Taking this over from IC last year so returning for a second year are LT Interviews starting with the mono enthusiast Ferno.

Question #1: alright so you qualified in Cycle 3 in 2nd do you think you could have done better or are you satisfied with this position?
Answer #1: i probably could have qualified earlier if i wanted but i didnt know it was even a thing until a few days before cycle 3 ended, aand nah i'm fine with 2nd seed, chait's a pal so i'm cool we both qualified

Question #2: what tactic did you use when laddering if any tactic at all?
Answer #2: none, just grinded games for a bit, this tiers so fast i dont need to snipe or anything

Question #3: Your first opponent is Xstatic, are you looking forward to this match and do you believe you can win?
Answer #3: yeah i've heard of him, seen him in the mono community which is where i came from for this, i think i like my chances of winning as i got him a few times laddering to qualify and i believe i beat him mostly, though ladder and the tour itself are different things

Question #4: Which matchup for round 1 are you most looking forward to?
Answer #4: definitely my boy Chaitanya's game, he's gonna lose but hey it'll be fun, your game v dom should be the most competitive tho

Question #5: Any words to your fellow qualifiers?
Answer #5: nope, just hf all. also play more tiers than just 1v1, it's lame

ayedan vs Elo Bandit, while cteaming is an incredibly viable way to win tours, you gotta be good at it, and aidan's form of cteaming involves things like Z-Iron Tail Lycanroc, so... Elo Bandit wins by simply changing teams.

dom vs Scraftionite, he never loses when rushing into battles randomly clicking buttons

Baleblaze vs Freddy Kyogre, HARD call. Bale strikes me as the kind of player who needs to play on a regular basis in order to maintain skill, and as of current times, he hasn't been playing much gen 7, while Freddy has.

Chaitanya vs Chickenpie2, another HARD call. Basically deg vs cp2, which means deg would only lose to stupid shit, and cp2 doesn't make stupid shit; he makes weirdly good shit, but not stupid shit.

UBERLandon21 vs ggopw, yet another HARD call. Normally I would 100% lean in favor of landon, but from what I've seen, he seems to be trying the glyx approach of somehow getting better at 1v1 without playing much, which hasn't been working out very well for him. ggopw on the other hand, has had surprisingly consistently good performances in 1v1 as of late, winning ssnl AND making high qualifying ranks for the lt iirc.

toadandhishaxx vs ryyjyywyy, one stalls outside the battle, the other stalls inside the battle. There will be no winners here, only a great amount of lost patience.

Lancer Fr vs Grain2Sel, While Lancer has dabbled in cteaming before, grain's teams only reliably lose to hard and particular cteams, in addition to having quite a knack for being able to luck out wins.

Ferno vs Xstatic Cold, I could see this going one of two ways; either A: Ferno takes my advice and goes the cteam route, getting one of the easiest 3-0's in any 1v1 tournament ever, or B: Ferno goes at it the hard way, without cteaming, against one of the best coinflippers in the meta. Ferno could still win this way, though it'd be very difficult, and a lot less likely.
