today i was playing an uber match and i used encore as a palkia used spacial rend, doing 40%. Then next turn, the spacial rend did only 30%, which is realized is IMPOSSIBLE. I thought it might have just been a glitch in the damage formula, or some other weird effect. Then, around a half hour...

i am currently using a team with shaymin on it, and of course it has the move seed flare. i have used seed flare around 20 times now, and it has NEVER lowered the foes special defence. i was wondering if this is a mistake on shoddy, or if i am just very unlucky.
