[SET COMMENTS]
Marshadow is one of the most dangerous attackers in the SS Ubers tier due to its offensively useful typing, allowing it to hit all the defensive walls in the tier for massive damage with its powerful ghost and fighting Ghost- and Fighting-type STAB moves. Close Combat provides coverage against not only strong special walls such as Blissey and Tyranitar, but also versus physical walls such as Quagsire, Skarmory, and Corviknight. Poltergeist gives Marshadow a stronger alternative to Spectral Thief, letting it pressure checks such as Eternatus with more damage as well as other Fighting-resistant Pokemon such as Gyarados. Shadow Sneak paired with Technician is very good at picking off weakened Pokemon that are faster than Marshadow. Life Orb sets prefer to run Bulk Up in the last move slot for additional power, allowing Marshadow to 2HKO most Pokemon in the tier that haven't Dynamaxed. Choice Band sets can choose to run an extra STAB option in the last move slot, being either Force Palm or Spectral Thief. This gives Marshadow either a Technician-boosted STAB Fighting-type attack with a paralysis chance or a useful secondary Ghost-type STAB move that is able to steal stat boosts, bypass Substitute, hit itemless foes, and with more PP than Poltergeist.
Adamant nature is an option for Marshadow, as with Choice Band, it is able to 2HKO defensive Eternatus at the cost of being outsped by Pokemon such as Jolly Cinderace. Providing Marshadow with support to pressure Eternatus and other checks is extremely important, as Pressure will make Marshadow have to worry about firing off attacks in fear of running out of PP. Entry hazards support helps Marshadow break through some common walls trying to switch in to check it, such as Eternatus, Corviknight, and Skarmory; therefore, Stealth Rock setters like Necrozma-DM and Spikes setters like Skarmory can wear down its checks to clean up a team. Since Eternatus is the largest blockade for it, Gothitelle pressures it to carry Shed Shell, which reduces its longevity compared to Black Sludge, and can deal massive damage to Eternatus if it is not holding Shed Shell. Pairing it with more physical threats like Zacian-C can let it work to overwhelm physical walls such as Quagsire. Specially offensive Pokemon that can pressure walls, such as Lunala and Psychic Volcarona can form a strong offensive core with Marshadow which can overwhelm many defensive cores with the help of residual damage from entry hazards.
