I just downloaded E-On timer so I can try this instead of pikatimer this gen. Just wanted to know what value goes in the calibration field? As I was assuming there was no need for calibration this gen...?

Not that there's no need exactly, but it's done by trying to hit a seed instead of the old way. If you're on a DS/DSlite, use -95 to start. If you're on some form of DSi, use -45 to start.
Ok thanks, I'm on a DS Lite so I guess I keep the default setting for that. Found a seed I want that has a target frame 7 so I guess I need to take 4 pokémon in my party when I go to battle N/ catch Resh.
Just need to figure out which nature. Timid or Hasty. I'm assuming Reshiram isn't going to survive a decent Earthquake or Rockslide anyway even with higher defense and as I'm planning to use Nitro Charge I'm thinking Hasty is the way to go.
I found a seed that gives flawless everything except 28 in defense which I think should be fine for Hasty Reshiram. It has HP Dragon which is obviously not very good but I don't think Reshiram needs Hidden Power anyway, I plan to run Nitro Charge, Blue Fire, Draco Meteor and either Claw Sharpen or Outrage.
For the record, that's how I did it =PYeah.. catch it and see what it's IVs are. Search for the delay you hit, then update the timer with that number. That's all there is to calibration in this gen. (or really for last gen, but no one wanted to do it that way)
It would help if you posted info like IVs you were expecting, IVs you got, what seed, frame, time and delay you're going for, etc. Also the time you turn on the game and the time you start the C-Gear.
Which is one of the requirements when asking for help here.

I'm sorry, that was not a good question, indeed. Here's my situation now:
I'm about to capture a Timid Reshiram with 31/26/30/31/31/31 in a Master Ball. I've got 3 Pokémon in my party, so if I take 128 steps, my frame will advance by 3, which will lead me to the frame that this spread is on, that's frame 6.
I just did a test run, and I got a Timid Reshiram, but the IV's were wrong. I've put them into the RNG Reporter, and it showed me I was 84 frames too high, so I made an update in my Pikatimer.
The values I'm using in PikaTimer are:
Calibrated Delay: 1300 Wanted Delay: 3381 Calibrated Second: 24 Wanted Second: 0.
Date and time: March 15th, 2011 at 03:29:00
Seed: 3b75f4ef
After the test run, I made an update in my PikaTimer, and tried again. What I got is this:
Reshiram - #643 (Adamant): 17 / 9 / 20 - 21 / 6 / 13 / 19
I cannot find this IV spread in a +/- 200 delay range. What am I doing wrong?
I guess I listed all the info you guys need to help me out.
Aren't these delays?

Like the generation IV games, do you only hit even/odd delays depending on your year, and if so what can be done to rectify this? I ask because I've been consistently hitting +1/-1 of my delay for the past three tries now.

Actually I just hit an even delay +2 off where I need to be, so I guess my timing is just atrocious lol. Please Mr. Zekrom sir, stop being difficult =(I always have a GBA game in, doesn't seem to help any. So it's stuck in an even and odd state. Fun, eh? xD!
By "Start" do you mean...Hitting your C-Gear seed:
Obtain your C-Gear seed from RNG Reporter. Press Seed to Time and find a time to hit for your C-Gear seed with your given MAC Address.
Start a two stage delay timer to hit your delay and time.
Start the game at the time that will give you the correct seconds\delay when the timer ends.
When the game asks you to turn on the C-Gear right at the Continue screen, do NOT say yes. Say no and proceed into the game.
Click the C-Gear power button. You will see a Yes\No prompt.
Hitting the game icon at the DS menu and/or soft resetting.By "Start" do you mean...
- Hitting the game icon at the DS Menu?
- Pressing Start at the title screen?
- Hitting continue at the game menu?
Does soft resetting also count as "(re)starting the game?"
Don't do any frame advancements until you have correctly calibrated. Just try to hit your seed, then immediately battle him and check his IVs. Once you get close to your seed, then you can do your frame advancements after attempting to hit your seed. This is so you can use the "Search IVs" function in Seed to Time. If you advance your frame, you won't be able to use that feature.I cannot find this IV spread in a +/- 200 delay range. What am I doing wrong?

I have a DSlite, so what do you mean by a -95 start? Does this need to be inputted somewhere when i use the pika timer?

The reason I'm not using it is because I seem to get more results with PIDRNG. Also I've been getting different XOR, so I'm using some different version of it. (2.0)No. C-Gear seeds only change the IVRNG. Non C-Gear seeds are what determine the value of the PIDRNG, but don't ask about those yet.
And you're supposed to be beta testing RNG Reporter, not playing with the programs RNG Reporter are replacing.

Thanks. I just want to Re-RNG abuse two Pokemon for nicknaming purposes.
Pikatimer doesn't have this direct option.
You're off by 225 - 275. These values give an overall calibration of 140. You need to be around -95. If you insist on using this old way, your calibrated delay should be ~1535.
You mean using PikaTimer?
