Format
This is a free-for-all game. There are no teams.

Aliases
Each player has an Alias, determined prior to the start of the game. All actions, including attacks, target aliases unless the specific phrase "target Smogon user" is used in the action's description. Players may submit their own alias; if they choose not to do so, their alias will be created by the host.

Cycles
This game will take place in turns called Cycles. Each Cycle will consist of each player having the opportunity to use an ability and attack another player. Cycles will generally be 48 hours long, though note that I will always state when the next cycle is scheduled to end.

The Lynch
Does not exist. More on that below.

Roles
Each player will receive a PM on the anonymous forum containing their role. A role will look something like this:
"Dear <Alias>,
You are <Role Name>.

<Flavor text. This will usually be 2-3 sentences.>

<Ability, and how to use it. Note that some abilities are passive, and that some roles have more than one ability.>

Max HP: <#>
Attack: <#>

You win if <win condition>."

You may not quote any part of your role verbatim except for your Role Name, HP, and Attack.

Abilities
Each role has at least one ability. Some of these are passive, whereas some require the targeting of another alias. In general, targeted abilities are used by sending a PM with some variation of the following formatting: "Cycle <#>: Target <Alias>". You may choose to not use a targeted ability by sending a PM with "Cycle <#>: Idle". Passive abilities are always on, no PM required, and cannot be disabled.

HP and Attack
In addition to abilities, each player will be able to attack one other alias each cycle. Doing so simply requires sending a PM with "Cycle <#>: Attack <Alias>". You may choose to idle your attack. Attacking an alias reduces their HP by an amount equal to your Attack stat. When you run out of HP, you are dead. You can no longer talk to other players about the game, post in the lynch, or use abilities or attacks. In addition, dying means you have lost - dead players cannot win. I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of any sort of resurrection mechanic in this game. There may be roles that cause players to regain health. Players cannot be healed above their maximum HP.

Results
At the beginning of each new cycle, you will receive a PM detailing any results you may have received from the previous cycle. Results may include, but are not limited to, the failing of your action or the blocking of your attack. If all of your targeted moves succeeded and nothing noteworthy happened to you, you will not receive a result. I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of roles that may cause dishonesty in player's results.

Winning
Each player has a subset of other players in the game that they must outlive, as detailed in their win condition. Upon satisfying this win condition, a player will immediately exit the game. Players who have exited the game via winning do not count as dead. Should a player find themselves mechanically unable to win the game for any reason, they will immediately lose. Players who have exited the game via losing do count as dead.

Standard Investigation
In addition to everything in their role, every player also has access to an ability called a Standard Investigation. More details on this will be revealed at game start.

Communicating With Others
While you are alive, the only methods of communication which are disallowed are those covered in the Circus Maximus rules - namely, screenshotting or screen sharing. All other methods of communication are allowed. While you are dead, you may not talk about the game to anyone. You may not copy/paste any host communications, including but not limited to Role PMs, Results PMs, and general conversations. You may paraphrase and refer to host communications. You may copy/paste communications with other players, and you may fake logs.

Priority
The term "priority" refers to the order in which actions occur. This has been predetermined beforehand, and will not change. Generally, actions will resolve in the following order:
Passive > Real Time > High Priority > Disruptive (Blocking > Redirecting > Delaying) > Protective > Damaging > Basic Attack > Other > Investigative
In the event that multiple Redirective roles conflict, the redirect used by the player with more HP will take precedence. In the event that the players have the same HP, the redirect used by the player with more Attack takes precedence. In the event that the players have the same Attack, the action that was sent first takes precedence.

Other
All global Smogon and Circus Maximus rules apply. The hosts reserve the right to punish anything they consider to be cheating or unfair play, regardless of whether it's covered in these rules. The hosts also reserve the right to force-sub any player they feel is not meeting an acceptable level of activity - note, however, that no forcible substitutions will occur due to poor play. Above all else, have fun and don't be a dick. It's a game, guys.

Quick note about Mana and Standard Investigations:

Each player is sorted into one of 5 groups of equal size, corresponding to the 5 colors of mana in Magic: The Gathering: WHITE, BLUE, BLACK, RED, and GREEN. Each player is mortal enemies with their Enemy Colors (you can google what these are); for example, WHITE players MUST outlive BLACK and RED players to win. The second component of each player's wincon involves either outliving the rest of their own group or outliving one specific member of each of their Ally Colors (again, you can google what these are).

In addition to the abilities listed in their role PMs, each player also has access to a Standard Investigation each night. Using this on an alias will return which color mana that alias is attuned with.

Couple of things I forgot to mention:

You cannot target yourself with an ability unless the ability explicitly states that you can.

You may idle abilities.

You may idle your attack, but attempting to do so multiple times in a row will cause you to attack yourself instead.

If you are idling, you must send me a PM stating your intent to do so. I will consider you inactive otherwise.

Failing to send any sort of action PM will result in a warning the first time, and a modkill the second time.

20 men enter. 19 men leave - for now, at least. The remaining man lies dead on the floor.

Dear Ullar,
You are playing under the alias Target Alias.
You are Durkon Thundershield, from The Order of the Stick.

A dwarven paladin of Thor, you were exiled from the dwarven homelands long ago for nebulous reasons. You now travel with Roy Greenhilt’s party, attempting to save the world while also simultaneously hoping for a ticket home.

Cure Light Wounds (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Clerics gonna cleric. Your target regains 5 HP. You may target yourself. You may not target the same player consecutively.

Turn Undead (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Clerics STILL gonna cleric. Your target loses 3 HP. This ability will fail if your target is not attuned to BLACK or RED.

Thor’s Might (Active, One-Shot, Nontargeted): Every so often, you’ll need to get your hands dirty yourself; luckily, you have the power of a god on your side (the power of anime won’t return your calls). You gain 10 HP (this can exceed your Max HP cap), and until the end of the night after you use this ability, your attack power is boosted by 3, and your attacks cannot be blocked or redirected in any way. You cannot use Cure Light Wounds while under the effects of Thor’s Might. You cannot use this ability until you have taken at least 5 damage.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 2

Despite Thor being rather chaotic, you yourself are a lawful good cleric, and thus are attuned with WHITE mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to BLACK and RED mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with WHITE mana
-outlast Jace Beleren and Nissa Revane
Results going out now. Cycle 2 ends 9/3 at 7 PM CDT.

Let the bodies hit the floor etc. etc.

Hanson, aka tonithetourguide:
Dear tonithetourguide,
You are playing under the alias Hanson.
You are Hermione Granger, from Harry Potter.

The smart one of the main trio, you are one of Harry’s closest friends at Hogwarts and arguably a much better magic user than he is. Your brilliance is unrivaled, but your bravery in the face of danger managed to land you in Gryffindor over Ravenclaw even despite that huge ol’ brain o’ yours.

Wingardium Leviosa (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Flying is neat! Target player’s actions will be processed at high prio the following cycle. You may not target the same player consecutively.

Expelliarmus (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Yes, it’s Harry’s signature spell, but there’s not a spell on Earth you can’t cast. Target player’s attack is roleblocked. You may not target the same player consecutively.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 4

As one of the most brilliant students and witches ever to walk the halls of Hogwarts, you are attuned with BLUE mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to RED and GREEN mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with BLUE mana
-outlast The Narrator and Liliana Vess
Journalism B.A., aka Da Letter El:
Dear Da Letter El,
You are playing under the alias Journalism B.A..
You are Ganondorf Dragmire, from The Legend of Zelda.

The first male Gerudo born in 100 years, you are a powerful military commander, seeking to utilize the Triforce of Power to seize control over all of Hyrule (and thus the other two aspects of the Triforce as well).

Your abilities are as follows:

Dark Legions (Active, Unlimited, Nontargeted): You’ve got minions 4 dayz. An alias of your own naming will join the alias list at the end of the cycle. This alias has 5 HP. Anyone attacking one of these aliases will take damage equal to your attack damage. Anyone investigating these aliases with a standard investigation will find that they are attuned with BLACK. Anyone investigating the full role PM of these aliases will receive the full text of this ability.

Dark Influence (Passive): Your cabal of minions only makes you stronger. Your attack damage increases by 1 for each living Dark Legions alias you control.

Ganon Cannon (Real-Time, Limited, Targeted): Yeah, don’t ask. Activate this ability by sacrificing 3 living Dark Legions aliases. Target player will take damage equal to half their maximum HP, rounded down. If the target dies, spawn a Dark Legions alias. You may not use this ability more than once per cycle.

Moblin Wave (Active, Limited, Nontargeted): Activate this ability only if you possess 5 or less HP. Target player’s attack is redirected to a living Dark Legions alias of your choice. Said Dark Legions alias will die regardless of how much HP it previously had. You may not use Dark Legions and Moblin Wave in the same cycle.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 3

As a dark entity obsessed with power and control over the entire land of Hyrule, you are attuned with BLACK mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to WHITE and GREEN mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with BLACK mana
-outlast Princess Zelda and Atsuko Kagari
The alias Vase #1 has died alongside Da Letter El.

green, aka ajhockeystar:
Dear ajhockeystar,
You are playing under the alias green.
You are The Joker, from the Batman franchise.

Batman’s self-styled arch-nemesis, you are a mysterious clown-looking fellow who enjoys little more than fucking everything up for everyone. Chaos is the name of the game, and nobody’s better at spreading it than you.

Your abilities are as follows:

Definitely A Normal Gun (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Yeah, no, it’s a dud. Target player will be gifted a sabotaged gun. They will be told they can use it once to deal 3 damage to target player. In reality, using the gun will cause it to backfire, dealing 3 damage to the holder. This damage cannot be prevented.

Jack-In-The-Bomb (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): POP go your enemies! Plant bombs around target player; the next 3 people to target said player, other than yourself, will take 3 damage. Your target will also take 1 damage from each of these explosions.

Killing Joke (Passive): Is not a comic I’ve actually read, I just wanted to steal the name for an ability. The first time you participate in a kill on a player, you will gain a one-shot copy of all Active Unlimited abilities that player possessed.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 3

You’ve made the creation of chaos and destruction your entire modus operandi. As such, you are attuned with RED mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to WHITE and BLUE mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with RED mana
-outlast Claire Stanfield and Nissa Revane
The alias Mewtoo has joined the game.

Results going out. Cycle 3 ends 9/5 at 8 PM CDT.

Wow, y'all are awful at this. Only 1 death this cycle.

Dear Jay (FT) Flush,
You are playing under the alias Excelsior.
You are Pidge Gunderson, from Voltron: Legendary Defender.

Real name Katie Holt, you are the paladin in charge of piloting Voltron’s Green Lion, which specializes in stealth-based operations. You also are the team’s resident techno-geek, being the primary line of defense against any and all IT-related issues.

Stealth Cloaking (Passive): Invisibility is pretty cool. Your attack cannot be redirected, is invisible to trackers/watchers, and ignores any effect which invokes targeting as a stipulation (for example, an ability which reflexively deals 1 damage to anyone targeting the user would have no effect on you).

Universal Locator (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Nerd shit! You will receive your target’s full role PM, as well as their current HP value. Additionally, you will be immune to any attacks or harmful role effects used on you by the target that night.

Statistical Analysis (Passive): More nerd shit! Your attack does 3 extra damage to people you’ve previously targeted with Statistical Analysis.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 3

As a giant nerrrrrd obsessed with space travel and astronomy and shit, you are attuned with BLUE mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to RED and GREEN mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with BLUE mana
-outlast Eddard Stark and Izaya Orihara
Results going out. C4 ends 9/7 at 7 PM CDT. Yes, I know the time keeps waffling back and forth. No, I can't get it to stop.

The alias Paris has joined the game.

Nevermind I'm the one that's awful.

Torchwood, aka Blazade, also dies.

Dear Blazade,
You are playing under the alias Torchwood.
You are Izaya Orihara, from Durarara!!.

A young man of questionable mental stability, you’ve made a name for yourself as an “information broker, providing information to the more unsavory individuals lurking around Ikebukuro… for a price. Though you claim to do it out of a “love for humanity”, you’re also a pathological liar, so it’s unclear what your true motivation is.

Your abilities are as follows:

Information Broker (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Acquiring information for unsavory individuals is kind of your Thing. Target two players; both the first player and yourself will receive the full role PM of the second player. The first player will not be told the source of this role PM. You may use this ability twice per cycle.

Chatroom Troll (Real-Time, Unlimited, Targeted): You may send up to 3 anonymous messages per cycle to any Smogon user of your choosing. You may specify a time for these messages to arrive, within reason (I have to sleep sometime!); if no time is given, they will arrive instantly. The recipient will see the message as “You have received an anonymous message: <text>”. These messages may be no longer than 500 characters.

A Knife To A Fistfight (Passive): You’re pretty good with a switchblade. You are immune to attacks and harmful role effects aimed at you by the target of your attack.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 3

As an egomaniacal, self-serving social climber, you are attuned with BLACK mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to WHITE and GREEN mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with BLACK mana
-outlast .Pidge Gunderson and Chandra Naalar

3 more bite the dust.

Elle, aka Cancerous:
Dear Cancerous,
You are playing under the alias Elle.
You are The Narrator, from The Stanley Parable.

This is the story of a man named Stanley. Well, no, it’s not, but you’ve said that line so many times yourself that it felt only fitting to lead with that. You’re the mysterious voice in the sky leading hapless Stanley on his journey through his mysteriously empty office, and you don’t really appreciate that Stanley seems obsessed with junk like “free will” and all that jazz.

Mysterious Ghost Voice (Passive): You, uh, don’t really have corporeal form. As such, your actions cannot be roleblocked or redirected.

Narrate the Path (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Time for you to do your one and only job! Target two players, and choose either abilities or attack; you will redirect the selected type of action used by the first player to the second. You may not redirect the same player consecutively. Abilities that target more than one player will not be redirected by this.

The Adventure Line! (Active, One-Shot, Targeted):[/b] Every once in a while the path gets… a little more complicated. Target two players; the first player will be fully roleblocked that night, and have all of their actions redirected to the second player the following night. Any shots redirected in this way cannot be blocked by protective actions. Additionally, any player targeting your first target the night they are roleblocked will also be redirected the following night.

Max HP: 13
Attack: 2

Your entire schtick is telling Stanley what to do and making sure his titular Parable runs smoothly. As such, you are attuned with WHITE mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to BLACK and RED mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with WHITE mana
-outlast Hermione Granger and Celebi
YOLOSWAG, aka Drookez:
Dear Drookez,
You are playing under the alias YOLOSWAG.
You are Jace Beleren, from Magic: the Gathering.

A former prodigy from Vryn, you studied mental magic under the tutelage of a legendary sphinx… who you later found out had been systematically erasing your memories each time your power managed to surpass his. Not cool. You eventually defeated him in a mental battle, but the stress of doing so A. ignited your Spark and hotdropped you into the plane of Ravnica and B. left you with few memories aside from your name and your abilities. That’s rough, buddy.

Your abilities are as follows:

Mind Read(Active, Unlimited, Targeted): You’re actually really bad at NOT doing this. Learn target player’s current HP, as well as the alias of all players they’ve previously targeted with attacks.

Mind Sculpt (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): You may only use this ability on targets you’ve previously affected with Mind Read. Target player’s attack is redirected to the target of your own attack.

Mind Crush (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): You may only use this ability on targets you’ve previously affected with Mind Sculpt. Target takes damage equal to half their maximum HP, rounded down.

Max HP: 13
Attack: 4

As one of the most brilliant minds in the entire multiverse, you are attuned with BLUE mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to RED and GREEN mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with BLUE mana
-outlast Durkon Thundershield and Claire Stanfield
Johnson, aka Fenrir Aesir:
Dear Fenrir Aesir,
You are playing under the alias Johnson.
You are Katsuki Bakugou, from My Hero Academia.

A powerful student of UA’s class 1A, your quirk is to create powerful explosions from your palms. Your personality is similarly explosive - the primary factor holding you back from being an effective hero, in fact, is your short fuse and your tendency to be motivated by anger and spite.

Your abilities are as follows:

Aggressive Smokescreen (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): You don’t really do anything in a non-aggressive manner. Target player is fully roleblocked and takes damage equal to your attack damage. You cannot target the same player consecutively.

Defensive Smokescreen (Active, One-Shot, Nontargeted): Yes, you do occasionally play defense. You are immune to any and all actions aimed at you the cycle you use this. You cannot use any other actions, including your attack, the cycle you use this. Additionally, you take damage equal to your attack damage.

Explosive Burst (Active, Unlimited, Nontargeted): Gotta go fast! Your actions this cycle will be processed at high priority. You take damage equal to your attack damage.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 4

Your quirk is effectively chaos incarnate and you REALLY don’t know how to chill. As such, you are attuned with RED mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to WHITE and BLUE mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with RED mana
-outlast Liliana Vess and Celebi
Results going out. Cycle 5 ends 9/10 at 7 PM CDT.

The alias Forever has joined the game.

Deadline was a while ago. Have an update.

dragon, aka acidphoenix:

Dear acidphoenix,
You are playing under the alias dragon.
You are Liliana Vess, from Magic: the Gathering.

Old-ass planeswalker and occasional member of the Gatewatch, you long ago bargained with four archdemons for eternal youth and power. Problem is, you don’t like being in debt to people, so now you’re on a quest to systematically kick their asses. You also might have a slight zombie fetish. It happens.

Your abilities are as follows:

Deal With The Devil(s) (Passive) - Half the total damage you would take on the first cycle of the game (rounded down) is delayed to the following cycle.

Life from Death (Passive) - Any time you participate in a kill on another player, you will gain 3 HP. You cannot exceed your maximum HP in this manner. This healing is processed immediately after shots.

Undead Servants (Active, Unlimited, Targeted) - Once per player, you may use any one Active Unlimited ability of target dead player.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 3

As an ancient vain Planeswalker necromancer she-devil, you are attuned with BLACK mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to WHITE and GREEN mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with BLACK mana
-outlast Hermione Granger and Katsuki Bakugou
Shizuo, aka Duskfall98:
Dear Duskfall98,
You are playing under the alias Shizuo.
You are Nissa Revane, from Magic: the Gathering.

An elf from the wild mana plane of Zendikar, your planeswalker spark awakened around the same time the Eldrazi crisis began, which opened up an entire supermarket’s worth of worm cans. After allying with the Gatewatch to defend your home plane, you began to travel with them away from your home to see what the lands of the other planes of the multiverse had to offer.

Your abilities are as follows:

Might of Zendikar (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): The forces of nature will be coming to assist you in quite the literal manner. Create an alias of your choosing to be added to the alias list at the end of the cycle. This alias has 5 HP and 2 attack. You control these aliases’ attack targets each cycle. Standard investigations will reveal these aliases as being attuned with GREEN. Role PM investigations will return the full text of this ability.

Nature’s Vitality (Passive): At the end of each cycle, you regain 2 HP for each living alias created by Might of Zendikar.

I’ll Do It Myself (Passive]: If you choose to attack and kill a Might of Zendikar alias, you will permanently gain 3 attack power.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 2

As a wood elf of Zendikar, the most nature-driven plane in the multiverse, you are attuned with GREEN mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to BLUE and BLACK mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with GREEN mana
-outlast Durkon Thundershield and The Joker
The aliases Neptune, Mewtoo, Paris, and Forever die as well.

Results going out. Cycle 6 ends 9/12 at 7 PM CDT.

See above.

Ipanema, aka Former Hope:

Dear Former Hope,
You are playing under the alias Ipanema.
You are Claire Stanfield, from Baccano.

An unassuming red-headed young man… or so one would assume based on the demeanor you present to the general populace. In reality, you are the legendary assassin Vino, a solipsist, sociopath, and serial killer who is very, very good at what he does, to the point that some believe you inhuman.

Your abilities are as follows:

Solipsism (Passive): It’s not like anyone else actually exists. You cannot regain HP or be affected by any beneficial role effects.

Worthy Opponent (Passive): The thrill of a good fight only makes you stronger. Your attack does 3 extra damage to anyone currently targeting you with an attack or who has previously successfully targeted you with an attack.

Blood Knight (Passive): For each 3 HP below your maximum value that your current value is at, your attack power increases by 1. This buff applies as soon as you take the damage, meaning if you reach a new threshold on any given cycle, your attack THAT CYCLE does increased damage.

Beyond Human Limits (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Push yourself as far as you can go. Target player loses 3 HP. You lose 1 HP. Activate this ability only if you have 5 or less maximum HP.

Max HP: 20
Attack: 3

As a solipsistic, entirely self-focused killing machine, you are attuned with BLACK mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to WHITE and GREEN mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with BLACK mana
-outlast Jace Beleren and the Joker
Results going out. Cycle 7 ends 9/13 at 7 PM CDT. Yes, this is a 24 hour cycle rather than 48. I will extend upon request, but I'd like to move to 24 hour cycles for the rest of the game.

meh, you're dead anyways

Reginald, aka CaffeineBoost:

Dear CaffeineBoost,
You are playing under the alias Reginald.
You are Gideon Jura, from Magic: the Gathering.

Born Kytheon Iora on the plane of Akros, you rose to prominence as the leader of a paramilitary band dedicated to the defense of the city you loved. After the activation of your planeswalker spark, you became the leader of the Gatewatch, a planeswalker organization dedicated to the defeat of Nicol Bolas and any other existential threats that the multiverse may face.

Warrior’s Constitution (Passive): It takes a lot to keep you down. At the end of each cycle, you will heal for an amount equal to half the damage you took that cycle.

Self-Sacrifice (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Putting others ahead of yourself is kind of your thing. All attacks aimed at your target will be redirected to you. If any damage is redirected in this manner, the total damage you take that cycle will be reduced by half (rounded down).

Frontline General (Active, Unlimited, Nontargeted): Sometimes the best leader is the one at the head of the pack. Your attack deals 2 extra damage. Using this ability disables Warrior’s Constitution that night.

Max HP: 20
Attack: 2

As the leader of the Gatewatch and protector of peace and order in the multiverse, you are attuned with WHITE mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to BLACK and RED mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with WHITE mana
-outlast Princess Zelda and Aslan
Finch, aka Paperblade:

Dear Paperblade,
You are playing under the alias Finch.
You are Princess Zelda, from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

There’s a whole buncha Zeldas in the Zelda canon, but you’re the objectively best one. Why? Not only are you a big ol’ nerd, forever driven by a craving for knowledge about the world around you, but your penchant for bravery and self-sacrificed is arguably unmatched by any other Zelda incarnation aside from maybe Shiek. Also, blue is a good color.

Your abilities are as follows:

Inventor Princess (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Cause who said princesses can’t be nerds, too? You may create each of the following items once and gift them to target player. These items cannot be given away and will disappear upon use or the holder’s death.
-Ancient Arrow: Target player takes 3 damage. This action occurs at high prio.
-Ancient Bomb: Target player takes 5 damage the following cycle. Anyone targeting the bombed player the cycle the bomb explodes takes 2 damage.
-Ancient Shield: The holder is immune to the next 5 damage they would otherwise take.
-Ancient Sword: The holder’s attack damage is increased by 2 for their next 2 attacks.

Subdue (Active, One-Shot, Targeted): Sometimes you just gotta lock yourself in a 100 year struggle with an enemy deity. Target player is fully roleblocked; additionally, both you and target player cannot target anyone other than each other with attacks for the next 3 cycles, or until one of you dies. Both of you take half damage (rounded down) from outside sources during this period.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 3

As the most knowledge-driven Zelda incarnation to date, you are attuned with BLUE mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to RED and GREEN mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with BLUE mana
-outlast Gideon Jura and Ganondorf Dragmire
Oh and I guess Paperblade's death gives us our first winner or something. Congrats to Korean Marlon Brando's #2 Buttboy (Sangmin), aka Apricity:

Dear apricity,
You are playing under the alias Korean Marlon Brando’s #2 Buttboy (Sangmin).
You are Celebi, from the Pokemon franchise.

A mythic Grass/Psychic pokemon, you are the guardian deity of Johto’s Ilex Forest, protecting the forest from all sorts of vague and nebulous threats. You’re also the star of the 4th Pokemon movie, which it has been way too long since I’ve seen and is probably worth a rewatch.

Your abilities are as follows:

Aromatherapy (Active, Limited, Targeted): A useful move indeed. Up to 3 target players regain 3 HP. You may target yourself. You may not use this ability on consecutive cycles.

Thick Foliage (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): It’s a pain in the ass. Any incoming actions aimed at target player will be delayed to the following cycle. You may not target the same player consecutively.

Let’s Do The Time Warp Again! (Active, One-Shot, Nontargeted): It doesn’t really come across in the games, but movies and lore make it clear that time manipulation is kind of your Thing. You may reset your HP value to any value it possessed within the previous 2 cycles. This action is processed at high priority.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 2

As a literal nature spirit, tasked with defending the Ilex Forest, you are attuned with GREEN mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to BLUE and BLACK mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with GREEN mana
-outlast The Narrator and Katsuki Bakugou
Results going out. Cycle 8 ends 9/14 at 7 PM CDT.

Game over.

First, the two Cycle 9 deaths.

Dominate, aka MoodyCloud:

Dear MoodyCloud,
You are playing under the alias Dominate.
You are Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell, from A Song of Ice and Fire.

Head of the ancient and powerful House Stark of Winterfell, you are a man as grim and cold as the northern lands in which your castle sits. Honorable to a fault, you’re known to be a good man once one gets past the icy exterior.

An Honorable Man (Passive): Your allies can rely on your honesty, while your enemies take advantage from it. You take double damage from attacks made by those attuned to your enemy colors (BLACK and RED) and half damage from all other attacks.

The Hand’s Blessing (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Being the hand of the king does come with some perks. Target player’s attack will deal 3 extra damage and ignore any passive possessed by the player being attacked.

Winter is Coming (Active, One-Shot, Nontargeted):[/b] Winter’s wrath is swift and unforgiving. Each players who attacks you will take damage equal to the damage they deal to you, and each player who targets you with a harmful action will be roleblocked the following night. If you would die while this ability is active, you will instead survive at 1 HP.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 3

You uphold a strict moral code, are principled to a fault, and believe in honor above all other virtues. As such, you are attuned with WHITE mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to BLACK and RED mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with WHITE mana
-outlast Pidge Gunderson and Nausicaa
Corleone, aka ItzViper482:

Dear ItzViper482,
You are playing under the alias Corleone.
You are Chandra Naalar, from Magic: the Gathering.

A planeswalker from Kaladesh, your natural magical abilities and disdain for such silly things as “rules” ran you into issues with the draconian Kaladesh government, leading to your father’s death. Planeswalker spark ignited by grief, you fled to a plane whose name I can’t actually remember rn and I’m too lazy to look up, and learned the ways of pyromancy from a pretty rad cabal of monks.

Your abilities are as follows:

Pyromaniac (Passive): Fire! Yeah! Successful attacks will cause the target to catch fire for 3 cycles. A player who is on fire has their actions processed at low priority and loses 1 HP per cycle. This damage is not preventable in any way. All fires are extinguished if you die or exit the game. Lighting a player on fire does nothing if that player is already on fire.

Ember (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Target player will catch fire for 3 cycles. See Pyromaniac for the effects of being on fire.

Like Hell I’ll Die (Passive): You’re way too stubborn to just go quietly. The first time you would be killed, you will instead survive at 1 HP. The following cycle, your actions are processed at high priority, you gain 2 attack damage, and you may attack an additional time (you may attack the same player twice).

Chandra’s Ignition (Active, One-Shot, Targeted): Sometimes you just need a Little More Fire. Target 3 players; all 3 will take 5 damage and be lit on fire for 3 cycles. Fire from Chandra’s Ignition deals 2 damage/cycle instead of 1 and overrides any previous fire affecting that player.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 3

Some people just wanna watch the world burn; you yourself prefer to actively aid it in doing so. As such, you are attuned with RED mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to WHITE and BLUE mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with RED mana
-outlast Izaya Orihara and Nausicaa
(fun fact: just found out i've been spelling Nalaar wrong the whole game. nice)

Their deaths mean that Calgary, aka Flyhn, exits the game victorious.

Dear Flyhn,
You are playing under the alias Calgary.
You are Nausicaa, from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

Princess of the titular Valley, you are a free-spirited girl with a deep love for nature - so deep, in fact, that you’ve risked your life countless times in order to venture into the toxic jungle and seek a cure for the aforementioned toxicity. You’re sort of a giant bug whisperer and are really damn good with a glider, both of which are pretty rad.

Your abilities are as follows:

Aeronaut (Passive): Take to the skies! Your attack does 2 extra damage on any cycle in which you are not targeted by an attack or a harmful role effect.

Queller of Beasts (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): You’re good at keeping shit calm. The amount of damage taken by your target is reduced by 5. Anyone attacking your target will have their attack damage reduced by one until the end of the following cycle.

Self-Preservation (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Sometimes you DO have to try to save yourself. Anyone attacking you will have their attack damage reduced by 2 until the end of the following cycle, and Aeronaut’s damage boost will trigger regardless of incoming damage or effects. You cannot use this ability on consecutive cycles, and you cannot use it and Queller of Beasts on the same cycle.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 2

As someone who values harmony with nature and all of its creatures above almost anything else, you are attuned with GREEN mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to BLUE and BLACK mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with GREEN mana
-outlast Eddard Stark and Chandra Naalar
That leaves two people alive. Unfortunately, it's mathematically impossible for one to outlive the other.

The unlucky loser is FUCK TIGER, aka zorbees:

Dear zorbees,
You are playing under the alias FUCK TIGER.
You are Atsuko Kagari, from Little Witch Academia.

Better known to your friends as Akko, you are a plucky young student at Luna Nova academy, in training to become a witch. The only issue is that you’re pretty damn stupid and thus not the most competent witch the world’s ever seen. Still, your stubbornness and determination are a boon to your quest to not suck at magic.

Your abilities are as follows:

Shiny Rod (Active, Limited, Targeted): The closest thing you have to reliable magic is a highly conditional ancient artifact. Nice. Each cycle, you may use one of the following abilities. Each may only be used once, and they must be used sequentially.
-Noctu Orfei Aude Fraetor: Target player takes 3 damage. This ability is processed at high priority.
-Phaidoari Afairynghor: Target player takes 5 damage.
-Arae Aryrha: Target player is fully roleblocked.
-Mayenab Dysheebudo: Target player regains 5 HP.
-Sybilladura Lelladybura: Your actions and the actions of one other target player are processed at high priority that night.
-Lyonne: Target player regains 3 HP and cannot lose HP that cycle.
-Phasansheer Shearylla: As many target players as desired take 5 damage. This ability cannot be roleblocked or redirected, and this damage cannot be prevented in any way.

Form of: Annoying Rodent (Active, Unlimited, Nontargeted): You do have one more piece of magic that actually works, but it’s not necessarily the greatest. All damage aimed at you that cycle will be reduced by half, rounded down. You cannot use the Shiny Rod while using this ability.

Max HP: 15
Attack: 2

Your chaotic incompetence is matched only by your pluck and sheer determination. As such, you are attuned with RED mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to WHITE and BLUE mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with RED mana
-outlast Ganondorf Dragmire and Aslan
Which makes our third and final winner Redeemer, aka Oddish.

Dear Oddish.,
You are playing under the alias Redeemer.
You are Aslan, from The Chronicles of Narnia.

You’re a giant talking lion, and also Jesus. That’s not really a metaphor so much as it is objective fact. You created the plane of Narnia and serve as its king and guardian deity, protecting all those who reside there from outside forces.

Your abilities are as follows:

Christ Allegory (Passive): The first time you would be killed, you will instead survive at 1 HP. The following cycle, you will be unable to act or be acted upon. At the conclusion of this cycle, you will return to your maximum HP, and each person who attacked you the cycle you “died” will lose 3 HP.

Commanding Presence (Active, Unlimited, Targeted): Being a figurehead, and also a fucking lion, has its perks. All abilities (not attacks) used by your target will be redirected to you. You are immune to any harmful role effects redirected in this manner. You cannot target the same player consecutively.

Max HP: 10
Attack: 4

As the creator of the plane of Narnia and the defender of all its natural beings, you are attuned with GREEN mana. To win, you must outlast all players attuned to BLUE and BLACK mana. Additionally, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:
-outlast all other players attuned with GREEN mana
-outlast Gideon Jura and Atsuko Kagari
Congratulations to apricity, Flyhn, and Oddish. for winning 4 Wayne 4 Brady!
