I will remove Earth Power for Magmortar so that Toxapex and Heatran can properly wall it, and will replace Technician by Mold Breaker (because Hidden Power Ground can be boosted by Technician). Also, I will reduce Quick Burst's BP to 40 BP because of Nasty Plot. I will also reduce Phione's Speed to a more reasonable level as well.

It was a long time I didn't submitted in a Pet Mod anyways. Tell me if I missed something.
It still has Focus Blast for Heatran, but since Toxapex is prevalent in the OU metagame, I think it's balanced right now.

Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +18 Def, -30 SpAtk, +12 SpD, +40 Spe (Mega: +20 HP, +28 Def, -40 SpAtk, +22 SpD, +30 Spe)
Overview: Banette's high Attack and Tough Claws-boosted moves, like Return and Poltergeist, make it work as a wallbreaker. Its Mega, while still having high offensive stats, can take a more defensive approach with priority moves like Will-o-Wisp and Destiny Bond and an interesting defensive typing.

Raichu [Optimized]
Abilities: Static / Breakdown* / Lightning Rod
Stats: 70/110/55/90/80/130 (535)
Added Moves: Waterfall (and can learn Surf, Extreme Speed and Fly without event)
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +20 Atk, +20 Speed
Optimized Raichu is oriented heavily around Volt Tackle, the line's signature move. A boost to HP makes Volt Tackle slightly less suicidal, and Attack and Speed boosts make Raichu better as a physical attacker. Breakdown makes Volt Tackle more spammable. Also, it gets some event moves by default.

*Breakdown - Electric moves can hit Ground-types

Wigglytuff [Optimized]
Abilities: Jigglypuff's Song*
Stats: 150/90/75/95/80/45 (535)
Added Moves: Boomburst, Moonblast
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +20 Atk, +30 Def, +10 SpA, +30 SpD
You think Primarina's powerful Boomburst is scary? Meet Wigglytuff's 100% Sleep Chance Boomburst.

*Jigglypuff's Song: All sound moves put the target to sleep (This is still affected by Sleep Clause)
Can Jigglypuff's Song please get some form of nerf? A 210 BP attack after STAB that puts stuff to sleep is extremely annoying to face, and would force teams to run Sleep Talk + a Ghost type to challenge it.

Don't underestimate the power of Stakeout:
252 Atk Stakeout Choice Band Drapion Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Registeel: 332-392 (86.4 - 102%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Stakeout Choice Band Drapion Knock Off (195 BP) vs. 248 HP / 104+ Def Celesteela: 363-427 (91.4 - 107.5%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Stakeout Choice Band Drapion Knock Off (195 BP) vs. 252 HP / 92 Def Ferrothorn: 331-391 (94 - 111%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
-1 252 Atk Stakeout Choice Band Drapion Ice Fang vs. 252 HP / 240+ Def Landorus-Therian: 420-496 (109.9 - 129.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Stakeout Choice Band Drapion Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 328-388 (107.8 - 127.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Stakeout Choice Band Drapion Knock Off (195 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Dunsparce: 348-409 (78.3 - 92.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Stakeout Choice Band Drapion Poison Jab vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mandibuzz: 235-277 (53 - 62.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Drapion can simply switch in repeatedly on Psychic and other choice-locked mons to basically eliminate whatever opponent comes in next, given the player predicts right. There's a reason why Gumshoos isn't that powerful - Stakeout is a broken ability.
Thanks for this, I've changed the ability to Tough Claws in order to be less broken.

Luxray

Ability: Abilities - Strong Jaw / Intimidate / (Moxie)
Stats - 110 HP +30 / 125 Atk +5 / 104 Def +25 / 55 SpA -40 / 104 SpD +25 / 70 Spe ±0 / 568 BST +45
Added Moves - Plasma Crunch*, Corrupt Lockjaw**, Psychic Fangs, Poison Fang, Recover, Swords Dance, Agility, Hone Claws
Plasma Crunch |
|
| 80 BP | 100% Acc | 15 PP | 20% Chance to burn or paralyze (Like Tri-Attack) | Bite, Contact, Mirror, Protect
Corrupt Lockjaw |
|
| 80 BP | 100% Acc | 10 PP | Traps the target | Bite, Contact, Mirror, Protect
Role Identification - Thanks to these buffs, Luxray can fulfill many roles. The added Dark typing gives it a weakness to Fairy, Fighting and Bug, but gives it a resistance to Dark and Ghost, and an immunity to Psychic. The added resistances and immunities make it better on defense as a bulky mon, but also give it STAB on Corrupt Lockjaw and Crunch. Luxray can now run Agility, Swords Dance, Hone Claws and Recover as status moves, letting become a much better setup mon, as well as being bulky with recover. Plasma Crunch gives it a STAB option instead of Thunder Fang or Wild Charge, and Corrupt Lockjaw gives it a STAB alternative over Crunch, as they both have the same BP. I also gave it all the fang moves it didn't already have so it can abuse Strong Jaw. It can also use Intimidate to become physically bulkier, and Moxie to start rolling over the other team.

Torterra

Ability: Abilities - Overgrow / (Regenerator)
Stats - 120 HP +25 / 119 Atk +10 / 105 Def ±0 / 55 SpA -20 / 105 SpD +20 / 26 Spe -30 / 530 BST +5
Added Moves - Ingrain, Spikes, Shell Smash, Gyro Ball, Head Smash, Bulk Up
Role Identification - Torterra now loses speed and SpA to gain a lot of special bulk, and a little bit of physical bulk, aswell as a tiny attack boost. It now gains Spikes as a small hazard buff, but it's pretty much useless compared to SR. Gyro Ball complements it's new nerfed speed, Head Smash gives it a new STAB that has ridiculously good damage. That being said, Grass / Rock is an improved defensive typing (sorta), losing it's 4x weakness to ice, and it's weakness to Fire and Flying for a weakness to Fighting and Steel. This lets it set up swords dance much easier should it choose to run it. Regenerator lets it switch out after recoil from Wood Hammer / Head Smash and gain back some of the health it lost.

Umbreon

Ability: Abilities - Synchronize / (Magic Guard)
Stats - 100 HP +5 / 60 Atk -5 / 130 Def +20 / 75 SpA +15 / 130 SpD ±0 / 75 Spe +10 / 570 BST +45
Added Moves - Psycho Shift, Recover, Parting Shot, Punishment, Haze
Role Identification - Umbreon now has better bulk, which should make it better at what it does, stalling. I swapped it's attack and SpA so it'd be slightly stronger against Foul Play and it's variants. Magic Guard now prevents Umbreon being stalled itself, which is another massive help. I stuck to the monotype as to stick to eeveelution traditions. Recover gives it reliable recovery that doesn't get screwed over by weather, Psycho Shift lets it use a similar tactic as Sigilyph, but also lets it get rid of any status it doesn't want like paralysis. Parting Shot lets it pivot out if it needs to, and weaken opponents. Punishment is rather weak coming off of 60 base attack, but could be useful in some situations. And Haze lets it stop setup sweepers. It's 100/130/130 bulk is very good, but as shown by some mons, it's not impossible to break through.

252 Atk Hitmonlee (Scarf) High Jump Kick vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Umbreon: 356-420 (88.3 - 104.2%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Azelf Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Umbreon: 312-368 (77.4 - 91.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Beedrill Stinger Storm (5 hits) vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Umbreon: 310-370 (76.9 - 91.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Spinda Stumble Punch vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Umbreon: 218-258 (54 - 64%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Atk Spinda Stumble Punch vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Umbreon: 324-384 (80.3 - 95.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Arbok
Type:
Poison/Dragon
Ability: Intimidate/Shed Skin (Adaptability)
Stats: 90/110/89/50/99/95 (557)
Summary of Stat changes: +30/+15/+20/-15/+20/+15
Added Moves: Dragon Rush, Outrage, Dragon Dance, Draco Meteor, Dragon Hammer
Role Identification: Where Dragalge was special, Arbok is physical both defensively and offensively. A poison/Dragon typing is decent defensively, and Intimidate helps that role. Adaptability though lets you choose to hit hard with either DD Outrage or Dragon Hammer with Gunk Blast or Poison Jab depending on if you want risk vs. Reward. Or you use Coil with Dragon Rush and Gunk Blast and don't even worry about accuracy at all, adding either a Fang, Quake or Stone Edge if you need that coverage.

You could instead opt for Glare to spread paralysis.

Muk
Type:
Poison
Ability: Regenerator/Intimidate (Corrosive)
Stats: 115/115/100/50/110/50 (total 540)
Summary of Stat changes: +10/+10/+25/-15/+10/0
Added Moves: Drain Punch, Leech Seeds, Play Rough, Toxic Spikes, Earthquake
Role Identification: While still slow as shit, and without the added resists of its Alolan counterpart, oldschool Muk has much more potential. Whether its being stally with a poison type and 115/100/110 stats, or having Drain Punch and Leech Seeds, or having solid abilities to help it either last or get around the Steels that think they can get in without getting poisoned, Muk has a lot of abilitative use it didn't before.

Sceptile [Optimized]
Abilities: Overgrow / Unburden
Mega Ability: Sheer Force

Summary of Changes: +25 Atk, +10 Def, -25 SpA, -10 Spe (Base: +65 SpA, +35 Spe)
Description: Regular Sceptile is a great option with Tapu Koko, as it can abuse Unburden with Swords Dance. Mega Sceptile is a great wallbreaker with Sheer Force-boosted Energy Balls, Earth Powers, and Focus Blasts.

Banette [Optimized]
Abilities: Insomnia / Frisk / Tough Claws
Mega Ability: Power Surge (Paralysis clone of Merciless)
Stats: 70/115/70/85/70/90
Mega Stats: 70/125/90/125/100/90

Summary of Changes: +6 HP, +5 Def, +2 SpA, +7 SpD, +25 Spe
Mega: +6 HP, -40 Atk, +15 Def, +32 SpA, +17 SpD, +5 Spe (Base: +10 Atk, +20 Def, +40 SpA, +30 SpD)
Description: Banette is a physical wallbreaker with its Tough Claws-boosted Knock Offs and Sucker Punches. Banette-Mega can abuse Power Surge with Discharge and Hex.

Steelix [Optimized]
Abilities: Rock Head / Sturdy / Sheer Force
Mega Ability: Iron Barbs
Stats: 75/55/140/115/95/30
Mega Stats: 75/55/190/125/135/30
Added Moves: Shore Up, Ice Beam
Summary of Changes: -30 Atk, -60 Def, +60 SpA, +30 SpD
Mega: -70 Atk, -40 Def, +70 SpA, +40 SpD
Description: Steelix is a powerful special wallbreaker, while Steelix-Mega is a bulky physical wall that can take advantage of sand with Shore Up.

Audino [Optimized]
Abilities: Healer / Regenerator / Klutz
Mega Ability: Misty Surge
Stats: 100/60/90/60/100/50
Mega Stats: 100/60/120/110/120/50
Added Moves: Moonblast, Parting Shot, Stealth Rock
Summary of Changes: -3 HP, +4 Def, +14 SpD
Mega: -3 HP, -6 Def, +30 SpA, -6 SpD
Description: Audino is a formidable defensive pivot that can use Assault Vest with Knock Off, Flamethrower, Moonblast, and U-Turn, or Leftovers with Wishpassing. Mega Audino is an option for bulky offense teams with Misty Surge supporting its team by preventing burns.

Gardevoir [Optimized]
Abilities
: Synchronize / Trace / Pixilate (HA)
Stats: 80 HP / 55 Atk / 80 Def / 125 SpA / 115 SpD / 100 Spe | BST: 555
Added Moves: Earth Power
Summary of Changes: +12 HP, -10 Atk, +15 Def, +20 Spe

Gardevoir's low physical bulk and moderate speed left it vulnerable to many revenge killers, priority users, and physical attackers. Its Mega was heavily outclassed by Tapu Lele. Optimized Gardevoir gains a new typing to separate it from Tapu Lele, as well as buffs to its speed and physical bulk. Earth Power lets it beat grounded Steel-types without relying on Focus Blast.

Altaria [Optimized]
Abilities
: Natural Cure / Pixilate (HA)
Stats: 75 HP / 120 Atk / 90 Def / 70 SpA / 105 SpD / 90 Spe | BST: 550
Added Moves: Blaze Kick, Dragon Hammer
Summary of Changes: +50 Atk, +10 Spe

Altaria was far too passive. Optimized Altaria works like its Mega, getting a large boost to attack to run Dragon Dance sets. Blaze Kick provides a physical Fire-type attack to hit airborne Steel-types.

Venusaur [Optimized]
Abilities

Stats: 90 HP / 82 Atk / 93 Def / 110 SpA / 100 SpD / 80 Spe | BST: 555

Electivire [Optimized]
Ability:
Motor Drive/Vital Spirit/Sheer Force
Stats: 80/123/67/100/85/115 | BST: 570
Added Moves: Volt Tackle, Strong-Arm Punch, Bulk Up
Strong-Arm Punch: View attachment 146335, 95BP, 100% acc, 30% chance to lower opponent's Atk by one stage. (Physical, Contact)
Summary of Changes: +5 HP, +5 SpA, +20 Spe
Competitive: Fantastic Attack, great dual STABs, and Speed that surpasses the dreaded 110 tier allow Electivire to finally attain the viability he deserves. Volt Tackle and Strong-Arm Punch provide Sheer Force-boosted STAB moves, Ice Punch and Earthquake round out the coverage. Bulk Up can be ran if you're feeling it, but Evire's raw power should be enough on its own.

Poliwrath [Optimized]
Ability:
Contrary/Water Absorb/Swift Swim
Stats: 100/105/105/80/100/80 | BST: 570
Added Moves: Superpower, Close Combat, Liquidation, Drain Punch, Recover
Summary of Changes: +10 to all stats
Competitive: Newly gained access to Contrary and decent bulk means that Poliwrath can finally excel at something: tanking hits and boosting with Superpower or Close Combat. Drain Punch and Recover provide nice options for longevity, and Liquidation rounds out the new editions by giving Poliwrath a slightly more powerful STAB with a useful secondary effect.

View attachment 146338View attachment 146336
Politoed [Optimized]
Ability:
Unaware/Water Absorb/Drizzle
Stats: 100/85/95/100/110/80 | BST: 570
Added Moves: Calm Mind, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Shadow Ball, Recover
Summary of Changes: +20 Def, +10 to all other stats
Competitive: With Unaware giving Politoed yet another great ability, it now has the opportunity to run two different viable sets: weather setter and wall. Recover gives it the longevity it so desired back during the weather wars, and Thunder gives some much needed coverage. Added Psychic typing to juxtapose against Poliwrath's Fighting type, and it also gives it some interesting resistances.

View attachment 146343View attachment 146344
Magcargo [Optimized]
Ability:
Heat Shield/Solid Rock/Weak Armor
Heat Shield: Provides an immunity to Water-type moves.
Stats: 80/70/150/130/80/60 | BST: 570
Added Moves: Eruption, Power Gem, Rapid Spin
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +20 Atk, +30 Def, +40 SpA, +30 Spe
Competitive: Even though it still has its 4x weakness to Ground, Magcargo now has the stats to pull of a neat tanking set, and it can even try to sweep with Shell Smash and Firium Z Eruption. Rapid Spin allows for role compression, and Power Gem gives it a good Rock-type STAB.

Name: Flareon [Optimized]
Stats: 85/138/80/95/110/62 (+20 HP, +8 Atk, +20 Def, -3 Spe, BST 570)
Ability: Flash Fire/Reckless (HA: Guts)
Typing:

New Moves: Fire Lash, Leaf Blade, Morning Sun, Swords Dance, Volt Tackle

Flareon, despite having a great Attack stat, is often worn down quickly due it’s susceptibility to hazards, mediocre defenses, and poor Speed. With reliable recovery and improved bulk, Flareon can take a hit or two. Reckless not only helps power up Flare Blitz, but also lets it play with Volt Tackle. These changes allow it to be a decent wallbreaker even with mediocre Speed.

Name: Dusknoir [Optimized]
Stats: 60/114/135/45/135/36 (+15 HP, +14 Atk, -20 SpA, - 9 Spe, BST 525)
Ability: Frisk/Pressure (HA: Defiant)
Typing:

New Moves: Bulk Up, Iron Head, Knock Off, Recover, Stealth Rock

Dusknoir was a decent spinblocker when it was released, but has fallen out of favor due to the popularity of Defog. Defiant fixes this problem, giving Dusknoir a niche as one of the best ways to keep hazards on the field. It’s defensive capabilities have also been buffed, sporting a better typing, reliable recovery, set-up options, and a usable HP stat, all of which plagued it in the past. While it’s still slow and somewhat weak without a boost, Dusknoir poses a threat to nearly every hazard remover.

Name: Aerodactyl [Optimized]

Stats: 80/120/65/60/75/136 (+15 Atk, +6 Spe, BST 536)
Ability: Pressure/Rock Head (HA: Sand Force)
Typing:

Mega Stats: 95/128/101/37/80/155 (+15 HP, -7 Atk, +16 Def, -23 SpA, + 5 SpD, +5 Spe, BST 636)
Mega Ability: Tough Claws
Mega Typing:

New Moves: Accelrock, Brave Bird, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance

I wanted this to be similar to Gyarados, where both forms have uses in OU. Both forms have had their Speed increased, where Aerodactyl now outspends Tapu Koko and Ash Greninja, while its Mega now beats Mega-Alakazam. Brave Bird makes up for the loss in Attack for its Mega and gives its normal form an even stronger option with Rock Head. Additionally, its Mega has significantly better bulk, making set-up with Swords Dance relatively easier. Aerodactyl is still very high risk, but now has many more options to take advantage of its power and speed.

Klinklang [Optimized]
Abilities:
Plus / Minus / Technician (HA)
Stats: 80 / 110 / 120 / 70 / 85 / 80
BST: 545
Added Moves: None
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +5 Def, -10 Speed, +10 Attack
Klinklang suffered from a severe lack of coverage and firepower. Though I haven't given any coverage moves, now Klinklang gets an Electric STAB with Wild Charge and a 150 BP Gear Grind thanks to Technician. Combine this with Shift Gear and Klinklang becomes a powerful sweeper. The best defensive typing in the game and solid bulk gives it many opportunities to set up. It is also immune to poison and paralysis, though it hates burn. However, no reliable recovery options, plus being walled by common Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Heatran work against it. Gear Grind's accuracy also lets it down, being 85%.

Drapion [Optimized]
Abilities:
Battle Armor / Sniper / Tough Claws (HA)
Stats: 70 / 120 / 130 / 60 / 75 / 115
BST: 570
Added Moves: None
Summary of Changes: +30 Attack, +20 Speed, +20 Defense
Despite being one of the coolest Pokemon around, Drapion wasn't very good, with no way of recovery, an average base 90 attack and a weak typing offensively. Tough Claws fits Drapion being a predator scorpion, and gives it a great ability to suit Drapions high amount of contact moves. Higher attack and speed allows it to be much faster than before and deal a large amount of damage. However, it still suffers from a average offensive and defensive typing and cannot take special attacks well with 70/75 bulk.

Name: Drampa [Optimized]
Typing:

Stats: 108 / 50 / 95 / 135 / 91 / 91 (+30 HP -10 Atk +10 Def +55 Spe, BST: 570)
Ability: Berserk / Sap Sipper / Scrappy (HA)
New Moves: Celebrate, Cotton Guard, Yawn
Overview: Drampa now has a better bulk and its Speed isn't terrible anymore. It has a new useful ability in Scrappy, which allows him to hit Ghost types that would normally wall it such as Mismagius. It has 3 new moves: Z-Celebrate can be used as a set-up move to turn Drampa into a sweeper/cleaner in the late game, Cotton Guard can be used in conjunction with Calm Mind to turn Drampa into a bulky wincon, Yawn isn't probably that useful, but maybe a Block+Yawn set could be used to trap and put to sleep passive Pokemon.

Name: Mightyena [Optimized]
Typing:

Stats: 70 / 140 / 70 / 60 / 60 / 130 (+50 Atk +60 Spe, BST: 530)
Ability: Intimidate / Strong Jaw / Moxie (HA)
New Moves: Metal Fang |
|
| 65 Power | 100% Accuracy | 24 PP | 10% chance to flinch the target. Boosted by Strong Jaw.
Overview: Mightyena got a huge buff in the stats department so now it is one of the fastest Optimons and it has a very respectable Attack stat. Its bulk is pretty underwhelming though. It got a new ability in Strong Jaw, which is very useful as it boosts STAB Crunch and all the elemental fangs that Mightyena can learn. It also gets an accurate coverage for Fairy types in Metal Fang.

Name: Pikachu [Optimized]
Typing:

Stats: 65 / 80 / 40 / 80 / 85 / 120 (+30 HP +25 Atk +30 SpA +35 SpD +30 Spe, BST: 470)
Ability: Static / Galvanize / Lightning Rod (HA)
New Moves: Ice Beam, Energy Ball
Overview: Pikachu is now a scary priority spammer with STAB Galvanize-boosted Fake Out+Extreme Speed. Its terrible stats are now much better and with 80 Atk/SpA and Light Ball Pikachu is one of the strongest Optimons. Pikachu now also has better coverage for Ground types in Ice Beam and Energy Ball.

Lurantis [Optimized]
Abilities:
Leaf Guard / Sniper / Contrary (HA)
Stats: 70 / 115 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 85 (570)
Added Moves: Focus Blast, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Close Combat, Bulk Up, Low Kick, Gunk Shot
Summary of Changes: +10 Attack, +10 Defense, +20 Special Attack, +10 Special Defense, +40 Speed

Lurantis is now a bulky alternative to Breloom, who focuses on racking up Contrary boosts. Its niche as a defensive hazard remover only increases thanks to its improved bulk.

Yanmega [Optimized]
Abilities
: Tinted Lens / Speed Boost / Frisk (HA)
Stats: 96 HP / 76 Atk / 86 Def / 119 SpA / 76 SpD / 95 Spe | BST: 548
Added Moves: Dragon Pulse, Dragon Dance, Outrage, Draco Meteor
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +3 SpA +20 SpD

Yanmega always wanted this typing. It can now serve as a good wallbreaker with its potent Tinted Lens limiting its switchins, and Speed Boost turning it into a late game cleaner.

Kecleon [Optimized]
Abilities
: Colour Change / Protean (HA)
Stats: 70 HP / 115 Atk / 70 Def / 95 SpA / 130 SpD / 70 Spe | BST: 550
Added Moves: Dragon Pulse, Outrage, U-Turn, Play Rough
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +25 Atk, +35 SpA, +10 SpD, +30 Spe

Kecleon has slightly better bulk and physical power, while getting a big bump in terms of speed and special attack. The few moves it gains give it even more diversity.

Magmortar [Optimized]
Abilities
: Intense Heat (!) / Mold Breaker | Flash Fire
Intense Heat: Take half damage from Water-type and Ice-type attacks.

Stats: 75 HP / 110 Atk / 67 Def / 125 SpA / 95 SpD / 98 Spe | BST: 570
Added Moves: Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Quick Burst (!), Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Poison Jab, Gunk Shot
Quick Burst:
|
| 40 Power (100 Z-Power) | 100% Accuracy | 48 PP | +1 Priority. 20% chance to burn the target.
Summary of Changes: +15 Atk, +15 Spe
Overall Summary: The Magmortar line can already learn a few Poison-type moves via level-up, so why not crank up and make Magmortar a Fire/Poison? All Magmortar needs is a good boost on its Speed, and is now decently fast enough to barely speed creep Tapu Lele, Landorus-T, and the Optimized Incineroar, Clawitzer, Uxie, Butterfree and the likes of those who have 90~95 Speed (take Choice Scarf into account though). Magmortar's Attack boost is because of its already versatile learnset, and Mold Breaker help it penetrate multiple defensive Abilities like Unaware. Its 4x weakness to Ground is very cumbersome, so it should run coverage against most of them, and it can be walled by the likes of Heatran (without Mold Breaker) and Toxapex without proper coverage.

Phione [Optimized]
Abilities
: Hydration | Reflective (!)
Reflective: Upon switching, this Pokémon copy the positive stat changes of the frontal opponent.

Stats: 80 HP / 110 Atk / 80 Def / 110 SpA / 80 SpD / 100 Spe | BST: 560
Added Moves: Tail Glow, Calm Mind, Swim Practice (!), Psychic, Zen Headbutt, Focus Blast, Hydro Pump, Hyper Voice, Aqua Jet, Ice Punch
Swim Practice:
|
| --% (Self) | 16 PP | Raise user's Attack by 2 and Speed by 1.
Summary of Changes: +30 Atk, +30 SpA, +20 Spe
Overall Summary: Phione is now like a Manaphy but with weaker bulk and better raw power. One Tail Glow or Swim Practice can turn the tide quickly if used correctly. But with Reflective, Phione can also be useful for revenge kill, especially if equipping a Choice Scarf. That said, its weak bulk means that it should not switch into any moves except Ghost-type moves. It had to set up properly, lest Phione can be taken down before it could even act. Without Choice Scarf, faster threats can also quickly dispatch Phione.

Mega stats: 94 / 165 / 103 / 53 / 105 / 105 | BST: 625

Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +18 Def, -30 SpAtk, +12 SpD, +40 Spe (Mega: +20 HP, +28 Def, -40 SpAtk, +22 SpD, +30 Spe)
Overview: Banette's high Attack and Tough Claws-boosted moves, like Return and Poltergeist, make it work as a wallbreaker. Its Mega, while still having high offensive stats, can take a more defensive approach with priority moves like Will-o-Wisp and Destiny Bond and an interesting defensive typing.

New moves: Poltergeist | View attachment 146606 | View attachment 146608 | 85 BP | 100% Accuracy | 16 PP | 20% chance to confuse (Makes contact)
It would be 90 BP after Technician boost. With STAB that’s a 135 BP priority attack with a 1/5 burn chance, yikes

Golem (Optimized)
Abilities:
Solid Rock / Sturdy | Dry Skin
Stats: 100 / 125 / 130 / 55 / 95 / 65 | BST: 570
Added Moves: Shore Up, Accelrock, Shell Smash
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +5 Atk, +30 SpD, +20 Spe
Overview: Golem now serves as a set-up sweeper with unique setup opportunities due to having a Water and Electric immunity alongside good mixed bulk. It can also serve as a offensive Stealth Rock setter with reliable recovery. Gigalith sucks

Abilities
: Contrary / Suction Cups / Infiltrator (HA)
Stats: 86 HP / 107 Atk / 88 Def / 88 SpA / 85 SpD / 83 Spe | BST: 537
Added Moves: Psycho Whip*, Tentacle Storm*, Psychic Fangs, Pursuit, Sucker Punch, Nasty Plot, Recover
Summary of Changes: +15 Atk, +20 SpA, +10 SpD, +10 Spe

Tentacle Storm* -
| Physical | 90 BP | 100 Acc | 10 PP | Lowers user’s Spe by 1 stage | Z-move: 175 BP Black Hole Eclipse

Malamar was designed to be the premier Contrary user, with even its method of evolution and lineage design revolving it. However, Malamar didn’t get any STAB moves that it could use to abuse Contrary, only Superpower. Optimized Malamar gains some stat boosts as well as two new signature STAB moves that synergize with Contrary, with Superpower providing it with a way to hit opposing Dark-types.

Pyroar [Optimized]
Abilities
: Rivalry / Competitive / Prideful* (HA)
Stats: 86 HP / 68 Atk / 82 Def / 109 SpA / 81 SpD / 106 Spe | BST: 532
Added Moves: Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Slack Off
Summary of Changes: +10 Def, +15 SpD

Prideful* - Moxie variant that raises SpA by 1 stage after getting a KO

Pyroar was a fast special attacker with a good speed tier. However, it was too frail to survive most strong hits and it didn’t get any particularly useful abilities. Optimized Pyroar gains some defensive boosts and actually useful abilities, with Prideful replacing Moxie since it’s not a physical attacker anyway. Focus Blast gives it a way to hit Rock-types without Z-Solar Beam.

Barbaracle [Optimized]
Abilities
: Tough Claws / Sniper / Solid Rock (HA)
Stats: 82 HP / 110 Atk / 115 Def / 54 SpA / 86 SpD / 80 Spe | BST: 527
Added Moves: Ice Punch, Crabhammer, Barnacle Bash*
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +5 Atk, +12 Spe

Barnacle Bash* -
| Physical | 90 BP | 95 Acc | 10 PP | High critical hit ratio, makes contact | Z-move: 175 BP Continental Crush

Barbaracle was a powerful Shell Smash abuser with Tough Claws-boosted attacks. Unfortunately, it didn’t get a strong Rock STAB that benefits from Tough Claws, and it’s quite slow before using Shell Smash, leaving it vulnerable to strong faster attackers before it gets a chance to set up. Optimized Barbaracle gains a signature move to abuse Tough Claws with and an even stronger Water STAB in Crabhammer. Ice Punch lets it hit Grass-types and Dragon-types super effectively.

Gogoat [Optimized]
Abilities
: Sap Sipper / Stamina / Grass Pelt (HA)
Stats: 123 HP / 100 Atk / 70 Def / 100 SpA / 81 SpD / 68 Spe | BST: 542
Added Moves: Calm Mind, High Horsepower, Earth Power
Summary of Changes: +8 Def, +3 SpA

Gogoat’s signature ability Grass Pelt didn’t see very much use because it was never used alongside Tapu Bulu and it wasn’t really worth it to use a turn setting Grassy Terrain itself. It was also a mono-Grass type so there was really no reason to use it over other Grass-types like Mega Venusaur or Tapu Bulu itself. Optimized Gogoat gains a secondary typing with matching STAB moves, both of which are unaffected by Grassy Terrain’s effect of weakening Earthquake. It already had Bulk Up to run physically bulky sets and can now run Calm Mind for special sets too. Stamina is a more useful ability than Grass Pelt overall since it can accumulate multiple boosts after tanking hits.

Gogoat [Optimized]
Abilities
: Rock Head / Speed Boost / Grass Pelt (HA)
Stats: 123 HP / 100 Atk / 85 Def / 67 SpA / 81 SpD / 100 Spe | BST: 556
Added Moves: Wood Hammer, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock, Shift Gear, Head Smash
Summary of Changes: +13 Def, -30 SpA, +32 Spe (+15 BST)
Overview: Gogoat is based on a motorcycle, so it always seemed weird to me that it was so slow. Rock Head gives it two very strong STABs with no drawback, while Speed Boost lets it clean on the lategame. Grass Pelt is mainly there as its signature ability, but it could see some use with Grassy Terrain.

Name: Malamar [Optimized]
Stats: 96/102/88/68/100/86 (+10 HP, +10 Atk, +25 SpD, + 13 Spe, BST: 530)
Ability: Suction Cups/Contrary (HA: Infiltrator)
Typing:

New Moves: Aqua Jet, Crunch, Liquidation, Poison Jab, Pursuit, Sucker Punch, Recover

Justification: While Contrary is an amazing ability, Malamar struggles in OU due to mediocre stats and a terrible typing. Dark/Water not only removes Malamar's 4x weakness to Bug, but also gives it important resistances to Fire, Steel, and Water, among others. To go along with this, Malamar receives some Water-type STAB alongside improved Dark-type options. Increased bulk, especially on the special side, gives Malabar more opportunities to switch-in and increases its longevity. This is further supplemented with access to Recover. Improved Attack helps Malamar with its immediate power, while increased Speed lets it outspend Tapu Fini, Heatran, and Mega-Gyarados. Finally, Poison Jab is a decent coverage move that prevents Fairy-type Pokémon from walling Malamar.

Name: Pyroar [Optimized]
Stats: 98/88/72/109/66/111 (+12 HP, +20 Atk, + 5 Spe, BST: 544)
Ability: Rivalry/Intimidate (HA: Moxie)
Typing:

New Moves: Earthquake, Earth Power, Electro Ball, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Seed Bomb, Swords Dance

Justification: Although Pyroar's stats are decent, it has a terrible movepool that leads it to be outclassed even in the lower tiers. Pyroar receives several new coverage moves that help with this. These also improve its matchups with Water- and Rock-type Pokémon. Intimidate turns Pyroar's mediocre physical Defense into something decent, allowing it to switch-in and survive weaker hits. A boosted Attack stat, while still mediocre at best, allows it to mix up its sets. Pryoar also outspeeds base-110s, reducing the need for it to run Choice Scarf (although it is more than capable of doing so with Moxie). Finally, Pyroar has access to Swords Dance, which turns it into a potent sweeper.

Name: Barbaracle [Optimized]
Stats: 72/120/115/54/86/81 (+15 Atk, +13 Spe, BST: 528)
Ability: Sniper/Tough Claws (HA: Pickpocket)
Typing:

New Moves: Aqua Jet, Drain Punch, Ice Punch, Ice Shard

Justification: Barbaracle is a decent Shell Smasher, but has too many weaknesses to be viable in OU. One of the main problems with Barbaracle is its lack of speed and power even at +2. These have both been increased to prevent revenge killing and reduce the number of Pokémon that can comfortably take a hit. These changes also allow Barbarcle to have a better offensive presence without boosts, increasing the number of sets it can run. Aqua Jet and Ice Shard are both useful priority moves that make it even harder for Barbaracle to be revenge killed. These are added in conjunction with Drain Punch and Ice Punch to increase its coverage, letting it hit Steel- and Grass-types respectively. They are additionally boosted in power with Tough Claws. Overall, Barbaracle still has weaknesses, but many of them have been mitigated, allowing Barbarcle to set-up and sweep unprepared teams with ease.

Name: Gogoat [Optimized]
Stats: 123/115/62/97/91/76 (+15 Atk, +10 SpD, +8 Spe, BST: 554)
Ability: Sap Sipper (HA: Grassy Pelt)
Typing:

New Moves: Heal Bell, High Horsepower, Rock Slide, Stealth Rock, Stone Edge

Justification: Gogoat faces stiff competition for a Grass-type Pokémon, both offensively and defensively. The primary focus of Gogoat's buffs concerned Grassy Pelt, an ability that is functionally useless without Tapu Bulu. A Grass/Ground typing gives Gogoat better STAB options while also improving its matchup against the Poison- and Steel-type Pokémon Tapu Bulu dislikes. High Horsepower gives Gogoat a good STAB option that isn't weakened under Grassy terrain. To complement its increased physical Defense with Grassy Terrain and Bulk Up, Gogoat gains a small increase to its special bulk and access to Heal Bell and stealth Rock. Gogoat also has access to Stone Edge and Rock Slide to beat Grass-, Ice-, and Flying- types. A marginally increased Speed stat allows +1 Gogoat to beat Timid Tornadus-T without a Speed boosting nature.

Eelektross [Optimized]
Abilities
: Levitate / Strong Jaw / Sheer Force (HA)
Stats: 105 HP / 115 Atk / 90 Def / 105 SpA / 90 SpD / 50 Spe | BST: 555
Added Moves: Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Gunk Shot, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +10 Defense, +10 Special Defense
While its new typing cancels the no weaknesses aspect by giving it a Psychic weakness, Levitate covers the 4x Ground weakness on defensive sets and the new STAB gives it some edge on offensive sets. Strong Jaw boosts coverage moves like the elemental fangs and Crunch, but it's mostly there for flavor, and Sheer Force buffs important moves like Thunder, Gunk Shot and Flamethrower.

Beartic [Optimized]
Abilities
: Tough Claws / Slush Rush / Swift Swim (HA)
Stats: 95 HP / 130 Atk / 80 Def / 60 SpA / 80 SpD / 100 Spe | BST: 555
Added Moves: Ice Shard, Mach Punch, Close Combat
Summary of Changes: -10 Special Attack, +50 Speed
Beartic is made to excel in weather teams with a really high boosted speed, good attack and a solid STAB combination, but it could also see some use as a wallbreaker with Tough Claws and Choice Scarf. Its defensive stats leave much to be desired, though, and its type combination is quite bad defensively, so it's definitely a glass cannon.

Stoutland [Optimized]
Abilities
: Intimidate / Sand Rush / Scrappy (HA)
Stats: 105 HP / 120 Atk / 100 Def / 45 SpA / 90 SpD / 95 Spe | BST: 555
Added Moves: Head Charge, Quick Attack
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +10 Attack, +10 Defense, +15 Speed
Stoutland is a potent Sand sweeper and Choice Band wallbreaker. Its high bulk for an offensive mon allows it to handle punishment and retaliate in kind.

Garbodor [Optimized]
Abilities:
Corrosion / Aftermath / Regenerator
Stats: 110 HP / 95 Atk / 102 Def / 76 SpA / 102 SpD / 85 Spe | BST: 570
Added Moves: Poison Jab, Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Earthquake, Thunder, Recover
Summary of Changes: +30 HP, +20 Def, +16 SpA, +20 Def, +10 Spe
Two things about Garbodor have always bothered me: it doesn't get Poison Jab, and it has no form of recovery despite being literal garbage. I mean there's no way that it can't heal itself by absorbing nearby trash. Of course, neither of those would be problems with my Optimized Garbodor. It even sports the always-useful Regenerator for AV sets or (Toxic) Spikes stacking sets. Great new Steel typing gives it all the great resistances that come with it. Has to watch out for Ground-types, as their STAB moves utterly destroy it no matter how much bulk it's packing.

Eelektross [Optimized]
Abilities
: Levitate / Strong Jaw / Triage (HA)
Stats: 85 HP / 115 Atk / 80 Def / 115 SpA / 80 SpD / 80 Spe | BST: 555
Added Moves: Thunder Fang, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Leech Life, Parabolic Charge, Bug Buzz, Drain Shock*
Summary of Changes: +10 SpA, +30 Spe

Drain Shock - Electric-type Leech Life

Eelektross can abuse Triage with Leech Life, Parabolic Charge, Drain Punch, Giga Drain, and its new signature move Drain Shock. Coil is a good set up move for it, boosting its attack while making it more difficult to take down physically. It doesn't get actual reliable recovery, however, so it is dependent on damaging its opponent to sustain itself.

Beartic [Optimized]
Abilities
: Snow Cloak / Slush Rush / Swift Swim (HA)
Stats: 95 HP / 130 Atk / 80 Def / 70 SpA / 80 SpD / 90 Spe | BST: 545
Added Moves: Drain Punch, Ice Shard, Liquidation, U-turn
Summary of Changes: +40 Spe

Beartic abuses either hail or rain with its high attack stat that can be boosted with Swords Dance. It gains Ice Shard for STAB priority and Liquidation which gets boosted in the rain and helps against Fire-types.

Garbodor [Optimized]
Abilities
: Poison Point / Corrosion / Aftermath (HA)
Stats: 100 HP / 105 Atk / 97 Def / 60 SpA / 97 SpD / 75 Spe | BST: 534
Added Moves: Stealth Rock, Poison Jab, Earthquake, Earth Power, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Recover
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +10 Atk, +15 Def, +15 SpD

Garbodor's bulk gets increased, and it can now threaten grounded Steel-types and Poison-types with Earthquake. It also gets Recover and Stealth Rock for more utility. Corrosion allows it to Toxic things like Celesteela and Skarmory, which it otherwise can't deal with, while Aftermath punishes contact attackers.

Stoutland [Optimized]
Abilities
: Intimitate / Sand Rush / Scrappy (HA)
Stats: 85 HP / 125 Atk / 100 Def / 45 SpA / 100 SpD / 80 Spe | BST: 535
Added Moves: Quick Attack
Summary of Changes: +15 Atk, +10 Def, +10 SpD

Stoutland gains Quick Attack for priority, it already had three good abilities, and its attack stat is boosted further.
