[SET COMMENTS]

Offensive Mega Scizor sacrifices a portion of its defensive prowess in exchange for enough power and Speed to be able to lure certain Pokemon while still being a powerful cleaner and revenge killer. Close Combat is useful on Mega Scizor, as it is able to OHKO Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Archaludon after a Swords Dance boost while additionally being Mega Scizor's most powerful option against Pokemon such as Raging Bolt, Alomomola, and opposing Mega Scizor. On the other hand, Knock Off sacrifices the immediate power of Close Combat in exchange for permamently weakening pokemon such as Zapdos, Volcarona, and Toxapex by removing their Heavy-Duty Boots, and is also Mega Scizor's strongest move against foes such as Volcarona, Galarian Slowking, Zapdos, and Tapu Lele. Sand Tomb is an alternative option, allowing Mega Scizor to trap and KO Toxapex to the benefit of teammates such as Urshifu-R and Volcarona while retaining Mega Scizor's ability to deal with Heatran. The given EV spread allows Mega Scizor to avoid being 2HKOed by an unboosted Tapu Lele's Focus Blast after Stealth Rock while also outspeeding defensive Landorus-T. The ability that Close Combat Mega Scizor has to lure Heatran is greatly appreciated by Pokemon such as Volcarona and Serperior, whereas Knock Off variants can permanently hinder Pokemon such as Volcarona and Zapdos to the benefit of teammates such as Iron Valiant and Kartana. Mega Scizor struggles to deal with Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, Gouging Fire, and Zapdos, all of which can outspeed and threaten it with an OHKO or safely pivot around it, while Iron Defense Zamazenta is able to set up alongside Mega Scizor and beat it. Tapu Lele can also block Bullet Punch with its Psychic Terrain, negating a potential sweep. Teammates such as Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko are able to offensively check the Flying- and Water-type Pokemon that Mega Scizor struggles with, such as Zapdos and Toxapex. Raging Bolt able to check Mega Charizard Y and Ogerpon-W, whereas Tapu Koko overrides Tapu Lele's Psychic Terrain with its own Electric Terrain. Rockium Z variants of Zamazenta can enable Mega Scizor to sweep by luring and removing Zapdos. Toxapex and Ferrothorn are able to defensively answer aformentioned Zamazenta, Volcarona, and Raging Bolt, which are able to set up in front of Mega Scizor, and Ferrothorn specifically is able to set up entry hazards that heavily benefit Mega Scizor. Defog users such as Gliscor and Tornadus-T, are invaluable partners to Mega Scizor, due to its susceptibility to entry hazards and its inability to hold Heavy-Duty Boots to mitigate this issue.

Offensive Mega Scizor sacrifices a portion of its defensive prowess in exchange for enough power and speed to be able to lure certain pokemon, while still being a powerful cleaner and revenge killer. Close Combat is useful on Mega Scizor as it is able to OHKO ohko the aforementioned it should be assumed that the reader is only reading this set, so ythey shouldn't have to read the other to know that heatran was mentioned Heatran, Ferrothorn and Archaludon after a Swords Dance boost, whilst additionally being Mega Scizor's most powerful option against pokemon such as Raging Bolt, Corviknight, and opposing Mega Scizor. added period whereas Knock Off sacrifices much of the immediate power of Close Combat in exchange for permamently crippling pokemon such as Zapdos, Tornadus-T, and Alomomola with the removal of their Heavy-Duty Boots, and is also Mega Scizor's strongest move against foes such as Volcarona, Galarian Slowking, Zapdos, and Tapu Lele. The given EV spread allows Mega Scizor to avoid being 2hko'd by an unboosted Tapu Lele Focus Blast after Stealth Rocks, while also outspeeding defensive Landorus-T. The ability that Close Combat Mega Scizor has to lure Heatran is greatly appreciaed by Pokemon such as Volcarona and Serperior, whilst Ogerpon-W and Raging Bolt benefit from this variant's ability to lure Ferrothorn, whereas Knock Off variants can remove Galarian Slowking for the benefit of Pokemon such as Iron Valiant and Iron Moth. ngl i'd rather highlight knock wearing down stuff like volc/zap more bc gking should never be coming in on sciz imo Mega Scizor struggles to deal with Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, Gouging Fire and Zapdos, all of which can outspeed and threaten with an ohko or safely pivot around Mega Scizor; it also struggles against Swords Dance Urshifu-R, Ogerpon-W, and Iron Defense Zamazenta, as they can set up alongside Mega Scizor and are unthreatened by Bullet Punch. Tapu Lele can also block Bullet Punch with its Psychic Terrain, negating a potential sweep. wheras setup sweepers such as Swords Dance variants of Urshifu-R and Ogerpon-W, and Iron Defense Zamazenta are able to set up alongside Mega Scizor while being unthreatened by its boosted Bullet Punch, and Tapu Lele's Psychic Surge completely negates Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch, allowing for a wide array of counterplay. Teammates such as Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko are able to offensively check the Flying and Water-Type Pokemon that Mega Scizor struggles with, the former being able to check Mega Charizard Y, whereas the latter overrides Tapu Lele's Psychic Terrain with its own Electric Terrain. added period whereas Toxapex and Ferrothorn are able to defensively answer the Water and Fighing Types that are able to set up infront of Mega Scizor. such as? also id probs include rock z zama as zap/volc lure for sciz

Close Combat is useful on Mega Scizor as it is able to OHKO Heatran, Ferrothorn and Archaludon after a Swords Dance boost, whilst additionally being Mega Scizor's most powerful option against pokemon such as Raging Bolt, Corviknight Alomomola more relevanr, and opposing Mega Scizor. The ability that Close Combat Mega Scizor has to lure Heatran is greatly appreciated by Pokemon such as Volcarona and Serperior, whilst Ogerpon-W and Raging Bolt benefit from this variant's ability to lure Ferrothorn does it even lure ferro, like if ferro is ur zor pivot ur losing to zor lol all it can do is leech and give it +6 then take 20 million from uturn or die to knock if it isnt this set, remove this or find a better example, whereas Knock Off variants can permanently cripple Pokemon such as Volcarona and Zapdos to the benefit of teammates such as Urshifu-R Iron Valiant maybe? idk neither of those really like to deal with shifu lol, and volc certainly doesnt deal with zama and Zamazenta. Mega Scizor struggles to deal with Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, Gouging Fire and Zapdos, all of which can outspeed and threaten with an ohko or safely pivot around Mega Scizor; it also struggles against Swords Dance variants of Urshifu-R, Ogerpon-W and Iron Defense Zamazenta, as they can set up safely alongside Mega Scizor and are unthreatened by Bullet Punch idk about safely, shifu and waterpon dont like taking a cc and if the set isnt revealed then a potential uturn for the latter. Tapu Lele can also block Bullet Punch with its Psychic Terrain, negating a potential sweep. Teammates such as Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko are able to offensively check the Flying and Water-Type Pokemon that Mega Scizor struggles with, aiding against Zapdos and Toxapex, (AC)the former additionally being able to check Mega Charizard Y and Ogerpon-W, whereas the latter overrides Tapu Lele's Psychic Terrain with its own Electric Terrain. Rockium Z variants of Zamazenta are able to enable Mega Scizor to sweep by luring and removing Volcarona and Zapdos im ngl im unconvinced about rock z zama but even then the most popular zama set is boots which clicks stone edge and volc dies. Whereas Toxapex and Ferrothorn are able to defensively answer the aformentioned Zamazenta, Urshifu-R and Ogerpon-W that are able to set up infront of Mega Scizor. i think entry hazard support is pretty crucial for this mon, especially if running knock, so a lime about that is good (and removal too because this guy HATES spikes)
