  1. Effective Combinations in the B/W Metagame

I didn't see this posted yet, so: Starmie / Ferrothorn / Volcarona Basically Starmie spins for Volcarona and Ferrothorn sets up Spikes and serves as the normal defensive beast he is.
  2. Excadrill is for Noobs!: A Bulky Offensive Team!

Not much to add after so many rates but I'd recommend running Fire Blast on Salamence, as running Roost on it is outclassed by Dragonite. Salamence really only shines over dragonite with its offensive stats, making Fire Blast an excellent option over Roost, and allows you to sweep mindlessly...

Hello all. I have recently developed a core that I believe is relatively solid. This core includes Vaporeon, Forretress and Latias. Besides Thundurus, is there anything that this core seems weak to? I am considering abandoning the core altogether unless someone believes it has some potential.

I am using ScarfTar because without it Thundurus walks all over me. And ScarfTar isn't all that bad.. Thank you though, I think I'll stick with Vappy

I'm new to the Stall play style but I am attempting to build a stall team. Which set up would work better: ScarfTar, Vaporeon, Forretress, Latias, (Gengar?) OR ScarfTar, Jellicent, Forretress, Latias And help would be appreciated. *Also, would a spin blocker be absoutely necassary?
  6. Dittos Galore! (Finished! Mods, please lock. Distribution postponed until Tuesday!)

A response to Reds giveaway: How did Ash defeat Brock for his first badge? After training Pikachu and causing him to become electrically charged by using a water wheel Ash had requested a rematch. During the match Pikachu had used an Electric attack, and this time it wasn't directed at Onix...
  7. Far Beyond Driven

I agree with Lord Liam on the name and most of what he had said. Perhaps Latias could be named Becoming, as it is becoming more and more used, and becomes stronger after few turns of set up. Haha, anyways about the actual team.. Iknow this has been mentioned already but I see a rather large...

So I'm trying to make a team that includes my favorite Pokemon, Gengar. If anyone can give me some good partners I would really appreciate it. I was thinking that these partners should have a weakness to Fighting or Ground, allowing Gengar to switch in easily. Tyranitar came to mind, and I know...

Is Forretress only useful on stall teams because it is set up bait for offensive teams? I would like to use on a balanced or offensive team, but the whole concept seems flawed. One more question: What Dragon works best with Magnezone? I think Latias works with Magnezone slightly better than...
  10. Gojira (Peaked #109)

Terrakion usually stops Drizzles main offensive threat, Thundurus. But Virizion would destroy Rain teams too. I have been testing Scarf Tyranitar over Terrakion, and it worked out a lot better than I had expected. With Scarf Tyranitar, I'm not sure if Blissey or Chansey is necassary as it might...

  12. Gojira (Peaked #109)

Ohh! Thats a marvelous idea. The typing is very similiar, and Scarfed Tyranitar can still check Thundurus.. Thanks for idea, and thank you very much for the rate. And to everyone else that has rated this: Thank you very much, I really do appreciate it. And lol at Exploding Walrus, I'm glad I...

Can someone give me a complete list of generally accepted pokemon hacks on the Wi-Fi trading threads? I am looking into starting a thread of my own, but I would like at least some knowledge of it. Thanks if you actually respond to this.

4drag2mag seems too synergystically imbalanced for me to use (although PK Gaming and Jabba could pull it off), and is still relatively uncommon. I was refering to a less extreme version, with simply 1 dragon, and a magnezone. I just don't fully understand why its usage is so low. The concept...

Is there any reason why the Magnezone + Dragon combo is rather uncommon? Is there a Pokemon that rips right through it or something? I just don't see why it isn't used more, which is detering me from using it. Also, can someone recommend a AR brand that they think is the best? Thanks in advance.

Hmm, thank you for that. Lol @ Shedinja, I love that little guy. One more question: Would Toxic Spikes function ok on an offensive/ Balanced team or is that whole concept just flawed, and should I focus more on spreading Paralysis/ WoW?

Any ideas for a Gengar team? So far I'm thinking I'll start off with Tyranitar + Gengar + Magnezone core, any other thoughts or ideas are appreciated.
