alive (30) vs (70) dom - dom has a lot of experience and alive has affirmed itself in recent tournaments in ssnl.

Hijasu (40) vs (60) DEG - Hijasu stays good in the past generations but it's DEG.

ayedan (65) vs (35) WhalemanCheng - They're both good, but ayedan might have the advantage.

SoulWind (51) vs (49) Solerme - Soulwind has improved a lot since the World Cup and I was very surprised that he is progressing so quickly. Solerme is not very well known in 1v1 but he anticipates really well.

Alive vs dom. Dom has more experience overall and his teams are unorthodox.
Hijasu vs DEG. Deg might have retired but certainly isnt ready to drop this series just yet. Hijasu also has scarily good techs that can catch opps off guard (last year i think he didnt drop a single bw game and it was bring 1 not bring 3 pick 1. How is that even possible)
Ayedan vs wmc. Rooting for u dude. Both good players but i feel like wmc wants this more. Looking forward to watching these.
Soulwind vs Solerme. If SoulWind preps appropriately I think he definitely has a chance to take this. Sorry solerme havent seen u play much, but gl to u both.

Might as well do predictions myself (Oh and Congrats to everyone who has come this far) even if I have like nothing to go off (except for the stuff I know) but lets go

alive vs dom- Obvious Stuff is obvious, dom is great in the past gens even though his main is ORAS when its not Gen7 (not that it matters)
Hijasu vs deg - 1. Amethyst4Life 2. Hijasu has been great in the past gens but Im not counting this out for deg, but im going with Hijasu to win
ayedan vs WhalemanCheng- This is just a game of who wants it more and I think it will be WMC who gets it on that basis
Soulwind vs Solerme- Im just going on who I know has experience in Soulwind, add that Solerme didnt get that high. So Soulwind it is.

Round 2 predictions

TogliBabineBoeuf (#1) vs (#8) alive- Togli has came out of nowhere and got this far and #1 seat in playoffs. I see him winning this against alive.

Magma (#2) vs (#12) DEG- Honestly, Magma isn't too bad but I see DEG pulling this one off and beating Magma with his experience in the tiers.

TonyFlygon (#3) vs (#10) WhalemanCheng- I respect both of these players highly and I just lost to WhalemanCheng but, I see Tony winning this one. Tony won dpp and did well in the other cups as well so I honestly seeing him winning here.

Wanonymous1616 (#4) vs (#6) SoulWind- Highlight match for me, Wanon and Soulwind did great in the cups so I can see both of them winning in some way. I just give Soulwind the edge here since he has a little more experience and has people helping him out along the way.
