Klefki serves as an excellent check to Dragalge, as it is immune to both the devastating Draco Meteors and Slude Waves that it throws out. Simply having Klefki on one's team makes Dragalge play more cautiously, as being locked in to its STAB moves against Klefki can let its opponent get up a layer of spikes, or status Dragalge or its teammate. Even if Dragalge predicts a switch to Klefki, Focus Blast is only a 3HKO on it, and Klefki can easily 3HKO first with Play Rough if Dragalge has been paralyzed by Thunder Wave.

:copperajah: serves a great check to dragalge, because draco meteoer is only a 3hko and sludge wave doesnt have any effect, as its steel-typing makes it immune to poison-type attacks from dragalge. copperajah on the other hand can dish out huge damage and pressure the opposition in general with its hard hitting attacks. heavy slam and earthquake in particular will do a lot of damage to dragalge. however, it has to be careful when switching into a focus blast, as this will do a good chunk. but in overall copper serves as a nice check to alge.

Even if Golurk will not appreciate switching into a Draco Meteor nor Flip Turn, thanks to it's ground/ghost typing, Golurk is immune to Focus Blast and resist Sludge Wave. Adamant Golurk is also able to outspeed Dragalge even if it's timid and easily OHKO with either Earthquake or Poltergeist, making it a great revenge killer in that case.
