Also means we have a very good run-in, which i would take any day of the week.

Not gonna say "easy" because we all know what happened last season, but yeah
 
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I think Man Utd got the short end of the stick again in the fixture list. We always seem to get tricky away games when we've just played a Champions League match, and for 5/6 of our Group Games this time, these are our fixtures the game after:

Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Man City. All away (the other is QPR home).

If we actually progressed from the Group Stage this time, we'll be met with:

Round of 16 leg 1 - FA Cup tie (tbd)
Round of 16 leg 2 - QPR Away
Quarter Final leg 1 - Man City Home
Quarter Final leg 2 - Stoke City Away
Semi Final leg 1 - Arsenal Away
Semi Final leg 2 - Chelsea Home

I can't say I expect us to go that far in Europe, but if we did, our league form will almost certainly suffer.
 
Missed handball in the box by the fucking ref. Frustrating. Also as we speak they just called an offside that wasn't there. Ireland are parking the bus - I know how it feels to be a Barca fan ._.

I was really worried for an instant that the goal would be disallowed, but then the scoreboard changed and I was relieved. I'm still nervous though, since Italy wasn't able to keep the lead in the last two games. Their defense needs to step up a bit more, especially now that Ireland will be coming at them harder.
 
i am crushed. croatia deserved to score a fucking goal, that header that went straight to casillas was probably our best chance. very disappointed...
 
God fucking dammnit. Every single team I support gets defeated. GOGOGO Italy. That is my last veredict, if Italy loses I'm not watching any more games.

it's called ambush marketing and paddypower are superb at dodgy marketing schemes. he wasnt showing his boxers, he was showing the paddypower endorsement on his boxers despite the fact theyre not an official sponsor of the euros meaning theyre trading off someone else's shit entirely despite being unaffiliated with the event, and he was paid quite a lot to do it.
