, Defense EV's, and the Grassy Seed boost Volcarona can always survive an Adamant Guts boosted Facade from Ursaluna after an Intimidate, and Tera Flying Blast from Adamant Assault Vest Tyranitar. With the Speed EVs and a Timid nature Volcarona always outspeeds Gholdengo and Archaludon, whilst with a Modest Volcarona outspeeds Adamant Dragonite, Modest Gholdengo, and can outspeed max Speed Modest Ursaluna Bloodmoon in Tailwind after a Quiver Dance. 36 Special Attack and a Modest nature almost always ensures an OHKO on Kingambit with Heat Wave after a Quiver Dance and an OHKO on less Specially Defense invested Annihilape with Tera Fairy Blast.
(I'm not going to check these yet because they realistically don't need their own paragraphs; they can just be one. I want you to compress this, maybe that means cutting a few things, and fit both spreads into one paragraph)

- Quiver Dance Volcarona can accumulate many boosts leading to it sweeping entire teams, however it requires multiple turns of set up leaving it vulnerable to attacks, specifically on the physical side due to its low base Physical Defense (this also leaves it vulnerable to Encore!!!). If Volcarona is forced out (i asusme you mean forced to seitch out? Forced Out implies a move like Roar / Whirlwind was used, which gets no play in Regulation H) it will have to restart with no Quiver Dance boosts which causes it to be more vulnerable to special attacks and be much less threatening to foes (instead of this, I would rather see something on hoe getting forced to switch out happens often to Volcarona because of its poor defensive typing). Without Covert Cloak Volcarona is also subject to being disrupted by Fake Out, Snarl and Icy Wind which hinder its ability to set up and sweep. (You're repeating yourself, you stated this repeatedly already. I would rather see here you compare QD Volcarona to Support Volcarona, how can the supportive one be better in some scenarios?)

[SET COMMENTS]
- Volcarona acts as a great support Pokemon thanks to its access to redirection, speed control, status moves damage negation, its ability Flame Body discouraging physical attackers Pokemon from hitting it with contact moves (not just physical moves are contact), and a STAB move that threatens many common Steel-, Grass-, and Ice-type Pokemon in the format such as Gholdengo, Rillaboom and Alolan-Ninetales. (good job here!)
- Overheat allows Volcarona to deal a big burst of damage with the drawback that it lowers its Special Attack afterwards (dex info), notably allowing it to always OHKO standard Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Miracle Seed Rillaboom, whilst have a good chance at OHKOing more offensive Assault Vest Rillaboom and less specially defensive Amoonguss sets, while Flamethrower is a more consistent STAB option that avoids that stat drop. Heat Wave is a good spread damage option to hit both opponents through redirection. Struggle Bug can be used to lower foes special attacks helping Volcarona and its teammates survive for longer, whilst Will-O-Wisp can cripple physical attackers (if you remove the wisp shout, then remove this as well). Rage Powder allows Volcarona to redirect attacks to protect its partner and can burn physical attackers who contact moves are redirected to it (how? Does rage powder burn?). Tailwind provides speed control for Volcarona and its partners to ensure they always go first. (lackluster sentence... Anything Volcarona outspeed when under TW?)
- Sitrus Berry improves Volcarona's survivability as Volcarona can take a big hit then heal up utilizing the Sitrus Berry, however leaves it vulnerable to Spore from Amoonguss, and Sleep Powder from Jumpluff which can shut down its ability to support its teammates (fluff / dex info / unnecessary items). Safety Goggles allows Volcarona to become immune to powder moves from the previously mentioned Pokemon the likes of Amoonguss however but worsens Volcarona's longevity due to a lack of healing item.
- Tera Water is useful for turning Volcarona's Water-type weakness into a resistance allowing it to safely redirect Water-type moves from Basculegion-M and Pelipper. It also provides neutralities to types Volcarona was previously weak to such as Rock and Flying which allows Volcarona to safely redirect these hits without fear of being OHKOed. However, Tera Water makes you weak to Grass- and Electric-type moves such as Rillaboom's Wood Hammer and Archaludon's Electro Shot, the latter of which meaning Volcarona can be pinned by a rain team. Tera Grass allows Volcarona to become immune ignore powder moves from the aforementioned Pokemon without the need for Safety Goggles. However, it makes Volcarona weak to common Fire-type attacks such as Hisuian-Typhlosion's Eruption and Incineroar's Flare Blitz. Additionally, it retains its weakness to Flying-type attacks meaning Volcarona can be KOed by a strong flying type attack such as Talonflame's Brave Bird, Pelipper's Hurricane or Tera Flying Unburden boosted Sneasler Acrobatics.
-The EV spread on this Volcarona set allows it to survive a Black Glasses Kowtow Cleave from Adamant Kingambit, and nearly always live a 5 hit Scale Shot from Adamant Dragonite on the physical side, whilst on the special side Volcarona has a high chance of surviving Tera Electric Electro Shot from Timid Archaludon and +2 Shadow Ball from 132 Special Attack Life Orb Gholdengo, whilst always being able to survive a -1 Tera Normal Life Orb Blood Moon from Ursaluna-Bloodmoon. The Speed EV's and a Timid nature allows Volcarona to outrun base 90 and base 95 Speed Pokemon such as Annihilape and Hisuian-Typhlosion whilst ensuring it at least speed ties with other base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Charizard.
- Redirector Volcarona is a good support option able to lower the opponents Physical and Special Attack through Will-O-Wisp and Struggle Bug, provide speed control and threaten the formats many Grass-, Steel- and Ice-types, however its typing leaves it with many weaknesses to common attacking typing such as Flying, Rock, Water, compared to other redirectors such as Maushold and Amoonguss meaning it can go down quickly to a super effective attack. It also has poor physical bulk meaning strong neutral physical attacks such as Tera Dark Black Glasses Kowtow Cleave from Kingambit can threaten to OHKO it.

Teambuilding
============
- Quiver Dance Volcarona is a staple of balance teams due to needing support to help it set up boosts to sweep games which balance teams can provide with Pokemon such as Incineroar and Rillaboom whilst in turn Volcarona can provide high offensive power for balance teams.
- Quiver Dance Volcarona pairs excellently with Rillaboom as it provides Fake Out to help it set up, Grass STAB to threaten the Water and Rock-types that threaten Volcarona, particularly Primarina who can haze Volcarona's boosts, and Rillaboom's ground type coverage in High Horsepower can hit Fire-types such as Incineroar and Hisuian Arcanine for super effective damage that Volcarona would otherwise be unable to. Another great partner is Incineroar who can provide damage reduction in the form of Intimidate and Parting Shot, and offering Fake Out to allow Volcarona to set up.
- Alolan Ninetales can provide coverage to hit Dragon-types without the need for Volcarona to Terastallize, speed control in the form of Icy Wind, and damage reduction in Aurora Veil. Whilst Electabuzz provides redirection to help Volcarona set up, a resistance to Flying-type attacks, and an immunity to sleep to redirect Spores from Amoonguss and Jumpluff, to prevent them from interfering with Volcarona by putting it to sleep.
-Kingambit acts as a strong physical threat that contrasts Volcarona high special damage on balance teams, discourages Incineroar from entering to lower Volcarona's Special Attack or disrupt it through Parting Shot, and Fake Out respectively through its Defiant ability. It can also hit Rock-types for super effective damage through its Steel-type STAB. Sneasler is another common partner on these balance teams thanks to its ability to hit Rock-types for super effective damage through Fighting-type STAB, hit Incineroar for super effective damage who can disrupt Volcarona through the previously mentioned moves, and has Fake Out to help Volcarona set up.
-Basculegion-M is a great partner Pokemon for Volcarona as Basculegion-M can hit the Rock-types that threaten Volcarona for super effective damage while in turn Volcarona can hit the Grass-types that threaten Basculegion-M for super effective damage. Dragonite is a useful ally for Volcarona as it can hit the Dragon-types which resist Volcarona Fire STAB for super effective damage without Volcarona needing to Terastallize, and provides speed control with Tailwind to allow it to move first and set up a Quiver Dance.
-Quiver Dance Volcarona is however not without weaknesses as it can be outsped and KOed by faster Pokemon before it can set up such as Choice Specs Solar Power Charizard in sun, its frailness on the physical side can be exploited by strong physical attacker such as Sneasler and Tyranitar. Volcarona often needs to Terastallize to avoid being KOed which can be exploited in addition to requiring multiple turns of set up to accumulate Quiver Dance boosts.
- Redirector Volcarona pairs well with Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Excadrill and Ursaluna Bloodmoon all appreciate Volcarona's ability to redirect Grass-, Fairy-, Ground-, Steel- and Fighting-type moves which can threaten them for super effective damage towards itself and threaten the Grass-, Steel- and Ice-types who threaten them with super effective Fire STAB such as Rillaboom, Gholdengo and Alolan-Ninetales. Volcarona also pairs well with Tyranitar and Ursaluna Bloodmoon due to both having poor speed stats which can be helped by Volcarona's ability to set up Tailwind. Ursaluna Bloodmoon's poor Special Defense stat can be improved through Volcarona's Struggle Bug weakening the opposing Special Attack of foes.
-Redirector Volcarona thrives on Indeedee-M Sneasler sand teams with the two aforementioned sand Pokemon, Tyranitar and Excadrill as these teams don't enjoy Rillaboom's ability to turn off Indeedee-M's Psychic Terrain and its ability to threaten Tyranitar for super effective damage with a strong Wood Hammer. Volcarona helps these teams through its quadruple resistance to Grass allowing it to switch it and OHKO Rillaboom with Overheat if not then significantly damage it acting as a reliable counter to it.
- Redirector Volcarona appreciates Pokemon who can threaten the Water, Rock- and Flying-types such as Tyranitar who can hit Flying-types for super effective damage with its Rock STAB, Excadrill who can hit Rock-types for super effective damage with its Ground STAB, and Archaludon whose powerful Electro Shot and Thunderbolt can hit Water-types for super effective damage.
- Redirector Volcarona suffers from a typing which leaves it weak to many team styles such as rain, and common moves such as Wave Crash and Rock Slide from Basculegion-M and Hisuian Arcanine respectively, which means it can be forced to Terastallize for it to survive otherwise it can end being KOed quickly. Ursaluna also particularly poses a problem for Volcarona as it's a physical attacker which doesn't care about being burned thanks to its Guts ability and can threaten a OHKO with Facade. Volcarona can struggle against bulky taunt Pokemon such as Incineroar and Electabuzz who can taunt it to prevent redirection and Tailwind whilst not taking much from Volcarona in return.

- Quiver Dance Volcarona main role is to be a sweeper by setting up multiple Quiver Dance's to take KOs on opposing Pokemon and win the entire game or take multiple KOs before it goes down creating a Pokemon advantage for the team in the late game. Volcarona shines with Fake Out, Intimidate and redirection support such as from the aforementioned Rillaboom, Incineroar and Electabuzz which can be lead alongside Volcarona to ensure it can set up multiple Quiver Dance's to where the opponent can't easily KO it and to where Volcarona can sweep.
- Quiver Dance Volcarona is often either lead alongside a support Pokemon to set up Quiver Dances and sweep games or is kept in the back where in the late game it can set up and sweep through a weakened team. Certain matchups such as sun provide problematic match ups for Quiver Dance Volcarona as the Fire-type boosted attacks in the sun can often overpower its Quiver Dance boosts and KO quickly before it can get too many such as Charizard's Solar Power, sun boosted attacks and Hisuian-Typhlosion Tera Fire Choice Specs Eruption. Rain however is a more favourable match up for Quiver Dance Volcarona as many rain threats are special attackers who Volcarona will take less damage from as it sets up utilizing Electabuzz's Follow Me or Rillaboom's Fake Out to help prevent it being KOed in the early game, whilst the main physical rain attacker on rain teams, Basculegion-M is heavily threatened by Rillaboom who is a common Volcarona partner.
- Without Terastilization or with Giga Drain Tera Grass sets Volcarona is countered by Dragon-types such as Dragapult and Dragonite who resist its Fire-type STAB and Grass-type coverage, with the latter being able to Haze away its boosts. This can be mitigated through Terastallization into a Fairy-Type utilizing Tera Fairy Blast or an Ice-type Pokemon such as Alolan Ninetales who can threaten Dragon-types with super effective damage and hit Dragonite for 4x super effective damage. With the Tera Fairy Blast set it can be checked by Primarina who resists Volcarona STAB, can threaten it with super effective Water-type damage, and is specially bulky enough to take a Tera Fairy Blast and Haze to remove Volcarona boosts. This can be mitigated with Rillaboom who can threaten Primarina for super effective Grass-type damage on its much weaker physical side. Rock-types such as Tyranitar and Hisuian Arcanine can act as checks to Volcarona as they resist Volcarona's Fire-type STAB, the latter by four times, and can threaten Volcarona with quadruple super effective Rock-type move forcing a Terastallization from Volcarona. Additionally, the Special Defense boost from the Tyranitar's ability allows it take on Volcarona's super effective Giga Drain coverage while Hisuian-Arcanine resisting Volcarona's Tera Fairy Blast which makes it particularly effective in countering it. Water- and Grass-types such as Primarina and Rillaboom help Volcarona by hitting Rock-types for super effective damage with Rillaboom having Ground-type coverage for Hisuian-Arcanine although also being threatened by its Fire-type STAB.
- Redirector Volcarona is a supporting Pokemon whose role is to weaken enemies through Will-O-Wisp and Struggle Bug, allow its partners to go first with tailwind, and redirect threatening attacks with Rage Powder. Redirector Volcarona shines when its supporting strong attackers who want speed control to move faster than opponents such as Ursaluna Bloodmoon and Tyranitar, or frail Pokemon who appreciate Volcarona's ability to redirect attacks away from them such as Excadrill and Indeedee-M.
-Redirector Volcarona can often be lead in order to set up tailwind for its teammates to utilize throughout the battle, it can also be kept in the back and switched on many of the common attacks it resists such as Wood Hammer from Rillaboom, Make It Rain from Gholdengo, and Blizzard from Alolan-Ninetales to help support its team through the middle and end game of a battle. This set plays very differently to the offensive set which aims to sweep games as redirector Volcarona aims to help its teammates to win games through its varied supporting tools.
- Hisuian Arcanine is a great counter to redirector Volcarona as it can OHKO it with a 4x super effective damage Rock Slide, quadruple resists Volcarona's Fire-type STAB and is unable to be burned due to its part Fire-typing. This can be mitigated through partner Pokemon such as Sneasler and Excadrill who can threaten Hisuian Arcanine for super effective damage through Close Combat and High Horsepower with the latter being 4x super effective. Ursaluna is a great check to Volcarona as it doesn't have any fear of being burned thanks to its Guts ability and can OHKO Volcarona with Facade. This can be remedied through teammates such as Annihilape whose Fighting- and Ghost-type STAB can hit Ursaluna for super effective damage both before and after Terastallization into Tera Ghost. Rain is a poor matchup for redirector Volcarona as its typing leaves it susceptible to super effective water moves boosted by the rain from Pelipper and Basculegion-M making it be OHKO or forced to Terastallize. Tyranitar helps with this match up due to changing the weather to sand to prevent Water-type attacks from being boosted by rain to allow Volcarona to burn Basculegion-M before it can move although Pelliper's Weather Ball will be changed to a Rock-type move which will still OHKO Volcarona.

- Heat Wave
- Tera Blast/Giga Drain
- Quiver Dance
- Protect

[SET COMMENTS]
- Volcarona acts as a dangerous set up sweeper through Quiver Dance to sweep games, its great coverage, and utilization of Terastallization to threaten its checks and counters whilst improving its survivability by changing its weaknesses.
- Heat Wave is Volcarona's primary STAB option which threatens the numerous Grass- and Steel-types in the format such as Rillaboom, Amoonguss, Kingambit and Gholdengo, whilst Tera Fairy Blast allows Volcarona to damage Dragon-types that would normally resist its Fire-type STAB such as Dragapult and Dragonite. Giga Drain on Tera Grass sets improves Volcarona's survivability, and hits Water- and Rock-types whose STAB threatens Volcarona such as Primarina and Tyranitar.
- Covert Cloak allows Volcarona to ignore Fake Out from Incineroar and Rillaboom, Icy Wind from Alolan Ninetales, and Snarl from Archaludon and Hydreigon which would otherwise hinder its ability to set up and sweep, however it leaves itself vulnerable to physical attacks due to its poor Defense. Grassy Seed helps augment Volcarona's poor defense stat by giving it a defense boost allowing Volcarona to tank physical hits, however this leaves itself vulnerable to the moves previously mentioned and is reliant on Rillaboom to improve Volcarona's poor Physical Defense. Leftovers provides passive healing allowing Volcarona to survive for longer throughout the match but also leaves it vulnerable to the moves previously mentioned.
- Tera Fairy allows Volcarona to gain an immunity to Dragon-type attacks such as Scale Shot from Dragonite, whilst gaining neutralities to multiple types it was previously weak allowing it to set up more Quiver Dance boosts. However, it introduces new weaknesses to Poison and Steel-type moves such as Sneasler's Dire Claw and Gholdengo's Make It Rain respectively. Tera Grass allows Volcarona to gain a resistance to the Water and Electric-type attacks such as Wave Crash from Basculegion-M, and Electro Shot from Archaludon, whilst boosting the power of its Giga Drain allowing it to recover more with each attack, and granting an immunity to powder moves such as Spore, Sleep Powder, and Rage Powder from Pokemon such as Amoonguss and Jumpluff. Additionally, it allows Volcarona's Giga Drain to turn from a 2HKO on Basculegion-M to an OHKO at +1, however it retains Volcarona's weakness to Flying-type attacks such as from Pelipper's Hurricane and Tyranitar's Tera Flying Blast.
- Quiver Dance Volcarona can accumulate many boosts leading to it sweeping entire teams, however it requires multiple turns of set up leaving it vulnerable to attacks, specifically on the physical side due to its low base Physical Defense. If Volcarona is forced out it will have to restart with no Quiver Dance boosts which causes it to be more vulnerable to special attacks and be much less threatening to foes. Without Covert Cloak Volcarona is also subject to being disrupted by Fake Out, Snarl and Icy Wind which hinder its ability to set up and sweep.

Bulky Redirector (Volcarona) @ Sitrus Berry / Safety Goggles
Ability: Flame Body
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water/Grass
EVs: 156 HP / 84 Def / 12 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature Timid
IVs: 0 Atk
- Overheat / Flamethrower / Heat Wave
- Struggle Bug / Will-O-Wisp
- Rage Powder / Will-O-Wisp
- Tailwind

[SET COMMENTS]
- Volcarona acts as a great support Pokemon thanks to its access to redirection, speed control, status moves, its ability Flame Body discouraging physical attackers from hitting it with contact moves, and a STAB move that threatens many common Steel-, Grass-, and Ice-type Pokemon in the format such as Gholdengo, Rillaboom and Alolan-Ninetales.
- Overheat allows Volcarona to deal a big burst of damage with the drawback that it lowers its Special Attack afterwards, notably allowing it to always OHKO standard Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Miracle Seed Rillaboom, whilst have a good chance at OHKOing more offensive Assault Vest Rillaboom and less specially defensive Amoonguss sets, while Flamethrower is a more consistent STAB option that avoids that stat drop. Heat Wave is a good spread damage option to hit both opponents through redirection. Struggle Bug can be used to lower foes attacks helping Volcarona and its teammates survive for longer, whilst Will-O-Wisp can cripple physical attackers. Rage Powder allows Volcarona to redirect attacks to protect its partner and can burn physical attackers who contact moves are redirected to it. Tailwind provides speed control for Volcarona and its partners to ensure they always go first.
- Sitrus Berry improves Volcarona's survivability as Volcarona can take a big hit then heal up utilizing the Sitrus Berry, however leaves it vulnerable to Spore from Amoonguss, and Sleep Powder from Jumpluff which can shut down its ability to support its teammates. Safety Goggles allows Volcarona to become immune to powder moves from the previously mentioned Pokemon however worsens Volcarona's longevity due to a lack of healing item.
- Tera Water is useful for turning turns Volcarona's Water-type weakness into a resistance allowing it to safely redirect Water-type moves from Basculegion-M and Pelipper (what moves? Mention specific examples). It also provides neutralities to types Volcarona was previously weak to such as Rock and Flying which allows Volcarona to safely redirect these hits without fear of being OHKOed (again, I would prefer you just to say that Tera Water is generally good into the meta, and maybe say how it retains resistances to Make It Rain or smth like that). However, Tera Water makes you Volcarona weak to Grass- and Electric-type moves such as Rillaboom's Wood Hammer and Archaludon's Electro Shot, the latter of which meaning Volcarona can be pinned by a rain team (IMO not necessary). Tera Grass allows Volcarona to become immune ignore powder moves from the aforementioned Pokemon Amoonguss and Jumpluff without the need for Safety Goggles. However, it makes Volcarona weak to common Fire-type attacks such as Hisuian-Typhlosion's Eruption (is this rrally common? I'd much rather you mention other Volcarona instead) and Incineroar's Flare Blitz. Additionally, it retains its weakness to Flying-type attacks meaning Volcarona can be KOed by a strong flying type attack such as Talonflame's Brave Bird, Pelipper's Hurricane or Tera Flying Unburden boosted (already implied) Sneasler Acrobatics.
-The EV spread on this Volcarona set allows it Volcarona to survive a Black Glasses Kowtow Cleave from Adamant Kingambit, and nearly always live a 5 hit Scale Shot from Adamant Dragonite on the physical side, whilst on the special side Volcarona has a high chance of surviving Tera Electric Electro Shot from Timid Archaludon and +2 Shadow Ball from 132 Special Attack Life Orb Gholdengo, whilst always being able to survive a -1 Tera Normal Life Orb Blood Moon from Ursaluna-Bloodmoon. The Speed EV's and a Timid nature allows Volcarona to outrun base 90 and base 95 Speed Pokemon such as Annihilape and Hisuian-Typhlosion whilst ensuring it at least speed ties with other base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Charizard (unnecessary info. Throughout this, you mention a lot of "almost survivals", can you find attacks that you are actually guaranteed to survive? DM me if you need help with this).
- Redirector Volcarona is a good support option able to lower the opponents Physical and Special Attack offensive prowess (before it implied that burn lowers physical attack which it doesn't; it cuts the power of physical moves) through Will-O-Wisp burn from Flame Body and Struggle Bug, provide speed control and threaten the formats many Grass-, Steel- and Ice-types (either you cut the Ice-type thing or you cut the " many"), however its typing leaves it with many weaknesses to common attacking typing such as Flying, Rock, Water, (you already state this so much, I doubt it is necessary here) compared to other redirectors such as Maushold and Amoonguss meaning it can go down quickly to a super effective attack. It also has poor physical bulk meaning strong neutral physical attacks such as Tera Dark Black Glasses Kowtow Cleave from Kingambit (this sounds like a lot of multipliers... Maybe choose something with less to accentuate how poor volcarona's physical bulk is?) can threaten to OHKO it.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Teambuilding
============
- Quiver Dance Volcarona is a staple of balance teams due to needing support to help it set up boosts to sweep games (this feels kinda like a negative about Volcarona IMO, phrase it to be a bit more positive, something like "...as it is able to abuse the support provided by allies such as Rillaboom and Incineroar so it can, in return, launch huge damage into a majority of the format") which balance teams can provide with Pokemon such as Incineroar and Rillaboom whilst in turn Volcarona can provide high offensive power for balance teams.
- (this new bullet should be the teams that support volcarona works well with; the format calls for them being next to each other, not a whole section on QD and a whole section on support completely separate)
- Quiver Dance Volcarona pairs excellently with Rillaboom as it provides Fake Out to help it Volcarona set up, Grass-type STAB to threaten the Water- and Rock-types that threaten Volcarona, particularly Primarina (not at all popular enough to be considered notable, something like Basculegion works way better. Also talk about how Rillaboom beats ursas) who can haze Volcarona's boosts, and Rillaboom's ground type coverage in High Horsepower can hit Fire-types such as Incineroar and Hisuian Arcanine for super effective damage that Volcarona would otherwise be unable to. (remove this entirely. Rillaboom does not do well AT ALL into Fire-types. High Horsepower isn't even typically slotted FOR Fire-types, but for STEEL-TYPES) Another great partner is Incineroar who can provide damage reduction in the form of Intimidate and Parting Shot, and offering Fake Out to allow Volcarona to set up.
- Alolan Ninetales can provide coverage to hit Dragon-types (such as? And with what?) without the need for Volcarona to Terastallize, speed control in the form of Icy Wind, and damage reduction in Aurora Veil. (I would talk about how A9 also does well into Rain teams by shutting down rain and using freeze dry to threaten basculegion and pelipper) Whilst Electabuzz provides redirection to help Volcarona set up, a resistance to Flying-type attacks, and an immunity to sleep to redirect Spores from Amoonguss and Jumpluff, to prevent them from interfering with Volcarona by putting it to sleep. (this should be its own bullet tbh)
-Kingambit acts as a strong physical threat that contrasts Volcarona high special damage on balance teams, discourages Incineroar from entering to lower Volcarona's Special Attack or disrupt it through Parting Shot, and Fake Out respectively through its Defiant ability. It can also hit Rock-types for super effective damage through its Steel-type STAB (is Kingambit really super notable as a partner for Volcarona? I feel like, considering the already staggering length of this analysis, this can be removed). Sneasler is another a common partner on these balance teams for Volcarona thanks to its ability to hit Rock-types (such as?) for super effective damage through Fighting-type STAB, hit and Incineroar for super effective damage with Close Combat, both of which who can disrupt Volcarona through the previously mentioned moves, and has Fake Out to help Volcarona set up. Sneasler can carry Fake Out as well, creating spaces for Volcarona to safely set up. (this needed a lot of cleaning up. Also, can you talk about Sneasler's matchup into Archaludon and the Ursa formes?)
-Basculegion-M is a great partner Pokemon for Volcarona as Basculegion-M can hit the Rock-types (is this really relevant, you talk about rock types way too much when really only ttar is viable and is hardly used at that. Maybe talk about Incineroar and the ursa formes instead) that threaten Volcarona for super effective damage while in turn Volcarona can hit the Grass-types (such as?) that threaten Basculegion-M for super effective damage. Dragonite is a useful ally for Volcarona as it can hit the opposing Dragon-types which resist Volcarona Fire STAB for super effective damage without Volcarona needing to Terastallize, like [insert example] hard with Scale Shot and provides speed control with Tailwind to allow it to move first and set up a Quiver Dance. (not really the most relevant IMO, talk about how Dragonite is a safe swap for Volcarona since it can easily switch in on powerful Water-type attacks from the likes of Dondozo and Bascuelgion)
-Quiver Dance Volcarona is however not without weaknesses as it can be outsped and KOed by faster Pokemon before it can set up such as Choice Specs Solar Power Charizard in sun, its frailness on the physical side can be exploited by strong physical attacker such as Sneasler and Tyranitar (there HAS to be other examples). Volcarona often needs to Terastallize to avoid being KOed which can be exploited (how so? Also talk about how setting up can be exploited via Encore from A9 and Whimsicott) in addition to requiring multiple turns of set up to accumulate Quiver Dance boosts.
- Redirector Volcarona pairs well with Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Excadrill (not popular enough, try Kingambit and Archaludon instead) and Ursaluna Bloodmoon all appreciate Volcarona's ability to redirect Grass-, Fairy-, Ground- (fairy isn't the most common offensively right now + volcarona can't safely redirect ground attacks), Steel- and Fighting-type moves which can threaten them for super effective damage huge damage. towards itself and Additonally, Volcarona can threaten the Grass-, Steel- and Ice-types who threaten them the aforementioned allies with super effective Fire STAB such as Rillaboom, Gholdengo and Alolan-Ninetales. Volcarona also pairs well with Tyranitar and Ursaluna Bloodmoon due to both having poor speed stats which can be helped by Volcarona's ability to set up Tailwind (this just isn't true). Ursaluna Bloodmoon's poor Special Defense stat can be improved through Volcarona's Struggle Bug weakening the opposing Special Attack of foes. (how do these Pokemon benefit Volcarona?)
(this whole archetype isn't seeing great results right now, talk about how Pokemon like maybe just Sneasler in particular help Volcarona instead)
(first of all, what water, rock, and flying types? Second of all, why mention electric moves if you don't say they threaten Flying? Thirdly, you have to cut back on the rock-type mentions from here on out; they aren't nearly as popular as Water- or even Flying-types and Volcarona suffers from much more glaring issues, like its heavy weakness to Rain and Dozogiri)
- Redirector Volcarona suffers from a typing which leaves it weak to many team styles such as rain, and common moves such as Wave Crash and Rock Slide from Basculegion-M and Hisuian Arcanine respectively, which means it can be forced to Terastallize or switch for it to survive otherwise it can end being KOed quickly (more often than not, Volcarona will just swap out). (and.... What Pokemon help with this?)

Strategy Comments
============
- Quiver Dance Volcarona main role is to be a sweeper by setting up multiple Quiver Dance's to take KOs on opposing Pokemon and win the entire game or take multiple KOs before it goes down creating a Pokemon advantage for the team in the punch holes in the opposing team for the late game. Volcarona shines with when paired with Fake Out, Intimidate and redirection support such as from the aforementioned Rillaboom, Incineroar and Electabuzz which can be lead alongside Volcarona to ensure it can set up multiple Quiver Dance's to where the opponent can't easily KO it and to where Volcarona can sweep. (and what does support Volcarona do? Where does it shine? This should be in the bullet below this one)
- Quiver Dance Volcarona is often either lead alongside a support Pokemon to set up Quiver Dances and sweep games (Volcarona is almost exclusively a late game Pokemon) or is kept in the back where in the late game it can set up and sweep through a weakened team. Certain matchups such as sun provide problematic match ups for Quiver Dance Volcarona as the Fire-type boosted attacks in the sun can often overpower its Quiver Dance boosts and KO quickly before it can get too many such as Charizard's Solar Power, sun boosted attacks and Hisuian-Typhlosion Tera Fire Choice Specs Eruption (sun isn't even that popular... Would rather see something like a Trick Room mention, where Pokemon lime Ursaluna can noe outspeed and KO Volcarona easily). (this isn't TRUE AT ALL!!! Rain is one of the hardest matchups for any Volcarona set easily.)
- Without Terastilization or with Giga Drain Tera Grass sets Volcarona is countered by Dragon-types such as Dragapult (again, try a different mention; dpult is too frail) and Dragonite who resist its Fire-type STAB and Grass-type coverage, with the latter being able to Haze away its boosts. This can be mitigated through Terastallization into a Fairy-Type utilizing Tera Fairy Blast or an Ice-type Pokemon such as Alolan Ninetales who can threaten Dragon-types with super effective damage and hit Dragonite for 4x super effective damage. With the Tera Fairy Blast set it can be Volcarona, without Giga Drain, is checked by Primarina who resists Volcarona's Heat Wave STAB, can threaten it with super effective Water-type damage (what moves?), and is specially bulky enough to take a Tera Fairy Blast and Haze to remove Volcarona boosts. Additionally, the Special Defense boost from the Tyranitar's ability Sand allows it take on Volcarona's super effective Giga Drain coverage while Hisuian-Arcanine resisting Volcarona's Tera Fairy Blast which makes it particularly effective in countering (is is counter or check? Before you say they Check Volcarona but now you say they counter it; pick one!!!) it. Water- and Grass-types such as Primarina and Rillaboom help Volcarona by hitting Rock-types for super effective damage with Rillaboom having Ground-type coverage for Hisuian-Arcanine although also being threatened by its Fire-type STAB. (you're reiterating yourself)
(the second half of this paragraph is not true at all. Like we said earlier, Tailwind isn't specifically for Ursaluna-B and Tyranitar; they typically don't even play in Tailwind. Excadrill also isn't popular enough at all to be shouted here. Volcarona truly shines when it can redirect attacks easily without being threatened and when spreading burn around with Flame Body against powerful physical attackers like Sneasler and Kingambit, mitigating their offensive capabilities)
(this is a given. You also fail to talk about damage mitigating here at all, which is surprising considering it is a huge reason why you would use Volcarona)
(I honestly think all of this could be condensed into one tiny point; super effective attacks like Rock Slide from Hisuian Arcanine, Weather Ball from Pelipper, and other strong attacks such as Facade from Ursaluna can all threaten to OHKO Volcarona due to its lacking defensive typing and poor physical defense. To counter this, partners like Sneasler and Rillaboom can easily take care of the Rock-, Water-, and Ground-types that stop Volcarona in its tracks. Additionally I want to see something talking about Taunt!)
