Heracross @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Facade
- Megahorn / Swords Dance

Heracross finds its place as one of the best wallbreakers in the RU tier, having the ability to tear through defensive cores with its powerful, Guts-boosted attacks. Even Flying-types like Togekiss and Crobat struggle to switch into Facade. Knock Off ensures that Ghost-types such as Chandelure and Alolan Marowak aren't safe either. Megahorn allows Heracross to beat defensive Psychic-types like Reuniclus. Alternatively, it can use Swords Dance to ease predictions when facing defensive switch-ins such as Togekiss. Thanks to its typing, Heracross can take a resisted hit from Pokemon like Zarude or Zygarde-10% as long as its teammates can keep entry hazards off. Despite this, it's often better to bring Heracross in safely with VoltTurn support from Pokemon like Raikou and Zarude. Heracross is very good at forcing switches and appreciates help in wearing down the opposing team, making entry hazard setters like Steelix, Rhyperior, and Klefki good teammates. Heracross is great at breaking down the opposition but is often too slow to clean up, so late-game cleaners like Sharpedo and Choice Scarf Xurkitree can be decent teammates.

Heracross is a strong wallbreaker in the RU tier that has the ability to break through defensive cores with its powerful, Guts-boosted attacks. Even Flying-types like Togekiss and Crobat struggle to switch into Facade. Knock Off ensures that Ghost-types such as Chandelure and Marowak-A aren't safe switch-ins either. [Talk abt Megahorn vs SD; Megahorn lets it be a better stop to CM Psychic-types, while SD means it doesn't need prediction to beat resists like Togekiss]. Thanks to its typing, Heracross can take a resisted hit from Pokemon like Zarude or Zygarde-10% if necessary, allowing it to punch a hole in offensive teams that it tends to struggles against. [it can only do this if it's at near-full HP, so mention that hazard removal helps it do this (along with letting it switch into defensive mons like Gastro/Seismitoad more times during the match)]. Despite this, it's often better to bring Heracross in safely, so VoltTurn support from Pokemon like Raikou or Zarude is appreciated.

Great job DKM, just add in the two things I mentioned in comments above. also, your wording is a little dry/boring; spotlights are supposed to be as interesting as possible, so try to make the intro sound more exciting!

I didn't post this in the GP queue yet as I was still double checking and was actually editing that just now, thanks.
