1v1 Summer Seasonal

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the US/UM 1v1 ladder on the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found here.
  • Best of five, double elimination.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • Replays are not required but I encourage posting them for the development of the metagame.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
The deadline is Saturday, July 7somewhere in the vicinity of 9 PM UTC. Extended games should be completed in the next few days.

AYEDAN over qt: if any of my picks go wrong, it's gonna be this one. i feel like ayedan will bring enough weird stuff to win.
KENTARI over Dazelel: kent should win this easily
PQS over neomon: who is neomon
JJOK3R over ggopw: master of cteams should pull this out against ladder goat

I don’t like doing predictions so here’s the matchups I want to watch
Magma vs. UBERLandon21: I don’t see Landon losing in fact I think Landon will win this tour (since he beat the best player in it round 1) but hey you never know and magma is supposed to be good. Overall ez match for Landon

Joker 1v1 vs. ggopw : People count out ggopw but he’s low key a threat and his cteam skills are on point. If Joker doesn’t bring new teams then he definitely has a chance to lose

ayedan vs. Quantum Tesseract : why is ayedan still in winners bracket

ryyjyywyy vs. honchkrow : I swear to god if ryy was halfway serious he would win every tour we have

Also mine but we don’t put commentary on our own matches
