2012/2013 Soccer/Football thread

lol @ teams with championship standard players like williamson and perch. strong cbs

remind me who your strikers are? I honesty only know Suarez so I'll have to go look up the others.

ok, Fabio Borini, Samed Yesil, Jerome Sinclair and Adam Morgan. so strongth. and maybe you can stick Jose Enrique up front, I hear you like playing him out of position?

Watched the Tottenham game and Kone looks class. I knew from MOTD that he had been doing well but he played amazing today. He's strong, got quick feet, has vision and awareness to pick passes and he's very fast. Best of all he looks really clever in possession, switching feet to catch defenders out and shielding the ball when he needs to. It was a pleasure to see after watching Giroud earlier in the day. He looks like he's got a lot of natural ability and football intelligence.

Also it's another chance to big up Al Habsi: great saves and amazing ability to make the ball stick to his hands.

it doesn't matter how many strikers we have. we have SUAREZ in our strike force (if you can call it that).

SUAREZ

it wasn't that bad, Chelsea dropping points, City dropping points (should have lost, west ham dissallowed goal was onside)
only problems was the lack of goals in the matches, if United and Everton scored most of thiers would have been loads.

Yeah I was serious, Liverpool have fallen so far and you're commenting about Arsenal and Newcastle lol. And that attitude about your strike force will just lead to Suarez leaving (see: RVP with Arsenal last year).

And btw I don't care if Suso and Sterling are youth players because as far as I'm concerned they are still regulars in the first team.

herp derp please stop spouting bs. I never said that liverpool haven't fallen behind. I was calling you out on your previous comment about joe allen, sterling and suso.

I'm not sure what Liverpool's current state has to do with my right to comment about arsenal or newcastle. strong logic. arsenal have been terrible, there's no doubt about it. whether liverpool have been too, that's another story that doesn't change anything about how arsenal have been doing.

Suarez signed a new five year contract in the summer. He's not going anywhere for a while.

since the infamous 1-6 man united have had zero sending offs, while their opponents have had 10 sending offs

a very well disciplined side and im sure the penalty stats are just as interesting

That's good news for us.Then again they might want to rebound with a CL victory. It's gonna be tough.

Not good enough in the final third. We need to get midfielders forwards to support Suarez. That's how toon got their goal.

Jones could have done better, I felt.

hahahahahahahahahaha

Shame we didn't take 3 points at the end because they were there for the taking even before the sending off. Same situation as arsenal in the QPR game at the Emirates except we didn't get forward in numbers, biggest problem this season I feel.

Too many missed chances, nothing new.

Also, disgusted with Coloccini resorting to violence after being murdered by Suarez.

Overall, as I said before the match, the gulf of class is evident between the two teams.

every time i watch a liverpool game shelvey seems to miss an absolute sitter. is this commonplace or have i just got really lucky in what games ive watched? i love a good miss

He's clinical in the Europa League and the cups but turns to shit in the premier league for some reason.
