XY Suspect Testing Round 1 np: Michael Jackson - (extreme)Speed Demon (READ POST #1278)

My two cents: M-Lucario: He's broken like everyone says for the arguments that everyone says. He has few counters and too much ATK, SPA and SPE and even his defenses combined with his typing are good, good ability, Nasty Plot, Sword Dance, good STAB and good coverage. Genesect: he's the king...

    Other Good Cores

I'm actually using this core with Sludge Bomb over Knock Off on M-Venu, a physical spread on Roto and Taunt over Toxic on Mandi. Is really effective ! The cherry on top is using Heatran to compleate the FWG core and adding a Dragon resistance. Mandibuzz is a bulky beast and Foul Play is insane...

Other XY OU Viability Ranking Thread (B- and C+ Pokemon discussion)

In the case of the ChestoRest set, the lack of passive recovery is mitigated by the full heal and the status heal, that's pretty unique since it's one of the best users of this strategy. Pain Split has to be used in the right moment, i'm with you when you saying that is not a reliable recovery...

Other XY OU Viability Ranking Thread (B- and C+ Pokemon discussion)

I support Rotom-W for S-Rank It's an incredible tank full of resistances and immunity (Ground and the new Paralysis), he's one of the premier Talonflame counters second only to Heatran i believe. It has only one weakness in Grass and the fact that a lot of Genesect started to run Energy Ball...

    Two different stories (peaked 2000+)

Ok guys, i've edited the OP with your changes, now i've less weakness ! See the Closing Words to see the weakness that i've spotted About the Modest nature on Gene, i've to try that, Excadrill is a bitch, i've to see if it's worth

    Two different stories (peaked 2000+)

Actually no, because i don't run any Physical move on Genesect, Foul Play is no longer resisted by him due to Steel-nerf and the +1 ATK makes Genesect more suscetible to Prankster-Swagger abusers

    Two different stories (peaked 2000+)

Thanks for the rate guys ! I start testing even AV Tyr and Lando-T and the team is a lot better with them ! You were right ! AV Tyr eat Special moves (even SE one) for breakfast and the lack of recovery is compensated by the +1 boost, i've Pursuit & Stone Edge replacing SR & Roar and they comes...

    Two different stories (peaked 2000+)

Hey TCR, thanks for the rate ! Yeah, i enjoy playing the RP set on Genesect instead of the usual Scarf Gene ! About the rate, i never think about Amoonguss and, as you said, spikes are not so useful today while Spore can be reeeeeally good even with the return of the old sleep mechanic, so is...

    Two different stories (peaked 2000+)

Hi guys ! I'm Ewil and that's a long time that i don't post a RMT in OU and with this new generation, is the right situation to try with another one with a team that gave me some success and satisfactio, but that needs some fix yet ! Team Presentation Analysis Tyranitar @ Assault...

Battle Spot Special Season 1: Gen 6 Pokémon Only!

lol k XD Anyway i'm wondering who can be the better partner for Talonflame to clean the field from his counters in this meta and i came out that the two big counters to Talon are Barbanacle & Tyruntrum, so Grass and Ice for countering them. The only one that i think about is Greninja with Ice...

Battle Spot Special Season 1: Gen 6 Pokémon Only!

Did you score some specific KOs to put 8 in ATK or is just to get a lefty number ? I use 252/252 Aegi with your moves, but with Weakness Policy, it comes in handy a lot of times, specially the first time since your opponent gets wrecked after Aegi tanks his/her SE hit and rapes back

Battle Spot Special Season 1: Gen 6 Pokémon Only!

Actually i'm running a Scarf Noivern w/ Draco Meteor/Hurricane/Switcheroo/U-Turn He's pretty versatile and can cripple opposite wall with his Scarf without loosing too much speed thanks to his natural stats, u-turn is for scouting. The only bad thing about this set is the accuracy of DM and...

    Other Viable Megas

Personally, i've tried DD M-Tyranitar as a late game sweeper. If you can create the right situation, is almost impossibile to beat. He's basically weak only to Powerful Fighting STAB moves and to STAB Earthquakes coming from high ATK pokemon (and pretty fast too lol). Swithing in on things like...

Other The state of entry hazards for gen 6

I think that the one who suffers more from defog are Spikes. At least T-Spikes leaves their status on the pkmn who enter before the defog user. The damage done by Spikes can be recovered with Leftovers/Wish/Recover/etc and you use three turns to set up all, when, actually, you only leave a layer...

    Pokémon Aurorus

Outside of some niches in being a second Hail setter, i don't see much other use of her :( The other utilities that she has are slow CM user (but she's prone to all the status moves, so she can't be good at it). Special Tank, maybe with Roar/Dragon Tail (that seems the better role for her) and...

Pokémon Dragalge (HA confirmed to be Adaptability)

My Dragalge learns Shadow Ball via TM, another usefull move (not that much, but i think that deserves a mention)

The Top 10 Titans of the 5th Gen NU Metagame [General Discussion]

Samurott He can go Physical, Special and even Mixed, so is a bit hard to guess wich set is running, not counting that the sets changes their counters. He can also use sub salac set and in the standard Special set, he can function as a Hazards stopper with Taunt and decent speed. With his...
