What ev spread should a gholdengo have on a grassy terrain team with grassy seed? Also my moves are
- Make it Rain
- Hex
- T-wave
- Recover
Is this good or should I change hex and T-wave to Nasty Plot and shadow ball? I also have Moltres in this team and flame body activates so it helps hex out.
EDIT: I ended up changing the move set to nasty shadow ball

Nasty Plot Shadow Ball definitely fits better. Grassy Seed Ghold is a bulky setup sweeper so you want to have strong breaking power. for EVs you could go spdef since you already have the defense boost from grassy seed or you could go full special attack and dump into HP
what are some ways sd garchomp can be used without being a downgrade to dragonite, kyurem or great tusk on HO
Garchomp has a surprising mix of raw power and speed that the others can't match. I'm not a fan of SD Scale Shot sets because that move is ass and Chomp isn't that great of a sweeper. It's better fitted to serve as a breaker imo. Life Orb sets can force big damage on Tusk, Lando, and Gliscor and threaten Corv and Mola with the help of SD. Rocky Helmet alternatively serves as a trade mon that takes down physical attackers, while it is free to run hazards if it wants. This isn't an endorsement of TankChomp btw; I think max attack and speed is the way to go without facing competition from other Ground types.
As for why you would use Chomp over the others, Chomp has a great speed tier for breaking (can afford Adamant as well) with it out speeding Kyurem and fast Zapdos while not compromising any power. It's rock resistant unlike Dragonite and Kyurem, so it has more item freedom and requires less team support. As a hazard setter, it beats all but Corv and Ace, unlike Ting Lu which must trade with hazard removers, Tusk which often would like to run other moves and doesn't really like opposing Tusk, and Lando which really only beats Corv and Hatt.
Chomp does have its flaws however. It is unfortunately much slower than other offense staples like Oger, Rai, Zama, Val, and Pult, all of which threaten big damage. It's also a Ground type that cannot switch into Bolt, a responsibility often left to Grounds on HO. And maybe the biggest flaw is that it stacks weaknesses and overlaps with several offense staples. Garchomp locks you out of Lando, Tusk, and Ting Lu, mons with much more utility for HO teams, as well as introducing another Fairy and Ice weakness to the team, making it difficult to pair with other Dragons, Darks, and Fighting types.
In case I want to run AoA Zamazenta but already have hazard removal on my team, can I opt for Assault Vest Zamazenta?
AV Zama is a fine pick if you already have hazard removal yeah, especially if you dont have a sturdy check to special attackers like darkrai or iron moth
Could try Expert Belt as well on 4A sets.
Which team structures does Fast Taunt Ting-Lu fit on?
I've seen a lot of HO screens deo do well in tour recently and wanted to try out my self so I have a couple questions.
1. I see a lot of the teams use iron moth so what sets the best with screens? Booster + sub, Booster + 4 attack, specs, or scarf?
2. I have Tera flying dnite on the team and was wondering if I should have roost instead of espeed?
3. What's the best form of hazard removal for this type of team? I have scarf tusk but it isn't working well.
4. On my deo, I have screens, stealth rocks and knock but should I have psycho boost instead of knock?

garchomp does well with screens especially on veil teams also garchomp has a very good speed tier to abuse webs
Hyper Offense or teams that necessitate a hazard of their own + stoppping of opposing hazards while also chipping things like Corviknight, Tusk, etc — losing the bulk you want on balance and forcing the immediate progress with fast TauntRuin goes a long way early on, but doesn’t help longer term as much. Really just see it on offense given this.
The main beneficiaries wouldn’t be other Ogerpon forms, who at best see minor gains. Other physical attackers in general see a big boost and then things Ogerpon can suffocate like Alomomola or utility Gliscor probably benefit predominantly. You may also see even more Walking Wake on Sun or Barraskewda on Rain opt to run choice items rather than be able to swap moves due to lack of Water Absorb.
1. Depends on team — I think the general standard to this day is Sub3A with speed booster, especially on these types of HO. I would avoid choiced in general outside of maybe Sun teams — locking into a move on HO comes with a ton of risk and no move Iron Moth has is super spammable due to resists/immunities being rather common. If you are Webs rather than Screens/Veil, special attack booster is worthwhile.
2. Depends on team really. I tend to see and use a lot more Roost or Encore (alongside DD EQ TB) on Tera Fly Dragonite — ESpeed is really only there to revenge kill weakened Pokemon and it’s less common on HO than other archetypes probably. I would say Roost given the limited info you provided, but also urge you to proceed with caution if using both Iron Moth and TB Fly Nite if Iron Moth is TB especially as you can only maximize one in any given game then — best to be calculated about how you intend to exhaust those resources after all.
3. Glimmora, Booster Speed Tusk, and maybe Booster Attack Treads — Hatterene has some cool options with HWish to deflect hazards on certain HO teams, too. Would avoid Choice Scarf Tusk on this in particular. It offers a lot of novelty as a general surprise value set, but locking into Rapid Spin or a STAB with immunities on HO can lead to things snowballing outside of your control even if Tusk gets the initial hit off well.
4. Taunt is common there to prevent setup and preventative measures. There is a world where you pair screens with Psycho Boost though. Knock Off doesn’t seem too easy or likely to fit barring extenuating circumstances though.
I want to suggest a thread with the history of all the suspect tests in the forums of the OU.
in the thread for the "shared power" format there is a part that has a complete list with every single suspect test that has ever happened in that meta game's history with links to each suspect test.
something like that should exist in other metagames as well.
it helps the newcomers to see how things have changed over the years and also let us speculate on if a suspect test has a chance of happening soon or not by seeing how active or inactive the counsil is.
I initially posted this suggestion on the "forum suggestions and improvements" and giagantic told me to post it here

This question may be hard to answer but I'm wondering if someone would please try to answer the following ?
Between these two samples - Substitute Kyurem + Dondozo Balance by Blimax and CTC (edit) & Removal Stall by 143forever (edit by Xuwu)
How does the Balance team beat the Stall team ? What's the wincon and what's the general strategy (or stratagies) that would open up the wincon vs the Stall?

The balance team might even have the edge here. Its wincon is to pivot with Galarian Slowking while pressuring Dondozo with Kyurem. The balance team would have an easier time if it had Body Press on Kyurem, but that's not essential. There's enough for the balance player to frustrate the stall player with Glowking + hazard reversal alone by counter stalling back.
