Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Trick
- Iron Head
- Zen Headbutt / Moonblast
- Fire Punch / Rest

Jirachi serves as a great Steel-type Choice Scarf user in 1v1 that can also deal with prominent stall Pokemon such as Cresselia and Chansey thanks to Trick. Iron Head's threatening 60% flinch chance when coupled with Serene Grace allows Jirachi to win certain matchups that it normally shouldn't, such as Spectrier and Rhyperior. Zen Headbutt hits Pokemon like Urshifu-R and Zeraora that Iron Head would prove ineffective against while also making additional use of Serene Grace. Alternatively, Moonblast can be ran over Zen Headbutt with an EV spread of 12 HP / 104 Atk / 28 Def / 132 SpA / 232 Spe and a Naive nature to beat some Urshifu-S variants outside of Assault Vest and Choice Band. Fire Punch acts as coverage to win against certain Steel-types like Genesect and Ferrothorn, which Jirachi would otherwise be helpless against. Rest can replace Fire Punch to beat certain stall Pokemon like Registeel and Galarian Corsola more reliably. Due to Jirachi's typing, Fire-, Dark-, and Ground-types like Heatran, Urshifu-S, Garchomp, and Landorus-T prove to be threatening against it. As a result, Water- and Dragon-types like Primarina, Tapu Fini, and Haban Berry Zygarde make for good partners.

Jirachi serves as a great Steel-type choice user in the 1v1 metagame with a valuable move that is Trick to deal with prominent stall Pokemon such as Cresselia and Chansey. Iron Head is Jirachi's STAB move of choice due to its threatening 60% flinch chance when coupled with Serene Grace, allowing it to win certain matchups that normally shouldn't be possible include some (realistic) examples - mons you'd lose to unless u get 1-2 flinches. Zen Headbutt acts as both STAB and coverage to hit Pokemon like Urshifu-R and Zeraora that Iron Head would prove ineffective against while also making use of Jirachi's ability in Serene Grace. move moonblast here Fire Punch acts as coverage to win against certain Steel- types like Genesect and Ferrothorn which Jirachi would otherwise be helpless against. Alternatively, Moonblast can be ran over Zen Headbutt with an EV spread of 12 HP / 104 Atk / 28 Def / 132 SpA / 232 Spe and a Naive nature to beat most some Urshifu variants most isn't accurate, outside of Assault Vest and Choice Band. Rest is another option to replace Fire Punch to beat certain stall Pokemon like Registeel and Corsola-G more reliably. Due to Jirachi's typing in Steel and Psychic, Fire, Dark, and Ground- type Pokemon like Heatran, Urshifu, Garchomp, and Landorus-T prove to be threatening against it. I had to make some additional adjustments in order for this to be closer to the character limit, so tag me once you implement it so I double check it.
