2021 CAP Summer Seasonal​

And our second seasonal circuit tournament begins! Here's our matchups for this week:

1st: 16 points
2nd: 13 points
3rd: 11 points
4th: 10 points
5th-6th: 9 points
7th-8th: 8 points
9th-12th: 7 points
13th-16th: 6 points
17th-24th: 5 points
25th-32nd: 4 points
33rd-48th: 3 points
49th-64th: 2 points
65th-96th: 1 points

Rules:
  • This is a standard SS CAP tournament.
  • The format is best of three, double elimination.
  • Changing teams in between matches is allowed.
  • You are required to post your replays.
  • All Smogon tournament rules apply.
  • Any change in tiering will not take effect until the following round.
  • Matches must be played on Pokemon Showdown or Smogtours.
  • Please use this guide while scheduling with your opponent.
Round 1 will end Sunday, June 13th at 11:59pm GMT-3.

decided to sit this one out to take a short break before cappl, which means i get to do high quality, unbiased prediccs.

Scizivire  vs  Voltage good matchup, im looking forward to seeing this one. that said, ill bold voltage since ive played him before but idt ive had the chance to play sciz so i dont really know that much about his playstyle
Gravity Monkey  vs  roxiee roxie has consistently had pretty deep runs in cap tours so i think bolding them is the right move
Darek851  vs  Lasen another good matchup. both are good players and very competent builders so it'll be interesting to see which mons they bring. apart from miasmaw ofc. darek won in rigged, which could give him the edge here as well. at the same time, lasen should be motivated to get revenge, so i could see him pulling out the win here too. that said, i gotta stick with my assman so im bolding him here

K3ppr  vs  Nalorium this is another good matchup, nalorium has obviously proven to be a serious opponent in 29 playtest tour, but K3 is very good as well so I could see this going both ways

Scizivire  vs  Voltage - fun one here, volt is a bit more proven so going w him
Gravity Monkey  vs  roxiee - i think roxie's definitely more experienced and has a pretty good track record in cap but i wouldnt be surprised if grav takes it, deceptively close series
Darek851  vs  Lasen - lasen is out for blood after rigged
SunMYSER  vs  Brambane - hard call but i think bram is the better player between the two
Heaven Jay  vs  giove97 - cap vet win
