Admin Thread | Spreadsheet | Replays and Usages

Week 2​

  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Players are eligible to call act if mid series after challenging their opponent does not accept within 7 minutes.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.

been really enjoying coming back to this great tier & great community after a few years of minimal activity, been a blast catching up with some of y'all and playing some games again :) wanted to do some predictions take note that i have never seen half of these people play

SV Bo7: RTM vs delemon - i've been told delemon is like, the current best player or close but the neomon series last week is the only time i've seen her play. that being said it's gonna take a worse loss than the neomonster to make me challenge the sky high praise i've heard so far

SS Bo7: Nick vs zo - i feel like i remember zo being pretty good at this tier right at the end of the gen

I'm literally not but ok.. that's still TSC + there's like 10 other people with a better sheet differential + I'm not on the hall of fame yet so like not even close lmao...

SV Bo7: RTM vs delemon - I think delemon is due for a bounce back week, but it can go either way. It's hard to see RTM losing two weeks in a row.
SV: Indi01 vs sufys - Indi's win last week was pretty cool but also it was against someone I've never heard of, but the guy won GC so bolding him.
SV: Akuu vs rumia - I do think that Akuu is pretty good at the game, will be interesting to see how he does after not being as around for a little bit.
SS Bo7: Nick vs zo - Nick either looks absolutely terrible or like pretty good at the game, but I think the crow crumbs series was pretty ok from him.
SS: Exotic64 vs Lialiabeast - I still do not know who exotic64 is really-
SM: Frito vs Krytocon - More experience in SM, but also Frito is pretty decent as a sub so idk.
ORAS: Mubs vs SwordIsBored - experience diff here
BW: PA vs bern - Why did bern slot in BW and not in SV, and why does this make me actually bold PA in a matchup?

SS: feen vs Aliss - The spring queen vs someone who is probably just clicking the tier but also you can probs reuse in SS and be fine so idk

ORAS: LittEleven vs Inkreativ - This is gonna be a really good matchup, but I think Litt might just be a little bit stronger rn
BW: QWILY vs Taka - Taka is good at BW this seems like a fun matchup tho

SV: Miyoko vs Marshme1to - Miyoko's a good clicker, and with Drip support I can see the upset happening
SS Bo7: Mishlef vs glitched - post this cat on the 1st of every month
SS: Jamez vs luser - I am a ec believer also I think glitched + luser is a unexpectedly strong SS core and it helped win me an OGPL chip so...
SM: Waylaid vs Iron Crusher - This is a really good matchup, but I think Waylaid slightly edges out IC here, but def my highlight of the week.
ORAS: LpZ vs torterraxx - LpZ losing in BW into getting subbed into this relatively strong ORAS pool was not what I expected to happen ngl...
BW: Feaniix vs Palestine - Palestine is pretty boldable in this BW pool during most weeks ngl... DEG's BW support remains strong as usual.

SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs lolebruh (better clicker with better support, charm has definitely gotten up on their footing so this will be a close one for lolebruh [idk if i said this already but i do think horrors should switch bo7s, but who am i to tell a team what to do])
SS: Fragments vs Liimpy (a fun one for sure, but i think liimpy has more clicking prowess compared to fragments)
SM: Elo Bandit vs Felucia (same as ss5 but replace clicking with building, felucia is bringing some fun stuff for sure)

okay last week all the shit teams + random thwackeys got smashed GGS. @thwackeys did you know once you're up 3-1 u are actually able to win another game? i think the pults from last year didn't figure that out either so np.
anyways the rps and jadburgs are back to their regular season farming, both i expect to make the playoffs before week 7 and then either hyperventilate to death or win da chip (probably not win for the jadburgs these guys r mid)

OVERALL: horrors players have more aura on an individual level (perhaps even moreso than last year) but unfortunately they are on the Hyperspace Horrors so this week will prob be disastrous to an unpredictable and wild extent. GL to felucia. the rps are like what the horrors are trying to be, introducing new players to tours but actually making the damn playoffs
