Saw this, and decided to only skim this warstory. The commentary didn't help at all, and I couldn't tell what was going on without sprites. The battle had no good prediction from what I saw, and the format was really, really bland.

This is how I felt on the whole, except I felt the battle wasn't as well planned out as Tea gave you credit too. The commentary was there, it stated what you were going to do, but wasn't much else. There wasn't anything exciting. Not much colors. No percentages. The sprites came out nicely...

Pretty much how I felt, but the commentary was really really lacking. I'd give it a 6.5~7.3/10, for some gimmicky sets and bad commentary.

If you didn't know, T-tars don't carry Flamethrower very often in Gen IV. In Gen V, it's a different story. So maybe he thought a Gen V strategy would work in Gen IV, in which case it did.

The only good thing about this warstory was it's format. And even at that, it lacked sprites which made it hell to follow. Boundless misplays, almost every 2 turns had at least 1. And if you're a terrible battler, maybe you shouldn't make warstories. But then again, I'm a hypocrite on that one.

I used a kingdra-based RD team on one of my friends who was using a blizzard team. And quite surprisingly, I won. I think using moves like hail/sandstorm/sunny day/rain dance are more effective in this metagame than just having instant-weather inducers. There's only a 50/50 chance that your...

I once tried this style tournament with, like, 7 of my friends in a mini-tournament. It worked out pretty well, but I don't think this style would comply really well with large tournaments. And seeing how 128-man is pretty much the standard, bar Round Robin's, DotA would probably be among Round...
