HA! Rooney will probably retire soon so?

haha, beautiful. i was actually surprised to see he was 25 too...i thought he was like 23 and now i feel very old. no way have 8 years passed since that 90th minute winner against Arsenal, there must be some kind of mistake :(

Madrid's on a higher level than united.Their CL game vs Basel shows that. That would've never happened at the Santiago Bernebeu.
I don't think you can say that yet. One blip in a group game, we have four games to recover and Man Utd will at least qualify. Real Madrid already screwed up in League games against Racing Santander and Lavante.. Come on. Basel were impressive to be honest and we're yet to see them face Benfica yet. They could be a surprise and have a good chance at qualifying themselves now.

Real Madrid might surpass United again soon, but right now I don't think they're better. I'm not saying Man Utd is miles better, but I'm going to base it over some success in competitions first and foremost and in that sense United's recent history is a lot better.

Can't wait for this week's PL games. There's a Merseyside derby and a North London derby. What more could you ask for?

and xD, Titus Bramble's been arrested for sexual something and having class a drugs. damn titus getting caught in possession again

err how about damn titus getting arrested for sexual assault again? he was arrested for rape last year along with another man and his brother is currently serving a sentence for rape.
awful piece of shit.

He's a shit player with no loyalty, I don't understand why clubs put up with him - he isn't worth the trouble. Titus Shambles.

dont you remember the goal in this game

trying to find the actual footage. . .

edit: pretty sure the only player in both starting line-ups who still plays for their respective club now is shola. thats loyalty.

gerrard and lampard linked with anzhi

Daily Mail:

Roberto Carlos has confirmed that mega-rich Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala are interested in appointing Fabio Capello as their manager, as revealed by Sportsmail earlier this month.

Brazilian defender Carlos, 38, has been appointed a player-coach for Anzhi and immediately began talks with his bosses about transfer targets and who should take over as boss following the sacking of Gadzhi Gadzhiev.

Billionaire Russian owner Suleyman Kerimov wants Capello to take over after leading England at next summer's European Championship and Carlos said: 'I am having dinner with the president tonight and we'll speak about signings and coaches for next season.'

Anzhi are prepared to leave Carlos and fellow coach Andrey Gordeev in charge till the end of the Russian season if results improve but will then try to lure a top manager and players to match the calibre of Samuel Eto'o, who was signed from Inter Milan for £21million in August.

England midfielders Steven Gerrard, of Liverpool, and Chelsea's Frank Lampard are at the top of their wish list.

'We will talk about names like Lampard, Gerrard and (Robert) Pires,' said Carlos. 'In terms of coaches, there are several names, such as Capello, (Guus) Hiddink, (Vanderlei) Luxemburgo and (Luis Felipe) Scolari.'

Thoughts xD?

Tevez could end up there too since anzhi are possibly the only ones that could afford him.

going to russia. perfect cure for his homesickness. hope his family likes it there

I could see Lampard end up there not Gerrard though

You mad bro?
Seriously though buying Gerrard and Lampard when they're past their prime is really foolish.Besides both of them are keen to end their careers at their beloved English Clubs.

Lampard is definitely past his prime.

Gerrard we're not sure yet. He looked lively in his 12 min cameo.

people tend to forget that stevie g is 2 years younger than fat frank.

My point is that buying a 30 year old midfielder isnt a good idea unless you have some young Jack Wilshere who is injured and this guy is a meant to be temporary replacement.Secondly, there's absolutely no way Steven and Frank would leave;they're really happy and hungry to play for their PL clubs.

Good news is that Sturridge has been declared fit to play versus Bolton.

Shocker of a game from Martin Atkinson in the Merseyside derby so far xD

What a joke of a referee.

That guy's nuts, that challenge was a yellow if anything.Stupid KuytAdam or Suarez should've taken that.Nice try by Adam at th end.The reds will win of course.
