Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Hmm, I dont know if this is in regards to an incorrect ID/SID combo, but when I try searching shiny egg spreads, None are coming up =(.
I have verified my correct SID many times, and i have entered all the information correctly (I also checked to see if this true many times).
The weird thing is, I was trying to do this like barely 15 minutes ago, and all of the shiny spreads (I used the same information) came up, and now they are not! Help!
When I try to access Pandora's Box in 9.81 it gives me an error message saying "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. InvaildArgument= Value '13' is not valid for 'SelctedIndex.' Parameter name: SelectedIndex.
These are the details it gave me:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Anyone know what's going wrong?
I've deleted it off my computer and redownloaded it. Still doesn't work.

Pandora's box doesn't support korean versions yet. It's trying to set it to index 13 which doesn't exist in that form. Change it to something else in the time finder, then open up pandora.
I figured as much. I was asked to find the initial PID frame of a several seeds made using a different MAC Address, ID/SD combo than my owns. The result give me the same IV result when plugging into the RNG Reporter using my normal parameter info which I found sorta strange since I assumed that a specific yield different results for each individual game.

If I remember the process correctly, the parameters are used to form a long string of characters. Pieces of this are used to form the seed. So, theoretically, some seeds will be the same across most games as long as the seed in question uses the part of the message that doesn't often vary.
Not sure about the pieces part. If it's the whole message, this doesn't really hold up.
Need a little help concerning Roamer Abuse.
What type of IV spread should i search for a Jolly Tornadus?
The IV's shift, so SpA/SpD/Spe becomes Spe/Spa/Spd
Just examples:HP>=30, Atk>=30, Def>=30, SpA>=30, SpD>=30, Spe: None?
Here's my problem:
Last day, I was breeding things. Now when I hit my seed, advanced the PID etc for a international seed using one jap ditto and a us smeargle, the resulting smeargle was not shiny, but itls IVs,triat etc were correct. Also ditto parent was checked, and my ID/SID were correct.

Since my DS lite has met it's final days... (sort of)
I know my Acekard runs on DS mode, I get the exact Vcount and Timer0 via AR codes, but the problem is that I still don't get results on the DS parameter search. I just need to know that it's still impossible to RNG on a DSi, even if Acekard runs on DS mode.
They do not need to be level 50 to check; I use Pokemon from Victory Road and have no problem (They're usually 37-40). Your problem is elsewhere. Can you list all the info you have in your DS Parameters window?
If it's on areas where wild pokemon can be encountered (like floor in dragon spiral tower, cave floor, grass, etc) yes they do advance. However let's say you are in Lostlorn Forest and you walk in the paths, but not in the grass, then no, the PID does not advance.

Mostly true. If you walk around outside of grass, but in an area with grass, it advances by 1 per 20 steps. If you walk anywhere with 2 pokemon in the daycare, it advances 1 every 17 steps.
Thanks ToastPlusOne and iDeath. One last question. does this also apply to turning? For instance, if I run to end of a room but merely turn around (not taking a step), does the pid RNG also advance by two for the turning?

Turning in an area where you can have an encounter is +2 but does not count toward the steps that I was talking about. This does stack for everything except running for some reason.

When I say that I mean: I have parents with IVs (father and mother respectively)
31/31/31/17/31/31 and 31/30/30/31/27/27
and I'm trying to get
31/30/30/31/31 on the child.
shoud I look for a spread that has
/FE/FE/FE/ / / ? As those are popping up.
Do the blank spaces represent IVs that are going to be random? (well, in this case assured, while the one with the parent writings represent what is passed down?

Blank spaces are from the seed, MA/FE is from the parent. Seed IVs can be checked by choosing method 5 standard in the main window and looking at frame 8. Yes you have to find a frame where the right IVs are inherited from the parents and the right IVs come from the seed.
I suggest you use the shiny egg tab and enter a wrong ID/SID if you don't want it shiny. The shiny egg tab does all the work for you.
Right click in the main window and you can enter the parent/seed IVs to make RNG reporter display the characteristics (useful for finding your starting frame). Remember that you need to check your seed IVs via method 5 standard and frame 8.
