Lapras: koista12, Gravity Monkey, Steel With It
Rotom: ToadBrigade, Origin0, Brodaha
Articuno: Scoopapa, Origin0, Sereg

Slate 8 Winners:

Congrats to Gravity Monkey for winning with Preciosaur, and Origin0 for winning with Rotogeist and Artizzard:

Original Pokemon Name: Lapras
New Pokemon Name: Preciosaur (Plesiosaur + Precious)
Evolution Method: Level 53
Type:

Abilities: Water Absorb / Shell Armor / Slush Rush
Stats: 150 / 94 / 85 / 94 / 97 / 45 (BST: 565)
Move Additions: Draco Meteor, Pain Split, Defog, Agility
Competitive Niche (OU): A juggernaut. It can easily take hits, and respond with powerful moves. It can play a lot of different sets, going from Dragon Dance to defensive pivot to Agility to TR abuser to Hail sweeper? Also, water/dragon is one of the best defensive typings of the game, so he sure likes that.

Original Pokemon Name: Rotom
New Pokemon Name: Rotogeist (Rotom + geist/ghost)
Evolution Method: Evolves by using a Dusk Stone
Type:
Normal forme:

AC forme:

Freezer forme:

Oven forme:

Chainsaw forme:

Tank forme:

Ability: Levitate
Stats:
Normal forme: 65 / 50 / 87 / 120 / 87 / 111 | BST: 520 (+15 HP, +10 Def, +25 SpA, +10 SpD, +20 Spe, +80 BST)
Alternate formes: 65 / 65 / 127 / 115 / 127 / 96 | BST: 600 (+15 HP, +20 Def, +10 SpA, +20 SpD, +10 Spe, +80 BST)
Move Additions: Plasma Jolt*, Moonblast, Flash Cannon, Recover
Plasma Jolt: Electric-type Vacuum Wave
Competitive Niche (OU/Ubers): Rotogeist has multiple formes just like its prevo. Rotogeist-Normal is a fast special attacker that gets new moves like its signature special Electric priority. The alternate formes are slower but much bulkier, and they gain reliable recovery which can allow them to function as bulky attackers or pivots. Rotogeist-Tank may have a niche in Ubers, being immune to Precipice Blades and resistant to Fire allows it to wear down Primal Groudon with Foul Play and Recover.

Original Pokemon Name: Articuno
New Pokemon Name: Artizzard (Arctic + blizzard)
Evolution Method: Evolves by leveling up past level 40 while holding Never-Melt Ice
Type:

Ability: Pressure / Snow Cloak (HA)
Stats: 70 / 40 / 60 / 55 / 85 / 50 | BST: 360 (-20 HP, -45 Atk, -40 Def, -40 SpA, -40 SpD, -35 Spe, -220 BST)
Move Subtractions: N/A
Competitive Niche (LC): Artizzard is very bulky in LC, allowing it to attempt PP-stalling opponents with Pressure and Roost. Freeze-Dry hits Water-types like Chinchou super effectively while Hurricane hits Fighting-types like Timburr and Mienfoo. Hidden Power-Fire can be used to hit Steel-types like Magnemite, or Artizzard can be a bulky pivot with U-turn.
Next slate will be up soon!

Slate 9: Powers of Two

Plusle and Minun: These two are made for each other, so we will be making and voting for them as a pair. You have a lot of leeway to make them interesting, just try to keep them balanced. Remember this is an OU mod, much weaker than Type Optimization or Crossover Chaos.
Maximum Ability Ranking: 4.5
Maximum Movepool Additions: 5
Maximum BST: 530

Kangaskhan: This one has a lot of potential. We already have a few Normal-types in the meta but I bet Kangaskhan will come out quite differently to them.
Maximum Ability Ranking: 3
Maximum Movepool Additions: 4

Zapdos: Number two by name and yet number one in our hearts.

After this round of posting and voting I think we're going to have a discussion phase about nerfing some things. Currently on my radar are Myzteri and Zycresi ( Unown evos ), Combustoise ( Turtonator evo ) and Psychoglyph and Glyphite ( Sigilyph evos, moreso Psychoglyph ). Feel free to post any thoughts on them now, or wait until the discussion phase.

It seems these are all my own creations that need nerfing. I’ll make sure to suggest nerfs during discussion phase (though removing Tail Glow from Myzteri and Zycresi is an obvious nerf I would be willing to say right now). And I’ll also make sure my future subs aren’t too overpowered!

Original Pokemon Name: Plusle
New Pokemon Name: Pluspadre (plus + compadre, Spanish for godfather or friend)
Evolution Method: Level up past level 30 with Minun in the party
Type:

Ability: Plus / Fight On* (HA)
Fight On - Stamina clone for SpA
Stats: 70 / 70 / 55 / 105 / 90 / 110 | BST: 500 (+10 HP, +20 Atk, +15 Def, +20 SpA, +15 SpD, +15 Spe, +95 BST)
Move Additions: Healing Wish, Focus Blast, Dazzling Gleam, Knock Off, Foul Play
Competitive Niche (OU): Fast Nasty Plot sweeper. The more offensive counterpart to Minamigo, Pluspadre's ability gives it special attack boosts when it gets hit. Fortunately for its opponent, Pluspadre doesn't have the best bulk, especially physically.

Original Pokemon Name: Minun
New Pokemon Name: Minamigo (minus + amigo, Spanish for friend)
Evolution Method: Level up past level 30 with Plusle in the party
Type:

Ability: Minus / Cheer On* (HA)
Cheer On - Stamina clone for SpD
Stats: 70 / 55 / 70 / 90 / 105 / 110 | BST: 500 (+10 HP, +15 Atk, +20 Def, +15 SpA, +20 SpD, +15 Spe, +95 BST)
Move Additions: Healing Wish, Focus Blast, Dazzling Gleam, Knock Off, Foul Play
Competitive Niche (OU): Also a fast Nasty Plot sweeper, but more defensive than Pluspadre. Minamigo accumulates special defense boosts when hit, meaning it can become specially tanky it it's taken hits.

Original Pokemon Name: Kangaskhan
New Pokemon Name: Khanperor (khan + emperor)
Evolution Method: Use a Dawn Stone when past level 40
Type:

Ability: Early Bird / Scrappy / Reckless (HA)
Stats: 115 / 120 / 90 / 40 / 90 / 105 | BST: 560 (+10 HP, +25 Atk, +10 Def, +10 SpD, +15 Spe, +70 BST)
Move Additions: Morning Sun, Superpower, Stone Edge, Knock Off
Competitive Niche (OU): While it shares its STAB combo with Mega Lopunny, Khanperor maintains a niche as a bulky attacker, while still having a decent speed tier. Reckless provides extra power to Double-Edge, though Scrappy is still a superior ability since it prevents Ghosts from blocking its STAB moves.
==========
New Pokemon Name: Kangasking (kangaroo + king)
Evolution Method: Use a Dusk Stone when past level 40
Type:

Ability: Early Bird / Scrappy / Bulletproof (HA)
Stats: 130 / 105 / 100 / 40 / 100 / 85 | BST: 560 (+25 HP, +10 Atk, +20 Def, +20 SpD, -5 Spe, +70 BST)
Move Additions: Moonlight, Will-O-Wisp, Spikes, Memento
Competitive Niche (OU): Kangasking is a more defensive evolution than Khanperor, with more support options and a defensive ability in Bulletproof, as if having three immunities wasn't enough.

Original Pokemon Name: Zapdos
New Pokemon Name: Zaplet (zap + eaglet)
Evolution Method: Leveling up past level 40 while holding Magnet
Type:

Ability: Pressure / Static (HA)
Stats: 55 / 45 / 55 / 75 / 60 / 70 | BST: 360 (-35 HP, -45 Atk, -30 Def, -50 SpA, -30 SpD, -30 Spe, -220 BST)
Move Subtractions: N/A
Competitive Niche (LC): Zaplet is a fast special attacker with good mixed bulk and reliable recovery. However, it faces competition with Electric-types like Magnemite and Chinchou, who don't have Stealth Rock weaknesses, have usable secondary STABs, and have useful abilities or typings. Zaplet really wishes it had a special Flying STAB for the tier's many Fighting types.

It's all good, please don't take it personally! I remember that the competing subs in those rounds were mostly just as strong, so it was more a matter of power creep in the thread than something you did wrong. Keep up the good work!

(Evolved when levelled up in a battle with Minun as a teammate)
New Pokemon Name: Protyve (positive corruption)
Type:

New Moves: Hold Hands, Flamethrower, Fire Blast,
Ability: Plus, Flammable Hazard (If the target uses a Water-type move, the electrical fire deals 12.5% damage to the target; mix of Storm Drain and Powder)
Stats: 75 / 60 / 50 / 120 / 85 / 125 (515 BST)
Competitive Niche: Don't use Water on an electrical fire! The more offensive of the Cheering duo becomes one of the best counters to Water types, being immune to Water type attacks and having super effective STAB against it. This particularly deters defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Suicune from spamming Scald and promoting a more offensive play style. Posityve also enjoys a great offensive movepool options including dual dance sets, omni-boosting with Z-Hold Hands, as well as good offensive stats to run all out attacking sets as well as support moves such as Encore and Nuzzle. Poor defensive and typing along with shallow coverage stop Posityve from overpowering offensive matchups.

(Evolved when levelled up in a battle with Plusle as a teammate)
New Pokemon Name: Negatyve (negative corruption)
Type:

New Moves: Hold Hands, Scald, Recover
Ability: Minus, Electrolysis (Boosts Defence and Special Defence stat by one stage when hit by an Electric-type move; based on Water Compaction)
Stats: 75 / 50 / 120 / 60 / 125 / 85 (515 BST)
Competitive Niche: As the defensive counterpart to Protyve, Negatyve doesn't have much offensive presence but a very formidable defensive prowess. While many similarities to Rotom-W can be made, Negatyve has two things Rotom-W does not (on top of higher defensive stats): Scald and Recover. Thunder Wave and Volt Switch users will be put on notice since after a defensive boost, Negatyve can avoid being 2HKO'd by offensive threats, even some variants of Lando-T and Zygarde.

(evolved when levelled up in party without any fully evolved Pokemon)
New Pokemon Name: Bigred (those buff kangaroos are sometimes called big reds)
Type:

New Moves: Mach Punch, Quick Attack, Balanced Charge (Fighting type Beak Bast clone; lowers target's defence if target makes contact during move)
Ability: Vital Spirit, Scrappy, Analytic
Stats: 110 / 135 / 95 / 55 / 95 / 75 (565 BST)
Competitive Niche: Why use a slower version of Mega Lopunny? Because Bigred is able to hit harder than M-Lopunny due to Analytic and has great bulk to compensate its below average speed as well as synergise with its ability. Balanced Charged has amazing wall breaking potential under the right conditions, even being able to easily 2HKO a physically defensive Tangrowth under the right circumstances. Having access to elemental punches and Normal/Fight coverage means that common defensive checks will be shaky at best but lack of reliable recovery means Bigred will not be able to defeat multiple Pokemon easily due taking hits first most of the time. Access to STAB priority can mean as well as Scrappy can allow Bigred to be an alternative late game sweeper.

Evolves when levelled up in an electric place (Power Plant, Blush Mountain, etc.) at level 50+.
New Pokemon Name: Zapundo (Zapdos + Spanish for second)
Type:

Removed Moves: Zap Cannon, Heat Wave
Ability: Pressure, Static
Stats:
55 / 50 / 50 / 100 / 40 /70 (365 BST)
Competitive Niche: Zapundo hits hard and fast but most importantly is now the premier fast, electric type in LC; with a Ground immunity to boot. No Heatwave really hinders Zapundo's coverage but as with most Electric types, Bolt-beam coverage is adequate. Not being able to be trapped by Diglett allows Zapundo to spam Discharge freely, dealing substantial damage to a lot of the tier while fishing for burns.

Original Pokemon Name: Plusle
New Pokemon Name: Resistron (Resistor + Proton)
Evolution Method: Trade for Minun
Type:

Ability: Plus / Snow Warning
Stats: 80 / 60 / 50 / 120 / 95 / 120 (525 BST)
Move Additions: Icy Wind, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Aurora Veil, Final Gambit
Competitive Niche (OU): BLIZZARD SPAM. Resistron outspeeds much of the tier, packs STAB BoltBeam and has both Nasty Plot and Volt Switch in its arsenal, although it's balanced out by its extreme weakness to Scarfers and priority users. It can also opt to support its team with a dedicated Aurora Veil set, separating itself from Ninetales-A with its neutrality to Steel and ability to pivot.

Resistron @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Timid Nature
- Blizzard
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Fire / Hidden Power Ground
- Nasty Plot

1. Remove Scarfers and priority users, 2. Watch things die.

Resistron @ Choice Specs / Choice Scarf
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Timid Nature
- Blizzard
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power Fire / Hidden Power Ground / Final Gambit / Aurora Veil

Final Gambit and Aurora Veil are interesting options to either remove a dangerous threat or set up a last-ditch screen, but Resistron generally prefers the extra coverage.

Resistron @ Light Clay
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Spe / 8 SpA
Timid Nature
- Aurora Veil
- Blizzard
- Encore / Nuzzle
- Volt Switch

Trades Ninetales' higher Defense, Pursuit resistance and access to Freeze-Dry for Resistron's higher Speed, Steel neutrality and access to Volt Switch. Honestly, you can run anything you want in the third slot, but Encore and paralysis support are always nice to have.

Original Pokemon Name: Minun
New Pokemon Name: Conductron (Conductor + Electron)
Evolution Method: Trade for Plusle
Type:

Ability: Minus / Drought
Stats: 80 / 50 / 60 / 95 / 120 / 120 (525 BST)
Move Additions: Lava Plume, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Will-O-Wisp, Healing Wish
Competitive Niche (OU): Conductron brings to sun what Pelipper brought to rain - a setter with both recovery and a pivoting move - while also threatening Pelipper itself with its Electric STAB. Similarly to Pelipper, Conductron usually takes advantage of its natural bulk and key resistances by running a defensive set, but can also abuse its excellent dual STABs to go on the offensive with a surprise Choice set.

Conductron @ Heat Rock / Shuca Berry
Ability: Drought
EVs: 248 HP / 124 SpD / 136 Spe
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Volt Switch
- Wish
- Protect

The given EV spread creeps Jolly Lando-T, but feel free to run more or less Speed.

Conductron @ Choice Specs / Choice Scarf
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot / Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Healing Wish

Despite being weaker than its counterpart, Conductron still boasts Fire STAB and access to Healing Wish. Grass Knot helps the matchup against opposing weathers by hitting Mega Swampert, Tyranitar and Hippowdon.

Loosely based on the idea of wiring something up backwards - one froze and the other overheated. =P Their colours are swapped, with Resistron being blue and Conductron being red, and I apologise for the terrible pun.

New Pokemon Name: Cathiom ( Cation/Cathode + Pom Pom )
Type:

New Moves: Flash Cannon, Iron Head, Focus Blast, Metal Sound, Magnet Rise
Ability: Plus / Surge Surfer | Drizzle
Stats: 65 / 75 / 85 / 90 / 100 / 110 | BST: 525
Competitive Niche: This should have a niche as a Tapu Koko counter as well as a Drizzle setter that isn't weak to Electric. It can also deal with Toxapex and Ferrothorn ( if running Focus Blast ) which is a boon for Rain teams. Although 90 SpA isn't much, with Electric Terrain, Modest nature, and Life Orb, it should be enough to do some damage at +2. Of course, it also pairs decently with Aniom, despite the double Ground weakness, being able to set Rain for it or abuse its Electric Terrain.

New Pokemon Name: Aniom ( Anion + Pom Pom )
Type:

New Moves: Swords Dance, Liquidation, Hydro Pump, Volt Tackle, Drain Punch
Ability: Minus / Swift Swim | Electric Surge
Stats: 110 / 100 / 90 / 85 / 75 / 65 | BST: 525
Competitive Niche: A bulky setter of Electric Terrain as well as an Electric-type Swift Swim abuser give this some niches it can utilize. Electric/Water/Fighting coverage means it can also deal with Rain's biggest nuisances, Toxapex and Ferrothorn. Volt Tackle in Electric Terrain will hit very hard, as well, hopefully giving this guy a niche over Tapu Koko. It pairs with Cathiom by either setting Terrain or abusing its weather.

New Pokemon Name: Matilla ( Maternal + Atilla the Hun )
Type:

New Moves: Swords Dance, Head Charge, Stealth Rock,
Ability: Early Bird / Scrappy | Unaware
Stats: 115 / 125 / 85 / 50 / 85 / 105 | BST: 565
Competitive Niche: A bulky Swords Dance sweeper or Choice Bander with an amazing STAB move in Scrappy Head Charge, priority in Sucker Punch, and pretty decent coverage options in Earthquake, Hammer Arm, and Fire Punch. It's a pretty big threat to many defensive cores, though it can struggle with Steel-types depending on what coverage it's running. A Z-Fighting set with Hammer Arm could smash cores relying on Ferrothorn/Heatran/Toxapex if played right. It also makes a decent stall pokemon as its defenses are pretty high for an Unaware pokemon, and it has Wish to provide support and recovery.

New Pokemon Name: Thundos
Type:

Removed Moves:
Ability: Pressure / Static
Stats: 60 / 40 / 55 / 80 / 60 / 65 | BST: 360
Competitive Niche: An attempt to keep the same BST as Artizzard and the same overall stat bias as Zapdos. This will probably play very similarly to Zapdos is OU.

Voting will open in around 24 hours. If you haven't made a submission for Kangaskhan or Zapdos, and you intend to, try to do it within that time!

Voting is now Open

Unfortunately we didn't get very many subs this time. That said we have some new faces ( for this thread ) so there is still hope for Evos for Everyone. I still think it's a good idea to keep things moving along at a good pace. I also think it may be time to do some coding and playtesting soon, as we have more than 20 new pokemon already and alongside the rest of OU that should be more than enough to be interesting. Hopefully that would get people more interested in this project!

And here are your options:
Plusle and Minun:
Origin0
ToadBrigade
Steel With It
Scoopapa
Kangaskhan:
Origin0
ToadBrigade
Scoopapa
Zapdos:
Origin0
ToadBrigade
Scoopapa

As always, good luck to everyone!

Plusle and Minun: Scoopapa, Origin0, ToadBrigade
Kangaskhan: ToadBrigade, Scoopapa, Origin0
Zapdos: Scoopapa, Origin0, ToadBrigade

Plusle and Minun: Origin0, Scoopapa, Steel With It
Kanghaskhan: Scoopapa, Origin0, ToadBrigade
Zapdos: ToadBrigade, Scoopapa, Origin0

Sorry for not submitting this time, I was on vacation and only got back today.

Plusle and Minun: ToadBrigade, Steel With It, Scoopapa
Kanghaskhan: Origin0, Scoopapa, ToadBrigade
Zapdos: ToadBrigade, Origin0, Scoopapa

Edit: I've made it through most of the coding so this mod should be playable soon!
