HAII guess i'm trying this again :3c last week i went 14-10 which is a step up from the week before as at least i went positive this time BUT it was mostly carried by getting 7/8 mu's in the raduology vs delemonsters series so i will keep working on my accuracy. to summarize last week it seems i was the only person in the entire universe that saw that heatrans win coming now onto this week
Hellfire Heatrans
4-4 Trigger-Happy Thwackeys
SV Bo7: RTM vs
Blanched - I wrote last week that the Heatrans managers really needed to start winning games to give their team any chance at winning weeks and then RTM won his match and pushed the Heatrans over the edge by 1 game so it seems I was right in this regard. RTM is generally competent and his losses were to strong players so I wouldn't be surprised to see him seize the momentum and finish the season positive but I did say last week I will be bolding Blanched from here on and then he did actually win so I shall keep that up. He also regains the aura he lost last week from running out of bo7 as he is back in the slot so he seems in a pretty good position to win this match here.
SV:
Akuu vs DripLegend - I didn't watch either of Akuu's games nor do I know who they r but they won both times and are 2-0 so best records on the Heatrans, gonna assume baseline competence; Drip slotted himself back into bo5 after losing in bo7 last week to delemon using the same team like 5 times (lol) which is a low aura move + he's gonna be busy with WCOP finals this week (I hope for his sake..) so I think he loses
SV:
Indi01 vs Miyoko - I'm 0-2 in bolding Indi BUT I did get succesfully away with double bolding against Miyoko last week and avoided CAP OF THE WEEK back to back weeks so I'm gonna bold Indi one more time but if this goes poor again it's probably over for me </3
SS Bo7: stravench vs
Mishlef - bizarre slotting by the heatrans manager as stravench was benched after losing 1 (one) singular game and then w3 he was slotted in again and he won 1 (one) singular game and immediately got promoted to the bo7 slot. mishlef another player that i think is better than most people rate him as and has been pretty competent this tour. rooting for stravench tho as he escapes the clutches of the cringe loser ss bo5 slot that only losers (me) play
SS: Nick vs
xdRudi.exe - Nick seems to be going through it (slotted self in bo5 = negative aura as discussed before) and Rudi is 2-0 not to sheet look but feels like an easy bold as I said last week too that Rudi's just p good. As discussed in the RTM predict the managers kinda need to lead by example so I hope Nick can turn his season around in the low aura SS bo5 pool home to noobs like me and the revolving door of whatever the Rhyperiors got going on
SM:
Sanshokuinsumireko vs Waylaid - I gassed this mf Waylaid up to the moon last week and he lost to zo (who btw I think is good i wna put that out there bc it seems to be a very hot take) so I can't in good faith bold him again meanwhile sansho returned from his vacation and went right back to winning this seems like a hl for the week tho v cool pairing
ORAS:
Mubs vs Irene - Irene picked right up where LPZ left up and the thwackeys seem to have this slot down to a science (non mainers fire emoji) BUT I've bolded Mubs both times and he's yet to burn me so I will keep that up, think this is highkey a fun ORAS mu tho I don't really know whos building this slot so im gonna assume Radu so good shit there brother
BW: Baddy vs
LpZ - the other succesful nonmainer Radu slot seems to have ran into a lot weaker of an opponent; LPZ has looked p good so gonna keep bolding him for now til he runs into a bigger challenge that being said Baddy subbed into BW OU vs me in roapl last week (and wuda won if i didnt crit ngl but not important) so they might have some secret BW swag lined up
overall: think i'm just more of a fan of the heatrans than the average prediction writing population BUT i really do think it's kinda important RTM and Nick continue to win at least 1 game between the two of them if they wanna keep having a chance at winning weeks (and I can only keep this Indi bolding up for so long... don't let me down here. Thwackeys r good but as I said about them and panchams too last week it's a lineup that's very reliant on manager support so them crashing and burning at any point would not surprise me if stable get's busy irl or burnt out
RPS Rhyperiors 5-3 Playful Panchams
SV Bo7:
Lumii vs Kaif - Kaif kinda sold last week, as i said i think he's trying to do too much with this lu and I don't really buy it. Lumi lost to eblurb and apparently the two of them have beef but now that that's over he can hopefully lock in and win the rest of his weeks vs weaker opponents. actually im bolding lost to emil vs won vs emil what am i doing here w.e i have faith in lumi to not drop a game for the rest of the tour #swag
SV:
Kala chasmah vs Vertigo - Kala chasmah heroically defeated rssp last week and succesfully graduated from SV3 academy which i can only commend them for shoutouts lumi support blood runs thicker. vertigo aka pierre is the kjdaas of 2024 but betrayed my bold with a loss last week so i will revoke my support for now
SV: Murm vs
bea - talk about low aura moves. Murm is the 3rd manager so far to slot himself down a pairing but instead of going from bo7 to bo5 it's going from SV2 to SV3 which is just what r we doing here tier
SS Bo7:
Here Comes Team Charm! vs Close - my hl of the week. minor bias bold as i think close is prob better but charm is rly good too so not too much. charm is easily one of my fav teammates so i'm glad theyve looked competent this tour in a pretty respectable bo7 field. close meanwhile picked up his first win in 3 weeks after going for like 50 million in auction BUT panchams lost the week anyway so that has to be a little demotivating. should be a banger series regardless rly excited to hopefully catch this one live : )
SS: Clementine vs
feen - Clementine bitched about Charm's move orders after choking a won game vs me giving them a huge aura debuff and then also made a stupid alice vs france joke at the end of the series so i kinda hope he loses here BUT he's nice enough regardless that being said he did lose a series where he had three 3-0 previews in a row 3-1 so can not for the life of me bold me. i dont think the rhyperiors really have any plan for this slot but at least we're not seeing a 4th player in as many weeks.
SM:
Elo Bandit vs Freddy Kyogre - similar to waylaid freddy kyogre is taking the scenic route and playing his 3rd generation in as many weeks of being slotted in. the elo bandit fell back to the 1500's last week with Rellia ending his undefeated run but that's because
Rellia is the fucking greatest and he's still solid otherwise SO i'm gonna give him a bold here BUT i think freddy's probably a lot more respectable than most people rate him i always was p high on him back in the day
ORAS:
Synonimous vs LittEleven - there's a 5 way tiebreak in grandslam rn and it reminded me of that awful one like 4 years back for 1v1 classic where i played
LRXC for 90 minutes and i went back to watch that and i seemingly played synon while drunk out of my mind and was very rude to him the entire time
Synonimous IM SO SORRY please forgive me. that being said i think synons v good and he's been playing like it this tour too so i expect him to keep it up in general
BW: dreepy vs
QWILY - eepy :c airlines ended Taka's undefeated streak last week to continue their own with some of the worst teams loaded this tour so far BUT we move. i bolded against qwily last week and got exposed for it which like fair my bad so i'll predict a minor upset here. that being said still not really trusting the kaif support bw slot..
overall: think the rhyperiors my beloved franchise bounce back from a p close defeat last week whereas the panchams continue to struggle a bit. both bo7 series here feel particularly important in deciding momentum. murm and or kaif really need to pick up a win here to recoup some aura but neither manager pair seems to be struggling in horrors or heatrans esque fashion so i'm not completely giving up on panchams yet that being said same as i said last week and in the thwackeys thing too kaif is going to blow himself the fuck up supporting this lineup
Hyperspace Horrors
4-4 Drive-by Dragapults
SV Bo7: bo_bobson27 vs
delemon - my bold against giboney last week was extremely fraudwatch worthy so i'm risking my entire reputation here to do it again BUT i promise this will be the last time i bold against him he's very good actually i think he's just facing THE DELEMONSTER TOP 1 SV TOP 1 1v1 IN GENERAL who effortlessly won last week reusing the same 3 all series (lol?) i bet it's because she was busy building 50 new teams for the rest of her team as the dragapults managed to tie the week vs the thwackeys and show themselves to be a pretty serious playoff contender imo. either way giboney is probably gonna make me look stupid here with a win in 5. hl series
SV:
lost heros vs bern - bern allegedly went complete schizo mode if the now deleted pirate pad predicts were to be believed and accused someone of leaking which would already be 8/10 schizo to do normally BUT he's the fucking mannatger of this team so like. u bought these guys brother. what r we doing here surely u should trust them a bit more than that. somehow manages to get out-aura'd by lost heros because of that
SV: happysh vs
sufys - please beat TPP
sufys please. sufys is 2-0 so far and has looked POWERFUL so far. expecting them to keep it up as solid clicking + DELEMONSTER (holy goat) support is a can't lose combo
SS Bo7:
lolebruh vs zo - last week i wrote about not knowing lolebruh even played this shit and then he made me look like a fool by handsomely defeating glitched who i have been gassing up for weeks now (and i got rewarded by her coming down to ss5 this week to kick my ass fml) + his team is out of wcop now so he gets a buff. zo defeated waylaid aka the other player that i gassed to the moon and got punished for believing in and as i said i do think zo is very underrated in the 2024 climate. hl series pt 2
SS: Liimpy vs
Eeveekid10 - eeveekid won w2 and then got sent back to the bench in a bit of an eyebrow raising manager call but is back now. liimpy is now 1-2 only defeating i have best sand team i don't really know what's going on here i haven't faced either of these guys yet so i'm just bolding the one w the better record
SM: Felucia vs
Kry - 2 NEU homies; mez is 0-3 and her team is out and i keep bolding her and being wrong so i'm gonna go with kry here who i succesfully bias bolded into an upset last week holy am i the goat also it seems kry has shortened his name to join the elusive 3 letter tag club which is a high aura move
ORAS:
SEROO vs SwordIsBored - seroo's winstreak ended last week but their record is still better than swordisbored's who has been going thru it a little this tour seemingly. i don't like oras and apparently they unbanned fucking darkrai so i haven't been watching this tier much so i honestly have no idea what's been going on. bolding seroo by virtue of being 1 of 2 positive players on his team lol
BW:
AlyssaVGC vs ZackPalace - two 0-3 bw slots. excellent. owen says kittyvgc is competent at least and i have no idea who zackpalace is (at least similar to clementine the pults have ran out of subs to throw at this slot so he gets a second chance after losing last week)
overall: horrors are out not mathematically but like yea. bern and sword kinda find themselves in the similar mustwin position that heatran managers kaif and murm find themselves in or else they risk losing all of their aura but that doesn't matter because this is the delemon team regardless. that being said they really do need to win here vs the bottom seed team if they want to keep up their playoff push i think so like yea gonna need to see Something from the managers
rooting for my friends u know who u are. GO SKEWDAS!
