Thanks for reviving Random Matchup Battlers! That new thread you made has brought life to the group! It's much more organized than the old team-rating thread I made, and hopefully it'll bring in more people.

I will not be attending anymore VGC events as of a decision I made in May of 2013, to concentrate on ice hockey, and do to competitive pokemon losing it's joy. So all I can say is TheMantyke is fucked up. Seriously I asked for an appeal, and I made a mistake taking him up on his offer to listen. He put another users words in my mouth, and acted like an asshole. Unprofessional staff will eventually be smogon's downfall. Wish I could say the same for Nugget Bridge, but they seem to know what they're doing. Hopefully they can stay like that, but when they get bigger, I'm not so sure... I learned about RNG abuse fairly recently, but haven't yet been able to figure it out. It's essentially manipulating what pokemon appear by setting a specific time on your DS, taking a certain amount of steps, and a variety of other things that allow you to give your pokemon perfect IVs and make them shiny if you desire.
