  1. SpA/Atk mixed BP team (2300)

It looks like a well-thought out take on a team concept that's been around for a while. The latest thing in Baton Pass teams is Mental Herb Scolipede, so you can scout out the Taunters and get off that crucial pass. Drifblim is a good idea to get around all those Sacred Swords. I'm not a BP...
  2. Partly Cloudy with a 100% Chance of Berries! (First RMT)

Since I haven't tested this team myself, it would be helpful if you played some games and told us what Pokemon give you trouble. However, I don't see any glaring weaknesses. A Trevenant moveset that has worked well for me is Substitute/Leech Seed/WoW/Curse. This allows you to not become setup...
  3. Yet another Gen 6 Stall

One notable feature of ObiStall, and most stall teams that followed, was that it had many roles it needed to fill: Spikes, SR, Tspikes, Rapid Spin, spin blocker, Heal Bell, Wish, sandstorm, pHazing, etc, not to mention walling the offensive Pokemon of the time. The problem of satisfying all...
  4. No Mega, No Problem (Balanced Weather-less Team)

Seems like a pretty cool team with a diversity of attacking types and flexible defensive play available. However, it looks like Gliscor and other physical walls who you don't hit supereffectively can cause problems (Gliscor seems to beat all the phys attackers, Heatran, and Mandibuzz). My idea...
  5. Team built around Mega Gyarados.

It seems like you're building based around types/weaknesses yet you have three water weaks. Azumarill and other M Gyarados, for example, have almost perfect super-effective coverage against your team. You're also weak to other things like Ferrothorn. As you may have noticed, Mega Gyarados sweeps...
  6. Picasso's Palette (a gen 6 RMT)

You know, Heatran gets Ancientpower which probably hits harder than Stone Edge (depending on EVs). The boosts are fun too. That's what I use on my bulky Heatran and it's OHKOd all Talonflames.
  7. Takeshi's Castle (RMT Stall)

It's a nice balanced stall team. I had fun playing with it, especially that Reflect Type Latias! Unfortunately I think a major problem is that you aren't doing enough back to your opponent--sponging hits alone is not going to win games. Particularly, many Pokemon who cannot be poisoned (Gliscor...
  8. RMT the gods of OU (peaked 2200)

This team is too frail. I understand that it's HO, but a good scarfer or Azumarill can take out most of your guys. I'm not sure how you got to 2200 like this, or maybe I'm just not understanding how the team plays (I tried using it, with MLucario over Kanga). Can you tell us how you deal with those?
  9. XY OU (Prebank) Metagame Breaking Semi-Stall!

Introduction: This is a team made for the post-Kangaskhanite XY OU metagame, and with Pokemon Bank coming soon, this RMT is a final farewell to a pure, beautiful metagame. The team has served me well on the ladder, with a record of 72-8 in the current, stable form. The fundamental concept is to...
  10. Pokémon Gyarados

I like EQ as well because of Mold Breaker. I think Ice Fang may be better than Stone Edge because it gives extra super-effective coverage.
  11. Pokémon Heliolisk

I was only talking about the double battles context though. Offensive weather teams seem to be more viable there and Round could actually do real damage there.
  12. Pokémon Heliolisk

Unfortunately Heliolisk doesn't get Heat Wave (bred with Zard). I was trying to think of how this guy could use Solar Power in double battles. His movepool isn't that great, but Parabolic Charge could be used to offset Solar Power damage (and it's not that weak in doubles). Also, he can abuse...
  13. Rarely Used (RU) Tier

I've been using Eviolite Piloswine with the following moves: SR Ice Shard Icicle Crash Earthquake It's quite bulky and can get you some key KOs.
  14. Stall #1: A study in purple and white

Hi all, I'm getting pretty bored with this team I made (current rank: 6, 1345), so I'll post it to give all my valuable insight to all of you. Yet another of my genius stall teams! Chansey @ Eviolite Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def Nature: Calm - Seismic Toss - Aromatherapy -...
  15. First Attempt at Gen 5 Stall

Long Boring Introduction and History If you're not interested in this part, skip to the section "The Team." The focus this generation seems to be on a very offensive style of play, with teams focused around weather sweepers and threats from the past such as Latios, Darkrai, and Deoxys...
  16. Heavy Offense

Fans of heavy offense should try NU, where this style can really shine. That is because there are few powerful priorities and all walls are beatable (Dusclops, Lickilicky, Quagsire, etc...instead of Blissey, Rotom, Swampert).
  17. NU Discussion Thread (Mark II)

The Stealth Rockers in NU aren't as reliable as those in other tiers. There's nothing like Registeel or Azelf that we can use. That said, I've noticed that most teams do in fact carry Stealth Rock, probably to hit all the SR weak Pokemon here.
  18. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 20 (READ THE OP)

Is it possible to get each Pokemon's win % in the monthly stats? (i.e., the % of games won by teams with that Pokemon as a member)
  19. NU Discussion Thread (Mark II)

CB Aggron? How much better is Aggron than Relicanth? He has 20 more base attack, arguably a better typing, but does that push him over? I'm not doubting it's good, just asking since I haven't seen very many people use CB Relicanth even in NU. Personally, I like the Aggron sub-punching set...
