I'll preface this by saying that this team is untested. However, how could I test this team when there is no playerbase? So I'm posting this with three different intents: the first one is a celebration: of nothing particularly, but sometimes you just feel like celebrating. And I think that's pretty cool. The second one is showcasing a team I made. I made this team and I'd like people to look at it. The third one is a plead for help. So join the Pet Mods Server on PS! and try and find me or anyone else who is playing Meta Pokemon.
The second paragraph is going to be about the mod in general. In MetaMons, we rework Pokémon by keeping specific things about them exactly the same. For example, Oricorio-Pa'u had to be Flying-type, even if it is Fairy-type now. The changes on every Pokemon in the team are hyperlinked on each Pokémon's name. If you are trying to play it on our custom PS! client, do note that Pokemon that are not originally in Gen 9 only show their added moves, and Tera is banned. Now we roll.

Interlúdio (Beedrill) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Defog
Named after the song Chico Buarque Interlúdio, the Beedrill in MetaMons is literally bug-type Lando-T. I went with a Choice Scarf set with Defog as an interesting option to help playing against hazards. Very straightforward but the idea here was having a team with a solid defensive base and offensive support, basically just a Balance LOL but I forgot everything I knew about archetypes.

PÕE NO AR (Oricorio-Pa'u) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Fluffy
Tera Type: Psychic
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Revelation Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Roost
- U-turn
Named after the song Quer Voar, Mesprit works as a very strong defensive pivot with its Fairy/Flying typing. Iron Thorns and Copperajah pressure this a lot, but Fiery Dance ends up hitting them over time. Roost and U-Turn are just general defensive pivot moveslots, this set is not special.

Casca de Bala (Mesprit) @ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Trick
- Close Combat
- Psychic Fangs
- U-Turn
Named after the song in its nickname, Mesprit serves as our physical wallbreaker. Trick helps facing cringe walls like Alcremie or Oricorio, and the Psychic/Fighting STAB combo does a lot of damage with its Choice Band. U-Turn is U-Turn.

Lá Ele (Dachsbun) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Well-Baked Body
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Fire Blast
- Wish
- Protect
Named after the song Lá Ele, Dachsbun serves as a hard-hitting special support. It's a fast and strong Pokémon with the GOAT combo of Fire and Fairy as its STABs. Suffers against Camerupt but at least it can't be trapped by Magma Storm LOL.

CHOCOLATE (Appletun) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Strength Sap
- Apple Acid
- Earth Power
Named after the song Amor de Chocolate by Naldo Benny, Appletun is our special wall. Unfazed by Bellossom or other special sweepers, this Pokémon... Might be Broken. Strength Sap with a newly obtained Poison/Dragon typing hits super hard, especially when its stats were wrongly buffed in the client. LIVE REACTION.

Lapras @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Freeze-Dry
- Psychic Noise
- Recover
- Rapid Spin
Named after the sound of silence, Lapras is another measure against hazards. Psychic Noise and the added speed investment is to win the Lapras 1v1 (supposedly, can't go wrong with more if this is the only team in the meta).
This is the team. I won't be talking about threats or whatnot because I genuinely do not have a clue. Anyways, join the server, build your team, and let's develop this. Let's go.
