[SET COMMENTS]
Heavy-Duty Boots makes Blissey a top-notch specially defensive pivot that is not hindered by entry hazards such as Toxic Spikes and Spikes, which makes it superior to Chansey. It is also adept at providing important utility to the team in the form of Teleport, Stealth Rock, or Toxic. Teleport lets Blissey maintain momentum for the team and bring a wallbreaker safely into the battle. Soft-Boiled allows Blissey to keep itself healthy throughout the match to continually support its teammates. Seismic Toss lets Blissey not be complete Taunt bait as well as beat and wear down Pokemon such as Klefki, Hydreigon, and Charizard. Stealth Rock lets Blissey rack up residual damage, wearing down teams and letting offensive Pokemon like Diggersby and Indeedee-M have much easier time wallbreaking. Toxic can be used over Stealth Rock to cripple Pokemon such as Dragapult, Gastrodon, and Calm Mind Slowking. Maximum HP and Defense investment makes Blissey as bulky as possible, mitigating its horrible physical bulk and letting it better take hits from Pokemon like Choice Scarf Excadrill and defensive Incineroar, while Heavy-Duty Boots combines with Soft-Boiled to make Blissey very hard to wear down.
Physically defensive teammates like Bewear and Braviary make for good partners, since they can cover physical attackers like Excadrill. Bulk Up Bewear can also cover Steel-type teams and take on threats like Bisharp. Wallbreakers like Diggersby, Indeedee-M, and Obstagoon love Teleport support from Blissey, as it grants them safe opportunities to break apart opposing teams. Braviary can provide Defog support to stop entry hazards like Toxic Spikes from wearing down these wallbreakers while also acting as a defensive pivot against Fighting-type Pokemon. Heliolisk can outspeed and check threats like Keldeo, switch into Fishious Rend from Dracovish due to its ability Dry Skin, and use Grass Knot to beat Ground-types like Gastrodon that Blissey cannot beat without Toxic. Ditto can dissuade offensive setup sweepers like Swords Dance Excadrill and Azumarill that can take advantage of Blissey.
