Not even a yellow card....
amazing refereeing throughout Europe tonight.

Just as laughable as your fucking team
Relax and look forward to the game against Galatasaray.
It makes no sense getting angry over this game especially when they were in the final 3rd were very poor.

Anyways the Bundesliga remains the most competitive league imo. Take bayern out of it of course.

Chelsea loss looks good from a Liverpool point of view. They have alot of big matches coming up but all of them are at home (man utd isn't a big match anymore lol)

Yeah... you're right, I guess. One thing is for sure, though. Ramires needs to be offloaded. Absolutely awful player.
He's terrible when played as a cdm but can be a threat on the right wing with his stamina and pace, and where his lack of skill/technique isn't easily exposed. He has the physical attributes to play in midfield but lacks the mental understanding and skill to do so.

Tbh don't even think he is a good winger, imo he is probably one of our worst technical players.

The best thing about today is that we can afford to lose and for once we are the ones playing for the prize while they play for pride. Let's hope that we both battle it out for the title next season the way it should be.

Lol, Rafael gets booked after a rough foul against Gerrard and on the subsequent play stops Suárez with a handball. The only reason I can see for him still being on the field is the ref pitied him, but damn.

Remember when Xhizors had a go at Chelsea for diving hahaha

Remember when I called our main man Suarez a serial diver a page back? No you don't because you only remember what you want to remember:

inb4 idiotic arguments about me supporting Liverpool with Suarez in the team. Suarez helps us win matches by diving, exaggerating contact and pretending to be injured and I still want this side of football to be abolished.

Xhizors sturridge just did what Robben did in the arsenal game. Are you going to call him a diver???

Oh man. You caught me. Good job.

But seriously, I'm still going to call a Chelsea player or any player for that matter a diver if he merits it. My team having divers doesn't take away my right to judge other players for going to ground too easily.

In fact, I'm very disappointed with Sturridge's dive. We were cruising at 0-2 and it was a memorable day for us, one that marked the shift in power. Sturridge's dive is just going to stain a great team performance. We completely outplayed Manchester United from start to finish and even though it might not be very impressive, Moyes was completely outwitted by Brendan.

I see you can't help it. Well done to the media for brainwashing people into this idiotic mentality that a winning mentality= cheating.

Anyways, Liverpool were average at best and still outplayed United.

Not sure where you got the idea that I think winning mentality = cheating. Maybe your comment was not aimed at me particularly.

Agree with the second part. The Liverpool players weren't at their best but the tactics by Rodgers were so good that it was enough.

Funny how Clattenburg awards a penalty for the Sturridge dive but doesn't award a stone wall one just a few minutes later against Sturridge again xD. Four penalties at Old toilet would have been hilarious.

Lol Moyes how I don't even...

Anyway, Tottenham match was pure dross. Arsenal played bad and had no chances but Tottenham were so inexplicably shit in front of goal that they couldn't score with about 5 or 6 clear opportunities one of which was practically an open goal. Rosicky's goal was a peach though and I'll take that!

can't believe gerrard missed that last penalty. In all fairness it wasn't a penalty but we had a stone wall penalty turned down 2 minutes after so I guess its even. Utd. Were poor in attack and unorganized in defense so the better team won. C'mon Liverpool for the league!

So is touching the ball with your hand, or grabbing another player's shirt to stop him from passing you, or doing a sliding foul... That's why players get booked. The problem is that refs don't realize someone's diving as often as they realize the other stuff (with some exceptions of course). Here in Argentina we have ballboys hiding the balls when their team is winning to timestall, and players dancing hand-in-hand inside the box in almost every corner kick/set piece.

It's all cheating and should be penalized accordingly, but if the refs can't see everything it's obviously harder for them to make the right choice. Hopefully that'll change once technology is introduced (not just to see if the ball crossed the line or not).

you can Accidently touch the ball with your hand, (Like Rafeal - therfore not a card ;)) grabbing a shirt can be seen as an automatic reaction in some cases.

and Sturridges dive also got a player sent off, which could inderectly lead to whatever happened after that.
players who cheat and get players sent off as a direct result need penalising more tbh.

To be honest I don't think the players are to blame on diving and cheating in general. Yeah they are the ones who do it, but the one at fault here is FIFA, because they do absolutely NOTHING to stop that 'cheating' from happening. Nothing. Ever.

And it's not like they can't do anything, I think that they just don't want to. A friend of mine once suggested that FIFA doesn't want to introduce technology because a large part of football's popularity is the polemic. I kind of agree with him tbh, because sometimes football matches are pretty boring and the only thing why people talk about them all the next week is because of a controversial call by the referee. And this is coming from someone who actually likes football, it's not like I think it's shit, it's pretty entertaining most of the time.
