Just echoing the notion that Aegislash should be A+. The incredible movepool and wide variety of viable sets makes it an extremely versatile mon that basically has no one true counter, at least until you figure out what its set actually is. Mandibuzz, one of its most common switch-ins, might...

Alternatively, lead scarf Hydreigon and OHKO it with Draco turn 1 while they stay in. This strat probably doesn't work above like 1600 1700 ELO.

Like Corona already said I feel like running Mystic Water/Lefties/heavy duty boots over sash gets you more utility out of Araquinid since not much really OHKOs it anyway, but I understand running sash just to better guarantee your chances of getting the web up. Although something I’ve found is a...

If you seriously think Dracovish is the only reason people are using Ferrothorn or Seismitoad then I don't know what to tell you. Ferro has been a staple on OU teams for the past like 9 years and Seismitoad provides great team compression atm thanks to its access to rocks, its ability to check...

Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion (Usage stats in post #944)

Okay, first of all, Dracovish is pretty trash versus a proper stall team. It's really not that hard for them to run an anti-Dracovish measure; either a Seismitoad/Pex/Ferro paired with a Wish support mon (or just Vaporeon on its own) will pretty much ensure that it'll never be able to break...

Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion (Usage stats in post #944)

I really don't understand the claims that Dracovish is broken, especially with freaking G-Darm still running around. IMO it's basically functioning as Medicham right now; it's absurdly strong and absolutely smashes slower teams in addition to usually getting at least a kill or two versus most...

Data Usage-Based Tier Update for December 2019 (here comes UU!)

The movepool differences don’t matter because of nature mints. You can have an amped Toxtricity and use a mint to make it modest, but it’ll stay amped and still have amped’s moves. Competitive-wise they’re the exact same Pokemon.

Data Usage-Based Tier Update for December 2019 (here comes UU!)

Pretty sure they don’t have ability differences and with nature mints there should be functionally no difference between the two of them.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers Ability: Water Absorb EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Scald - Haze - Wish - Protect Been getting decent utility out of this mon as of late. It's one of the more reliable defensive checks to both Galarian Darm and Dracovish (the latter thanks...

Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion (Usage stats in post #944)

I sincerely doubt this. Without Dynamaxing I really don’t see Gyara being all that threatening; it would pretty much just get hard stopped by Ferrothorn, Mandibuzz, and basically anything else that can comfortably take its attacks and threaten it offensively, which describes a good chunk of...

Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion (Usage stats in post #944)

I think one of the most unhealthy aspects of this meta is the sheer number of games where winning a single speed tie is legitimately your best/only win con. I've seen/had so many matches where whoever wins the coin flip between Dynamaxed Gyarados and Dynamaxed Ditto literally just wins on the...

    Pokémon Dracovish

He may be the ungodly product of reckless scientific necromancy who suffers nearly every second of his cruel existence thanks to his horrifyingly botched anatomy that makes even basic functions of life such as breathing and swallowing absurdly difficult and exhausting, but at least he can 2HKO...

Resource USUM OU ULTRA Viability Ranking Thread

I nommed Daunt for a rise a long time ago and my opinion on it still stands. Knock Off is just extremely spammable in this meta as the only mons who can really switch into Crawdaunt's STAB, namely Bulu and Fini, both hate losing their lefties and have a difficult time recovering enough health to...

Resource USUM OU ULTRA Viability Ranking Thread

M-Latios from A to A-: disagree Saying it's outclassed by Zam kinda misses the point of using the mon, I feel. You use Lati because of its typing and incredible bulk, in addition to the fact that it's immune to all forms of hazards except rocks. That last point in particular in makes it a boon...

Resource USUM OU ULTRA Viability Ranking Thread

This guy should definitely rise. Banded threatens a lot of the fat balance teams running around right now as very few things resist its STAB, and even the few mons that do (Fini, Bulu) still have to take an extremely heavy hit and risk losing their item upon switching into it. It completely...
