Wow I can't believe how blind phalanx is.Cleverely is nothing compared to Wilshere. And btw Milner>Cleverley imo.

About Neymar.. he's a great player but he doesn't know how to play against the Europeans.
He WRECKS the Brazilians teams ALONE and all the Libertadore's teams too...

IMO he MUST go to Europe ASAP.

Like I said, I'm not denying that Wilshere is a brilliant player, and probably better than Cleverley, but to call him Championship quality is just ignorant.

definitely joe allen

however if tiote was sold, that would've been the biggest coup. its funny how many fans believed we could have had £25 mil from his sale january last year

he completely miss hits crosses that fly into the top corner and claims they are intentional

honestly, heres a better debate. cleverley or allen? who cares if they are different players

Allen easily.

Cleverley vs Henderson vs Ramsey would be more interesting.

I'm starting to think you're all ABUs now.

If you've watched United play this season (how couldn't you have, they're on TV like every fucking weekend), then you'll see how Cleverley injects pace and tempo into what is one of the most lethargic United midfields in years. He makes good passes, good runs, and works hard for the team.

I wasn't even aware we were debating Cleverley Vs Wilshere. Pretty much everyone here accepts that Wilshere is better. But shit, just because Wilshere is better, doesn't mean you have to bring down Cleverley for absolutely no reason.

I think you're all saying he's bad because you've still got Wilshere's performance engraved in your minds. And no doubt he was masterful against Brazil. But that has no bearing on how individually good Cleverley is. I mean, Wilshere looks bad compared to Messi, does that mean Wilshere is "championship quality?" No, it doesn't. Stop comparing players, and judge them on their individual merits.

On a different note, Michu is signing of the season for me too. Sissoko is great as well, give him another season and he'll be on another level I reckon.

PS: True neutral here btw, I don't support any club, so you can't accuse me of being biased. I just like football.

Ooh, sorry for the double post, but I wanted to bring this up.

Gareth Bale: after yet another match winning display for Spurs, I have a few questions about him for y'all.

1.) Do you see him leaving Spurs in the summer?
2.) If so, to which club?
3.) What value do you put him at?

Personally I'm pretty sure he'll wait to see how spurs fare in the Champions League (assuming they qualify; if not then I think he'll just leave asap). If spurs crash and burn like city, he'll push for a January move, if Spurs do well, I think he'll remain there for a while.

I'm really not sure about which club he'd move to though. Barca may want a replacement for Villa, who's leaving in the summer, but they have Tello, and I doubt they'll pay that much for Bale. Real don't need him, they have Ronaldo. City could push for him, but they're not famous for their use of widemen. I think Bayern may go for him; not sure how old Ribery is now, but he's getting on, and Robben is becoming increasingly injury prone.

Personally, I think Spurs could fetch around £40 million with no problems. Torres cost £50 million so...

Only Nos was saying Cleverley belongs in the championship, and he isn't saying that because Wilshere is better, he is saying Cleverley is just bad and offers nothing to a team which is his opinion. It appears you are the one who is being ignorant.

"His opinion" does not stop him from being ignorant. If it's my opinion that 2+2=5, am I immune to criticism? No.

Wilshere is brilliant, Cleverley is decent. There, argument over.

nope.

You have no idea how easy it is to look "decent" for Man Utd. Cleverley is at the level of Phil Bardsley and Danny Simpson (other man utd academy products who barely play for their clubs).
