Anybody here following the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations? I'm waiting on Morocco-Tunisia on the 23rd, and I think this time Morocco has a very good team to win, I mean, they do have Marouane Chamakh from Arsenal as a forward.
 
yeah, wasn't a thrilling match - I think Liverpool maybe showed them a bit too much respect; City looked uncreative and unsure of themselves and I think 'Pool could have maybe snatched another one if they had the bottle to go for it.

But still, they need to go back to the Etihad and...wait, what...that was in Manchester? Then where were the City fans? I didn't hear a peep from the all night!

My friend saw Chamakh in a nightclub in Belfast after Morocco's match with Northern Ireland. Was awesum apparently. I hope they do well in the ACON. Chamakh is BEAST!

Also Gerrard is BEAST! Defo getting him for my fantasy team.

Yeah, Africa has some tough teams. Morocco better win against Tunisia, because we are still mad about 2004 final, with the 2-1 loss, and we want revenge, by stopping them from getting any futher.
 
kompany is suspended for the spurs match as well. maybe by then citys wheels would have come off.
city never fill the etihad, most of thier FA cup replays last season it was half empty.

I don't understand why Wenger wants Gotze when he has Ramsey and Wilshere, they're all basically the same: very young, got speed and loads of talent, but Wilshere is the best out of the lot of them imo cos he has that hard fighting spirit too. No idea why he'd want Gotze when a striker and full back are more pressing concerns.
 
Götze is pretty awesome, though.

I think he's much better than the two you mentioned. I don't know if he can do it in the EPL though.
 
Gotze better than Wilshere? I don't think Gotze is anywhere near Wilshere. Gotze hasn't been running Dortmund the way Wilshere commanded Arsenal last season, who were well in the hunt for 4 trophies. The way Wilshere played it was as if he was captain. Gotze is fast and has skills and vision in the final third but Wilshere has all that plus he roughs it up against guys twice his size and wins. Put it this way, if it was 1 on 1 Gotze vs Wilshere I don't think Gotze would get a touch of the ball...
 
Not really sure about that if anything Wilshere is more similar to Scholes. Wilshire is stronger, a better passer and more of a team player. Gotze is faster, a better dribbler and not bad at scoring or passing i'd compare him more to Nasri.

Also don't think Sneidjer would cost United much more either.
 
wilshire is not possible to sign unless arsenal go slightly insane and decide to sell to a rival.
that is the only reason united dont have fat frank, board wouldn't sell him to a title rival, that is why scholes came back.

Sneidjer wont, it is his wages though.

there is still always ronaldo. dont the fans hate him or something?

I think if Wenger ever got Gotze he would play him out wide(Dortmund do push him out to the right a lot). I have no idea will he work out there. I do think we could use a new wide player though, Walcott's too erratic for me and throwing Chamberlain out there just like that would be taking it too far.

I still believe Ramsey is Fabregas's successor and will soon come in to his own, and hopefully form quite the midfield tandem with Wilshere.

and the guy who's saying Chamakh is beast.....either troll or you've been out of touch since 2010.
 
AVB wants Barrios who is apparently "out of favour" at Dortmund.Also monitoring Gotze ofc.

And Arsenal are playing Swansea on Sunday, and if they win they will get into the top 4. I think they can pull it off. I can't believe Chelsea are beating them by one point. Chelsea have been better than Arsenal (in terms of league pos.) for many years now

Tevez to QPR loan deal to end of season rumours picking up pace. 11/10 with Skybet... If City pays half the wages I'd take him!

edit: Also Talksport reporting that Kaka will sign for Tottenham tomorrow on loan...
