Wew this has been a long event. I never thought I'd get this far and honestly wanted to quit halfway. But I made a lot of new friends who helped me and encouraged me so much. I know for a fact that I had no chance of ever getting this far without yall. It really was fun to play a bunch of different metas and even learn a couple new ones.

Congratulations to highlighter, and thanks to all the people who passed me teams. I put very little prep time or interest into this tournament and only built 2 AAA squads out of everything I used in playoffs, and would not have gotten anywhere without the people who were willing to keep donating after my stupid performances somehow got rewarded with W's. The auto-losses were some shit luck but I really appreciate the teams regardless, it wasn't their fault. Sorry to those interested in spectating, I don't think it should be controversial to say that this series was probably the most garbage finals of any large-ish tour I've ever seen and definitely up there for what the fuck how were those games so lame, ZU was the only one where there was any remote margin of player skill or intelligent thought whatsoever. Wish I could've put up a better fight, but when you run into some incredibly specific matchups that are pretty much just auto-losses in 3 different metas that's just part of mons and I'm fine w/this performance (not that I didn't have a very strong ZU matchup anyway, although definitely not to the extent of the other games). Don't take this for salt or unreservedness though; getting solid teams is half the game, highlighter's prepped the hell out of these playoffs series and managed to not choke those matchups which is really all that was required. OMGS is consistently won by those who put in that time to have the better teams across more metas, and it very clearly wasn't me this year. This was effort well-rewarded for highlighter.
