Hello 2v2 and welcome to 2v2PL! Sign up in this thread if you wish to manage a team. 2v2PL is a 6-team tournament, lasting for roughly 7 weeks. Only sign up if you have sufficient activity for the entirety of the tournament.

This year's format will be as follows:
  • SV 2v2 Doubles
  • SV 2v2 Doubles
  • SS 2v2 Doubles
  • SM 2v2 Doubles
  • ORAS 2v2 Doubles
  • BW 2v2 Doubles
Managers will be picked by the hosts and the UM forum staff.

Why you would be a good manager:

Auction budget is 90k. The minimum amount of players required is 8 (6 starters + 2 substitutes). There are no retains. Managers will be allowed to self-buy for 20k each.

Manager signups will close at Sunday, January 19th, at 12:00 PM EST.

Why you would be a good manager: I dont wanna write so um 4-0 last 2v2 team tour. I know the playerbase like the back of my hand ig?, i wanted to say nobody else but thats a lie. I also play 2v2 sometimes as said by my title

True Psycho just wanted to manage something so... he also plays 2v2, and um say ur own things in ur confirming post lol im not gonna write for u

Edit: team name was selected by ps's pick cmd and i dont really like it but no good ideas are coming from me

Why you would be a good manager: won PPL on Pokémon perfect years ago as a manager, longtime 1v1 player and also play 2v2/doubles/vgc.

Why you would be a good manager: Lets not beat around the bush, its basically Despacito and I who are carrying this meta and its innovation on our backs since the start of it, in OMPL at the start of the gen we showed that our teams are far above the competition and during the most recent 2 UMPLs we had very well preforming 2v2 players using our teams. Our overall record in gen 9 tournaments speaks for itself. This is not even mentioning our gen 8 performances, just check the stats bro + im part of the gen 8 council and made all the gen 8 sample teams. Enough about our short summary of why we have got to be the 2v2 goats, onwards to our managing expertise. Both Despacito and I have managed for the 2 most recent UMPLs, during both we made POs, we managed for 2v2 before, giving more unknown people a shot which is a clear indication of our generosity towards all our lil bros, I also managed for doubles derby twice and Despacito once. In short we not only showed that we are just the best players out there but also have a great expertise when it comes to leading our army to victory, case closed.
