Announcement Bright Powder, Sand Veil, Snow Cloak, Lax Incense, and Leppa Berry are now banned! [Leppa Berry unbanned, see post #3]

Following the previous vote here and the council survey here, we have decided to hold another vote on luck items / abilities. The votes are below. Lax Incense was not included in the sheet as an oversight but seeing as it serves the same exact purpose as Bright Powder, it will also be banned.

This is mirroring SS OU's decision, as the items and abilities raise evasion, which is uncompetitive. Leppa Berry was banned after mass amounts of complaining about a bot grabbing games on ladder while abusing Leppa Berry to create practically endless battles. The decision to ban Leppa Berry also avoids future conflicts with EBC as well as removes this disruption from the metagame.

After discussion with PS! Upper Staff, the Leppa Berry will be unbanned when a permanent solution regarding the ladder bots is reached. Banning the bots is not currently possible on a policy or technical level because the bots are not breaking any PS! rules, and they can simply make new accounts should their current accounts be banned. It is my fault that this was not communicated within the initial post, and I greatly apologize for the miscommunication.

The PS devs have created a solution for the ladder bots and as such Leppa Berry will be unbanned. Thank you all for your patience & thank you to the PS devs for their hard work
