That first game shows how good Calm Mind really is. That Tapu Lele came in, got two Calm Minds, nabbed two KOs, and dipped like nothing happened. And losing the Hippowdown was definitely rough, if not exactly game-ending.

Second game was just a nice look into how Urshitfu is stupidly good. Everytime that thing got a safe switch it wrecked havoc for a few turns until it was forced back by either Clef or Pheremosa. I wonder how the inevitable Pheremosa ban is gonna impact it, because I've personally used Pheremosa as a good counter for Urshifu up until now. It even got this close to just winning with John Elway-esque force of will.

Third game was just entertaining all around, I really liked watching it.

Sincere apologies for the delay, but we were able to get everyone to finish playing their games. There's no strict deadline, but getting the games done before Monday, December 28th would be appreciated. Additionally, as a result of the Pheromosa suspect test, Pheromosa will not be allowed in the quarterfinals. I understand this is a significant change to the tier, and if more time is desired by the participants, then I personally don't mind giving the players more time to finish their games.
