Signature Move Data: Psionic Force
95 bp, 95% acc, 5-8 pp, Pulse-based, Bypasses and breaks Substitutes
Signature Move Details: Bypasses and removes Substitutes. Ignores type-based immunities of all active Pokémon. User cannot move next turn.
Signature Move Description: Cosmo unleashes an inescapable pulse
Flavorful Justification: Mewtwo's a Psychic cat. Mew's a Psychic cat. Espurr's a Psychic cat. Meowstic are Psychic cats. Espeon's a Psychic… creature-thing? Cosmo's a Psychic dog. For all the Dog Pokémon Psychic cat Pokémon out there, there are no obviously Psychic dog Pokémon.
Competitive Justification: Cosmo's a lover, not a fighter. That's why he's got most of the supportive Status moves; he uses his power to protect in ways no other dog could. He's more understanding than… well, I could go on. Anyway, he is quite capable of fighting, though, and does not hold back when necessary, even against allies. Thus, being a skilled telekineticist, he can use many moves commonly accessible to most Psychic types.

Snowflame @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Cocaine
- Flare Blitz
- Ice Punch
- Superpower
Reasoning: Snowflame gains power upon snorting cocaine. He gains increased strength and pain tolerance, and can coat himself in fire. He exploded when thrown in a shed with chemicals.

- Knock Off
Reasoning: Thor is the Prince of Thunder, and a noble warrior. He has godly strength and durability, and can fly and control the weather, creating rain, winds or hail. Lum Invader @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Wild Charge
- Bite / Boomerang
- Jump Kick
Reasoning: Lum is an Oni alien who comes to Earth and falls in love with Ataru. Her appearance gets all the boys to fall in love with her. She can fly, and use powerful electric shocks (that get stronger when she's angry). She can also absorb electricity, making her own shocks stronger. She chases Ataru around when he tries to avoid her, shocking him in various ways. Lum's horns can relieve the symptoms of diseases. She has fangs and occasionally bites with them. She did a jumping kick once, and sometimes uses a wood hammer (like many characters in the show). Lum uses various alien devices, including strength pills (Bulk Up), fossil revivers (Ancient Power), air conditioning ice blocks (Icy Wind, Ice Shard), memory erasers (Amnesia), weather controllers (Rain Dance, Sunny Day), boomerang disks (Boomerang), sticky guns (Sticky Web).

Pokémon: Cat Shampoo
Type:

Stats: 98 HP/55 Atk/40 Def/55 SpA/65 SpD/100 Spe (413 BST)

Reasoning: Shampoo is a skilled Amazonian warrior. She fights using a sword, as well as two chuís. She also used fork darts and dumpling bombs. She has a technique where she jumps on someone for a boost, and one where she can turn someone unconscious, and then mind control them. She fell into the Spring of Drowned Cat, which causes her to become a cat when she is hit with cold water. She can only turn back when hit with hot water.

Akko final design

Pokémon: Akko
Franchise/Origin: Little Witch Academia
Type: Normal/Fairy
Ability: Competitive/Prankster
Mega Ability: Grand Triskelion - Damaging moves gain 5 BP for every unfainted pokemon on your team.
Notable moves: Dazzling Gleam, Fairy Wind, Charm, Transform, Play Rough, Supersonic, Screech, Hyper Voice, Tearful Look, Recover, Grass Knot, Work Up, Chatter, Disarming Voice, Baby-Doll Eyes, Protect, Helping Hand, Assist, Baton Pass, Heal Pulse, Misty Terrain, Taunt, Swagger, Icy Wind, Encore, Giga Drain, Follow Me, Volt Switch, Nasty Plot, Acupressure, Foul Play, Ice Beam, Sing, Cosmic Power, Moonblast, Fake Out, Flamethrower, Explosion, Knock Off, Switcheroo, Strength Sap, Defog, Freeze Dry, Nightmare, Dream Eater, Decorate, Wish, Misty Explosion, Dive, Surf
Signature moves:
Shiny Arc | Fairy | Special | 100 Base Power | 10PP | 100% accuracy |
Shiny Ax | Fairy | Special | 90 Base Power | 10PP | 100% accuracy | Use target’s defense to calculate damage.
Shiny Hook | Fairy | Special | 90 Base Power | 10PP | 100% accuracy | Prevents target from switching.
Shiny Sprinkler | Fairy | Status | - BP | 15PP | User, and allies lose status conditions and negative stat drops.
Shiny Balai | Fairy | Status | - BP | 15PP | User and allies are immune to Ground-type moves for 5 turns.
Lyonne | Fairy | Status | - BP | 15PP | All allies are healed by 50% of the user's health.
Signature Z-Move: Shiny Ballista - Converted from Shiny Arc using Makmurium Z | Fairy | Special | 180 Base Power
Stats: 120/45/95/95/95/90
Stats (Mega): 120/50/120/120/120/110

Reasoning: Atsuko Kagari, more commonly known by her nickname Akko, is the number 1 fangirl of Shiny Chariot and the main protagonist of Little Witch Academia. Normal/Fairy as she’s a witch, albeit due to being from a non-magical family, having a low work ethic at first, and having most of her magic unintentionally drained from her by Chariot herself, she was arguably more muggle than witch for the first half of the show. Competitive due to her relationship with Diana. She very much disliked the Cavendish at first due to her greater skill at magic, attitude, and seeming flawlessness. Not helped by her own insecurities about her own magic. Transform references her skill with the Metamorphosis spell. Encore, Decorate, Charm, Follow Me are her showman tendencies, born from Chariot. Prankster and Nasty Plot represent the chaos her impulsiveness and recklessness cause. Dream Eater and Nightmare are from her adventures in Sucy’s mindscape in “Sleeping Sucy”. Signature Moves are the First to Sixth Words to Arcturus. Her mega form represents the seventh. The Seven Words of Arcturus are seven special words that form a spell with the power to break the seal of Grand Triskelion, World-Changing Magic. Grand Triskelion, the ability, represents how using the world-changing magic needed the support of everyone across the nation.

"NOW, I'VE GOT A FIRE IN MY BELLY!"
Pokémon: Natsu Dragneel
Natsu 2018

Stats: 105/135/75/105/90/90
Sig. Moves:
Fire Dragon’s Roar | Fire | Special | 100 Base Power | 25PP | 100% Accuracy | 30% chance of burning.
Fire Dragon's Iron Fist | Fire | Physical | 100 Base Power | 30PP | 90% Accuracy | 30% chance of burning.
Exploding Flame Blade | Fire | Physical | 120 Base Power | 20PP | 90% Accuracy | 40% chance of burning.
Z-Move: Phoenix Blade - Converted from Flare Blitz using Rebukium Z | Fire | Physical | 200 Base Power.
Reasoning: Fire/Dragon because he’s a fire dragon slayer. Flash Fire as he eats fire. E.N.D. and his large stats are because he is a demon made by Zeref, the ultimate dark wizard of Fairy Tail, to kill Zeref. Sig. Moves are his special moves from the anime. Phoenix Blade is his strongest move.

Natsu With Lightning Absorbed Anime

Pokémon: Mega Natsu Dragneel X
Types: Fire/Electric
Ability: Lightning Flame: Immune to Fire moves. When Fire moves hits this pokemon, it raises Atk by 1. When Electric moves hit this pokemon, it raises Sp Atk by 1.
Stats: 105/165/120/135/100/120
Reasoning: This mega is made from Natsu’s lightning flame dragon mode. It uses Electric attacks but isn’t immune to it. Stats also reflects how the mode works, but the incredible power that saps at his stamina.

Pokémon: Mega Natsu Dragneel Y
Types:Fire/Dragon
Ability: Dragon Force - Immune to Fire moves. Boosts Atk and Sp Atk by 1 when hit by one.
Stats: 105/155/95/125/110/110
Reasoning: This mega is made from Natsu’s dragon force, where Natsu reaches the level of a genuine dragon. More well-rounded, but still super powerful. Ability is basically a better Flash Fire.

T.I.A.

Image result for GIFfany

Pokémon: GIFfany
Origin: Gravity Falls
Type: Electric/Fairy
Abilities: Download/Cute Charm
Notable moves: Nasty Plot, Partial Deletion, Imprision, Command, Embargo, Thunder Wave, Psych Up, Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Trick, Last Resort, Destiny Bond, Mean Look, Discharge, Spark, Volt Switch, Charm, Baby-Doll Eyes, Dazzling Gleam, Pursuit, Iron Defense, Shock Therapist, Pixel Gun, Teleport, Sweet Kiss,
Stats: 90/60/75/120/75/70 (500)
Reasoning: The sorta proto-Monika in a lot of ways, although enhanced since she's not based in real life. Electric/Fairy is mainly for her inept ability to be a living spark, and Fairy just for cute appearances. Cute Charm as well. Her movepool and stats are a lot like Monika's, but several moves are removed and also her stats rearranged for a slower, more tanky build. However, she does gain a few more moves to represent her ability to control and shoot out electricity when she possessed an animatronic beaver girl, Pursuit for her hunting of Soos, Teleport for her traveling between different technology, and just a few general Fairy-type moves to fill out that type's representation.

Juvia Lockser | Fairy tail juvia, Fairy tail girls, Fairy tail anime

Pokémon: Juvia Lockser
Origin: Fairy Tail
Type: Water
Ability: Hydrate (Water-type Normalize)
Notable moves: Rain Dance, Hydro Pump, Bouncy Bubble, Scald, Water Body, Water Slicer, Life Dew, Liquidation, Soak, Water Spout, Surf, Waterfall, Whirlpool, Drill Run, Dragon Claw, Water-Make: Blood, Hurricane, Twister, Bullwhip (from Indy), universal TMs since D&P
Signature moves: Water Body: Water-type, Status, 10 PP, Protect clone that only affect physical moves, but gains a 2x weakness to Ice during that turn only. Unlike other clones, it always succeeds but only has +3 priority.
Water Slicer: Water-type, Special, 70 BP, 100% Accuracy, 10 PP, Hits Steel-types super effectively.
Water-Make: Blood: Water-type, Status, 10 PP, Restores 50% of her HP. In Doubles, it can transfer 33% of her max HP to her ally, healing them that same amount.
Z-Move: Wings of Love: Water-type, Special, 200 BP, Requires Juviaium-Z and Hydro Pump to work. Forces the opponent to switch out.
Stats: 100/60/110/80/110/80 (540)
Reasoning: Juvia, a lonesome Water mage, is here. Water-type is obvious for her Water magic mastery. Hydrate only exists just so that all she can do is Water-type moves. Most of her moves are reference to her various skills, like some of the non-Water-type examples being Dragon Claw for Water Claw, Drill Run for Water Drill, and Hurricane/Twister for Water Slicer, and Bullwhip for Water Cane. Her signature moves make use of her skills, like being able to turn into water but becoming weak to ice magic, water blades so sharp, it can cut steel and rock, and able to pass along her blood to heal a downed ally in a emergency, as well as maybe making some herself? Rain Dance is that she can summon rain when she's in a high emotional state and Wings of Love is one of her most powerful attacks.

Signature move: Al Fura: This Pokémon causes an extremely harsh windstorm to blast at the opponent. it has a 15% chance to flinch, and it always changes the opponent's ability to Soundproof, unless they have a unremovable ability. Type: Flying, Damage: 120, Accuracy: 70%
Stats: 80/50/95/115/95/60 (BST: 495)

Reasoning: as usual, I do not have one. but, i got some inspiration from xzg's Rem sub

Pokémon: Lily
Franchise/Origin: Lost Pause (Youtube)
Type: Normal/Steel
Ability: Technician HA: *Mechanic
Notable moves: Gear Grind, Shift Gear, Tail Slap, Stomp, Fire Punch, Low Sweep, Iron Tail, Fling, Mechanic Terrain
Signature move: Wrench Whack: Deals double damage to unevolved Pokémon and smaller than 5 ft. Type: Steel, Damage: 60, Accuracy: 100%, Attack Type: Physical
Z-Move: Technician Check: Heals all Steel Pokémon in the part by 2/3, gives it a +2 in Attack, and sets up a mechanic terrain
Stats: 60/110/90/50/80/110 BST: 500
*If it hits a ally that Steel type, it heals them by 1/4. and if it's wrench was knocked off or flung this turn, she picks it up at the end of the turn and can't be flung or knocked off for 3 turns
Reasoning: I can not think of one. so when I figure out what I want to write, I will put it down here.
Lilium-Z: Used for Lily's Z-Move
Wrench: If held by Lily, it's Steel moves are boosted by 1.5
Fling BD: 110
Mechanics Belt: if held by Lily, it allows her to hold 2 items. insert 2 items into this item (the first one can be any item, the second has to be the wrench). If fling or knock off is used, it uses the first item and then the wrench

Mechanic Terrain: Prevents all steel types from getting status, and all non-flying/ghost steel types take 1/2 damage from super effective moves.

Pokémon: Vritra-Draconic (Uber form)
Type: Dragon/Flying
Ability: Wind Barrier (renamed Delta Stream) / Regenerator
Moves: Mew's movepool since Gen V + Draco Meteor
Stats: 100/120/130/120/130/90 | 690 BST

Using a key item called the Dark Matter Compressor (similar to the Prison Bottle), Vritra can change form between Draconic and Humanoid.

Form: Vritra-Humanoid
Type: Dragon/Normal
Ability: Synchronize / Regenerator
Stats: 100/80/70/120/130/100 | 600 BST

Reasoning: "Black" Vritra is the originator of dark matter—the essence of dragons, a mysterious material capable of being transmuted into just about anything. She is the asexual mother of Kili Surtr Muspelheim, who uses dark matter as a means of creating counterfeit DNA (hence Vritra's relation to Mew) and healing wounds (thus Regenerator). (Volume 1 of the light novel was published mid 2013, i.e. during the fifth generation.)
At first, she wrought havoc in a gargantuan draconic form capable of flight (i.e. part Flying), but in Volume 7 of the light novel, she appeared to the Brynhildr class as a human (Normal) girl ironically resembling a smaller Kili (after creating a wind barrier, hence her signature Ability in Draconic form) in order to negotiate with Tia Lightning, the successor of "Green" Yggdrasil.

Pokémon: Iris Freyja
Type: Dragon/Rock
Ability: Klutz / Competitive
Signature Move: Caduceus Blast - Dragon, Special, 100 BP, 95% Acc, 20 PP | Non-contact Jump Kick variant. Hits Fairy-types through their immunity.
Other Moves: Rest (Yep, that's it.)
Z-Move: Basilisk's Catastrophe - Rock, Special, 200 BP | The use of this move clears all field effects. | Base: Caduceus Blast | Z-Crystal: Basilium Z
Stats: 90/80/90/100/125/70 | 555 BST
Reasoning: Dragon-type because she has "control" over dark matter (the essence of dragons)—using the term loosely because her transmutation attempts always result in explosions (hence Caduceus Blast, named after the staff that constitutes her fictional armament). Rock-type because the events of Volume 3 led her to become the successor of "Red" Basilisk, a dragon whose skin is covered in diamonds (and after whom her Z-Move is named). Klutz and Competitive are personality traits of hers, while Rest is a universal move.
Her signature incantation is, "O holy silver, explode!" This, in part, justifies the immunity bypassing of Caduceus Blast. Basilisk's Catastrophe is a technique that drastically speeds up the effect of time on whatever it encompasses, which is tough to represent in realmons without making it overpowered.

SMG4_Render.png

Pokémon: SMG4
Franchise/Origin: SMG4 (Youtube, Mario Machinimist)
Type: Normal/Fighting
Ability: Plot Armor - If an attack would normally OHKO, the damage is nullified, and half of it is deflected back at the foe. Does not affect moves like Guillotine or Horn Drill.
Notable moves: Any punch and kick move except the elemental ones, Stomp, Detect, Double Team
Signature move: Meme Power | Type:
normal.gif
| PP: 10
Stats: 115/95/75/75/95/115

Reasoning: Normal-type due to him being just a normal guy who does videos, Fighting-type as we are discussing his Mario world self here. Plot Armor is based on how he ultimately decides the fate of others alongside his co-writer, and as for the punch and kick moves, Stomp, Detect and Double Team, I feel they all make sense, having him feel like Mario without stepping too far in. Meme Power is a status move that raises his Attack and Defense each by one stage (think a physical Calm Mind).

Every time I sit down to write up a new sub for a non-themed slate I seem to only come up with 'ordinary' characters who don't make interesting subs. So instead of trying to smash my head against my keyboard to make a Lisbeth Salander sub, here's three not so ordinary resubs.

"Embiggen!"
Pokemon: Ms. Marvel
Franchise:
Marvel
Type:

Ability: Huge Power, Regeneration
Notable Moves: Embiggen Arms, Embiggen Legs, Transform, Close Combat, non-elemental Punch and Kick moves, Bulk Up, Agility, Growth, Sucker Punch, Facade, Minimise, Wrap, Constrict, Block, universal moves such as Substitute.
Embiggen Arms: 90 BP | 100% Accuracy |
|
| 10(16) PP | Increases attack by one stage.
Embiggen Legs: 100 BP | 90% Accuracy |
|
| 10(16) PP | Increases speed by one stage.

G-Max Move: G-Max Embiggen
G-Max Embiggen: Requires Embiggen Arms or Embiggen Legs |
|
| Ms. Marvel embiggens to the size of a tall building, blocking opponents from escaping due to her size.

Stats: 83 / 60 / 78 / 43 / 82 / 87 (433 BST)

Reasoning: Ms. Marvel, aka Kamala Khan, gained her 'embiggen' powers from Terrigen Mists that modified her genetics. These modifications allowed her to change the size of her body parts at will and with enough experience, also alter her appearance to seemingly appear as a completely different person. And that's basically the extent of her powers. All of her moves come from basic fighting skills that are enhanced by her ability to alter the size of whatever she is attacking with. Being able to increase the strength of her moves by enlarging herself gives her Huge Power (similar to Monica from Pokestar Studios). Her HA comes from her improved ability to heal since her powers allow her to greatly improve recovery time from injuries. Of course her signature moves, Embiggen Arms and Embiggen Legs, and her G-Max move, G-Max Embiggen, are just her using her powers. Considering her power is making herself bigger, of course she has a G-Max move instead of a Z-Move or Mega Evolution. The additional effects of those moves are also based on her abilities, which are shown in her stories where she can run much faster or hit much harder when using her powers. She can also elongate her arms to use them as ropes to wrap opponents and get in a few sneaky hits from behind by reaching from unpredictable angles. Normal type because she's just a normal girl (her and every other young adult superhero). Her stats are quite low all around but are compensated by her abilities and moves.

"Ask yourselves, all of you, what power would Hell have if those here imprisoned were not able to dream of Heaven?"

Franchise:
Sandman
Type:

Ability: Bad Dreams, Illusion, Dream Realm
Dream Realm: All abilities are prevented from activating while user in on the field. Upon entry, all opposing Pokemon are inflicted with 'drowsy'. User is also immune to Sleep-status.

Notable Moves: Dark Void, Hypnosis, Spore, Sleep Poweder, Lovely Kiss, Grasswhistle, Sing, Yawn, Sleep Talk, Dream Eater, Nightmare, Night Daze, Night Shade, Psychic, Psyshock, Future Sight, Teleport, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Agility, Mean Look, Shadow Ball, Moonblast, Wake Up Slap, Metronome, universal moves such as Subsitute.
Stats: 139/ 84 / 103 / 151 / 127 / 76 (680 BST) obviously uber tier

Reasoning: Dream is the Lord of Dreams and has control over the dream realm and all that is not reality. They are one of the Endless who are manifestations of reality itself and are as old as creation. Dream themselves can exist in dreams where they has ultimate authority and power but as an Endless he also has vast powers in reality including being able to appear in any form to blend in with whoever is looking at him. Though his powers include god-like abilities such as existing outside of reality itself, being able to manipulate reality at will, extra-dimensional teleportation, etc., this sub focusses mainly on their dream-related powers. The ability, Dream Realm, is a representation of how Dream can control anything that occurs within a dream. As lord of dreams, Dream has access to just about every sleep-inducing and sleep-related ability available. Dream is also omniscient, knowing all of history, past, present and future, giving them Future Sight. As sleeping and dreaming both have affinities with Dark and Psychic typing, Dream is Dark/Psychic.

I am that merry wanderer of the night.
I jest to Oberon and make him smile
When I a fat and bean-fed horse beguile,
Neighing in likeness of a filly foal.

Pokemon: Puck
Franchise:
Shakespeare
Type:

Ability: Prankster

Notable Moves: Ass for a Head, Play Rough, Disarming Voice, Moonblast, Strange Steam, Floral Healing, Flower Shield, Moonlight, Petal Dance, Petal Blizzard, Skitter Smack, Night Shade, Night Daze, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, Taunt, Parting Shot, Sleep Powder, Light Screen, Reflect, universal moves such as Substitute.
Ass for a Head: 40 BP | 100% Accuracy |
|
| 10(16) PP | Transforms the target's head into an ass causing the target's moves to miss until the end of the next turn.

Stats: 60 / 95/ 67 / 86 / 77 / 115 (501 BST)

Reasoning: The mischievous fairy of Oberon's court, Puck, has a penchant for causing mischief. However the magic he uses to cause mischief also makes him a prime candidate for being able to have two lovers fall in love with each other. As long as he doesn't cause chaos along the way including turning a head into an ass that is. Puck has a move pool that consists of moves involve mocking and pranks, such as Taunt and Poltergeist, moves involving flowers (fairies apparent source of magic), such as Petal Dance and Flower Shield, and finally moves that darkness and the moon as that is how he fixes the comedic mess he caused. Don't ask about his stats, I pulled them straight from Bottom's ass.

"I Am He Who Reaps The Dividend; I Am Demiurge and Babyboy, Whose Power Is Without Measure, And I Am Just A Cute Little Creature And That Is Simply The Truth."
Pokémon: Seymour
Origin: Sandsverse
Type: Ground
Ability: Sand Stream / Color Change
Stats: 80/70/70/140/80/140 (580)
Notable Moves: Scorching Sands, Earth Power, Earthquake, Extreme Speed, Thousand Arrows, Psycho Cut, Sacred Sword, Secret Sword, Air Slash, Swords Dance, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Hurricane, Blizzard, Weather Ball, Fell Stinger, Poison Jab, Thunder Wave, Milk Drink
Reasoning: A baby tapir who sells sands. His age is four of an unspecified (but likely very large) unit, except when it isn't, and he's also an ancient god like Elmer and Horace. He sells sand, hence Ground typing, Sand Stream, and basic Ground moves. He has power immeasurable and limitless speed (self-proclaimed), while putting comparatively less emphasis on physical strength, hence his stat arrangement. Color Change is due to his images being of different colors at various times (he claims this is due to the Doppler effect). Extreme Speed is also about the speed thing. Thousand Arrows, the slashing moves, and Swords Dance are due to summoning "a thousand immaterial blades" to destroy Elmer's first jungle (during the Dicta). Psychic because of his mind blasts and other psychic things. Thunderbolt, Thunder, Hurricane, Blizzard, and Weather Ball because he controls the weather. Fell Stinger and Poison Jab because he can poison people to death with his stinger. Thunder Wave because he can paralyze people, and also can make people feel sick with his "electromagnetic presence". Milk Drink because he drinks milk.

funatsugi makie.png

Pokémon: Makie Funatsugi
Origin: Ano Hito no I ni wa Boku ga Tarinai / Sachi's Monstrous Appetite
Type: Psychic/Grass
Ability: Revealing* / Serene Grace
*Revealing: While user is on the field, Pokémon on the other side of the field lose any immunities given by the Normal or Ghost types and have halved evasion.
Stats: 80/60/60/70/80/70 (420)
Notable Moves: Sweet Scent, Attract, Follow Me, Extrasensory, Foresight, Vine Whip, Power Whip, Facade
Reasoning: Makie Funatsugi is a middle-schooler who smells tasty and also cooks tasty food. And is in love with an eldritch whale monster, that too. He has a seedling planted in him that gives him extrasensory abilities, hence Psychic/Grass. He's one of the few people who can see the true forms "Vagrants", and can extend this to other people, hence the signature ability - its exact mechanics are based on how the ability is passively used in one particular fight. (Not just rolling with foresight because when it's used passively the effect breaks when he himself stops looking at the Vagrant in question) Sweet Scent is because his smell attracts Vagrants to him, Attract because this is part of the reason Sachi fell in love with him, and Follow Me from deliberately powering this scent up to distract Hakuja in a fight. Vine Whip and Power Whip because he can manifest vines from the seedling planted in him. Facade because of that one time he tried to look cool in front of Sachi.

"But I don't want to cure cancer. I want to turn people into dinosaurs".
Name: Sauron
Franchise: Marvel
Type: Flying/Dragon
Abilities: Power Drain*/Triage/Illusion
Power Drain*: When the user attacks a target, ability is replaced by that of the target until user switches out. The target's ability is replaced by Rattled until they switch out.
Notable Moves: Air Slash, Brave Bird, Defog, Drill Peck, Dual Wingbeat, Fly, Oblivion Wing, Roost, Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, Dragon Pulse, Outrage, Copycat, Mimic, Stockpile, Energy Ball, Giga Drain, Strength Sap, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Drain Punch, Superpower, Agility, Calm Mind, Hypnosis, Psychic, Psychic Fangs, Poison Fang, Confuse Ray, Shadow Claw, Steel Wing, Bite, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Night Slash
Stats: 75/115/90/115/80/90 (565 BST)

Description: As a young boy, Karl Lykos was bitten by a rogue pteranodon while accompanying a scientific expedition (the Antarctic circle is weird); this incident somehow altered Lykos' genetic structure, forcing him to drain the life energy of others in order to survive. A principled young man, Lykos learned to control this power so as not to kill anyone, working his way through medical school and becoming acquainted with one Charles Xavier. However, when Xavier came to Lykos so he could treat X-man Havoc, some weird byproduct of mutation caused the latent pterodactyl genes to become active, turning him into a super strong pterodactyl-man and also screwing with his head enough to develop megalomaniacal tendencies (while retaining Lykos' impressive intellect); this new persona dubbed itself Sauron after the famous LotR villain (Lykos is canonically a huge Tolkien nerd). As Sauron, Lykos loses any inhibitions to using the full extent of draining power, even being able to drain the powers of superhumans, hence his main abilities; he is also a master of hypnosis thanks to Lykos' studies, able to create illusion to confuse his opponents. STABs are all simple enough, Giga Drain, Drain Punch and Strength Sap are natural extensions of his power, the bite and slash moves come from his raw physical ability, and his hypnosis grants him limited psychic abilities. After some further experimentation by the folks at Weapon X, he can expel energy from his body (Energy Ball), store it for later transformations (Stockpile) and also breath fire because why not? With his vast array of abilities, nothing will stop Sauron from turning humanity into his dinosaurian minions (and also giving us the greatest quote in all of comics. This is not up for debate).

*Note: Before you ask, Sauron actually predates Rogue by over a decade.

Ninetales Dragons' Shampoo
ToadBrigade's Ms. Marvel
okispokis's Sauron

Juvia would've gotten a vote if not for her spammable Protect variation.

(art by Jaynorn Lin)
Name: Groot-T…
Forms: Groot-Twig, Groot-Tiny, Groot-Teen, Groot-Tree
Similar existing Pokémon: Gourgeist, Zygarde, Wishiwashi
Type Set:

Ability: Propagation
Description: OHKO moves fail when used against this Pokemon. If this Pokémon is a Groot at full HP, it changes to Tree form. When in Tree form, a hit that would KO Groot will instead be survived with at least ⅛ maximum HP, and Groot will change to its Twig form. Whenever Groot restores ¼ or more of its maximum HP while in Twig, Tiny, or Teen form, it will change to its next form stage in the order of Tiny, then Teen, then Tree, or straight to Adult if HP becomes full.
Stats:
Twig: 20 / 50 / 75 / 10 / 20 / 10 – 185
Tiny: 40 / 75 / 100 / 20 / 30 / 20 – 285
Teen: 80 / 100 / 120 / 60 / 50 / 75 – 485
Tree: 160 / 150 / 140 / 75 / 60 / 50 – 585
Notable Grass/Normal-type Moves:
Physical: Solar Blade, Wood Hammer, Snap Trap, Seed Bomb, Trop Kick, Grassy Glide, Needle Arm, Power Whip, Razor Leaf, Flail, Rapid Spin, Secret Power, Natural Gift, Double-Edge, Mega Punch, Mega Kick
Special: Solar Beam, Grass Knot, Energy Ball, Giga Drain, Magical Leaf, Petal Dance, Echoed Voice, Wring Out, Uproar
Status: Growth, Grass Whistle, Grassy Terrain, Ingrain, Spiky Shield, Aromatherapy, Stun Spore, Nature Power, Recycle, Leech Seed, Sweet Scent, Mimic, Copycat, Teeter Dance, Tickle, Substitute, Noble Roar, Safeguard
Notable Other-type Moves:
Physical: Body Press, Outrage, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Dig, Brutal Swing, Brick Break, Counter, Bulldoze, Superpower, Hammer Arm, Close Combat, Smack Down, Focus Punch
Special: Weather Ball, Ancient Power, Infestation, Pollen Puff, Dazzling Gleam, Flash Cannon, Night Shade
Status: Amnesia, Geomancy, Rage Powder, Bulk Up, Rototiller, Defog, Grudge, Magic Coat, Rain Dance, Sunny Day
Signature Moves:
Regenerate – Status; This Pokémon heals 1/3 of its maximum HP and switches out. Moves last.
Timber Toss – Physical; Ranged (non-contact); Type: Grass. Power: 110. Accuracy: 90%. Additional Effects: 40% chance to paralyze target. User cannot move next turn.
Physical Wall, Slow Bulky Pivot, Hazard Remover, Physical Wallbreaker, Status Setter, Utility, Stall (Berries + Recycle; pacifist)
A Grass-type guru, Groot has lots of Grass utility, but poor recovery. Groot specializes in regenerative immortality, but that doesn't make him completely invulnerable. Enemies would need to be very weak to not quickly dispose of Groot once his HP is lowered. In most instances, he would not recover to the point of Tiny, much less Teen, let alone restoring his Tree state unless he uses Regenerate.
His Special weakness is the only thing that could lead to the transformation. Otherwise, it will only be triggered by a Physical Wallbreaker.
Regenerate: Slow bulky pivot. Since Groot doubles as a rapid-spinner, this is essential to hopping in, clearing hazards, and escaping with HP to spare.
Geomancy: Groot's strongpoints are Atk and Def. Geomancy is only competitively useful in the interest of SpD and Spe; a boost in SpA doesn't add much to Groot's power, and is useless except for boosting his coverage.
Recovery moves: Since recovering HP is the only way to come back from tanking a would-be OHKO, Groot's recovery options are limited to Giga Drain (low SpA prevents this from being helpful), Big Root (held item; dependent on other recovery effects), Shell Bell (held item; dependent on damage dealt), Leftovers (held item; restores minimal HP), Ingrain (restores minimal HP), Leech Seed (restores minimal HP considering Groot's high HP threshold), Berries + Recycle (Stall layout only), and Grassy Terrain (restores minimal HP). As a Stall, Groot is primarily pacifist, since a combination of the above is necessary for an effective recovery method with minimal offensives (such as Spiky Shield).
Please comment; I'm willing to make changes if you think it can use improvements!
