Personally I would play a 4-3-3 if I was Rodgers and bench Sturridge. It sounds crazy benching the top scorer in PL but with 3 at the back he's gonna have a 1 vs 2 situation somewhere, and we know how much Wenger likes overloading flanks. Some games practically all of Arsenal's play will come down one side and that will be impossible for Enrique or Johnson to handle. Giroud likes to drop deep too (his average position is often further back than the attacking mid) so I think 3 CBs will be wasted with no one to mark.

This way he could have Johnson + Henderson marking one side and Sakho + Enrique marking the other and still have 3 in midfield to go toe to toe with Arsenal. You'd only have Suarez up front on his own but he's good enough to hold the ball up or create something out of nothing imo. And then you'd still have Sturridge as an impact sub for when the game gets stretched late on. So basically play for the draw and hope Suarez does some magic, and have the sucker punch ready if needed!

Don't ask me what Arsenal should do though cos I have no idea how to beat Liverpool lol! Just get Ramsey on the ball I guess :D

Why the fuck would he bench Sturridge.

Suarez + Sturridge is the only thing preventing Arsenal from winning.

It's either going to be a very nerve-racking draw, with Liverpool being unable to provide Suarez and Sturridge the service they need (both players can create and provide for themselves anyways), or a Liverpool counterattack goal from bullshit, or a dive +pen winner for Suarez.

Honestly, I'd prefer to focus on our own game rather than worrying about Arsenal going forward. I quite fancy SAS against Mertesacker and Koscielny. Mertesacker is slow and has the turning circle of a supertanker and Koscielny is a bit rash in the tackle. Sturridge simply has to play. 2 pool CFs vs 2 arsenal CBs sounds good especially because Flamini is injured.

On the other hand, I'd be very worried about Sagna and Gibbs overloading the flanks but kinda relieved that Walcott isn't playing so that no ''real'' winger is playing (seeing that Ozil and Cazorla like to come inside).

works Fantasy, change Lukaku from captain to Ramsey..... then change to Ozil....
while forgetting the guy in the red shirt next to Lukaku is Suarez not RvP.

i totaly forgot i brought in Suarez due to the gamerules allowing transfers duing gameweeks to get more points. (used RvP then swapped for Suarez as they played the day after i think)
I hate this game sometimes.

won 43 quid on my Accumulator though.

Is that the Sky game? I don't think FPL allows transfers during gameweeks.

Southampton have the second best defensive record in Europe (after Roma) wow lol! They have tough fixtures coming up though (and so do Arsenal), the table could look quite different at the end of November.

On the Ars-Liv game: I wonder what the odds are for a Koscielny red card next week lol!

Also Lewandowski could be had for cheap this January cos Dortmund don't want him to go to Bayern.

It's very small but Dortmund will do anything possible to get him out of the country and Lewandowski himself said Bayern is not done yet ^^) I know Chelsea, Real and maybe even Arsenal might be looking for a striker but it will take a sensational deal if anything is going to happen.

Lewandowski will go to Bayern.
Dortmund would have sold him this summer, if he would agree to sign an other club.

And Dortmund is not stupid, they won't sell Lewandowski in the winter with Schieber being the only other striker in the team.

I had a feeling that Torres was going to start this game because he had a good game against Schalke (not to say that I approved of it). His premier league form, unlike his european form, has been terrible but Mourinho's decision to start him has been going well so far (although there was a trademark one on one Torres miss).

wasnt a boring game as I had expected in the first half. refs all over mourinho's dick, and a lot of luck in the second half, without either it would have been a draw.

ugh itd be nice if tottenham could play a nonshitty game after they have a midweek game every time... at least with kaboul rose and capoue all expected to be coming back from injury soon i think avb should be able to start rotating more people out for the midweek games...

My favorite moment of the season was when United weren't visible in the top half of the table

I just like the fact that Arsenal are a decent amount of points ahead of other top clubs. Fuck the quality of opposition. Feels good. Enjoying the present.

To be fair, Arsenal haven't really had an extremely difficult Premier League game, and are certainly due one. The next few weeks will really decide if Arsenal can prove themselves as worthy title contenders, with games against United, Liverpool and Chelsea (I think they can).

This i'm enjoying being joint second on points with chelsea as well. doesn't mean i think we are title contenders but I just want to enjoy being there
