5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

That's pretty stupid. I got my delay twice with a calibration of -49, so I really don't understand why I'm this far off now.. Well I might I just give up 5th gen abuse, this is the 6th day already, and I still haven't got it

Well, what timer are you using and what do you have it set to?
Have you changed the wanted delay since you started abusing?

I'm using EonTimer, Target delay is 7401 and I haven't changed that. Second is 0 which I haven't changed either. But the weird thing is, on the first day I tried for Cobalion, I got the right delay, but the wrong nature. That goes too for yesterday, but now I'm just too far off.

Does it matter how fast I go to my bag when I turned the C-Gear on or something? I really don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Well, I'm using Pikatimer. I am wanting to hit a delay of 4208 but have Pikatimer's Wanted delay set as 4063. xD! Might want to play with the wanted delay to see if it'll get you close to your real wanted delay.

No, just matters when you turn on your C-Gear.

Well I think I have to recalibrate now, I just caught it without any advancements to make sure I could see at which delay I landed, and I got 7370! In stead of 7401 >_<

I don't understand what you mean by "recalibrate?"
Why would you even need to calibrate at all? I haven't at all since the start of 5th Gen. I have my Pikatimer's Calibrated Delay set to 488 which is impossible to get in 5th gen.

Well I guess adjusting the calibration or wanted delay will get you to the same point.

Got a new problem now! I've hit 7410, which is much closer then the previous delay, but now I'm 1 second too early :S

I was wondering, as soon as I pressed yes, when the game is asking me if I want to turn on, then the seed it set, right? I mean right after I pressed yes? Or do I have to tap after I pressed yes to make the next screen dissappear.

For some reason I'm way outside my delay range (even +/-9999 delay, +/- 9 seconds doesn't find it) whenever I use my AR DSi to RNG. I know I asked about that before, but could someone give me a screenshot (or better yet, a quick video) on when/how to hit the start button to RNG with the AR DSi in? Thanks =)

That's a good question I was asking to myself lately. I suppose you don't need to double-tap, but you have to anyway if you want to regain control of your character ASAP.

at the screen where you load the game with your codes.double click on the start tab at the bottom right hand corner of your touch screen to load the game,a yes/no pop up will appear, move over on the yes option with your D-pad and leave it on the yes option, untill your first timer runs out to press A to start your game then.

I was having the same problem. Maybe you can delete useless game codes like Kim Possible and crap so the AR DSi can load faster giving you a good setup for starting.

what you're suggesting will have literally zero effect on the issue. starting from an AR is different from soft-resetting on a normal game. you need to start at the prompt to boot the game and even then give yourself a few extra seconds.

Help. :(

Got the EonTimer, it worked superb for capturing Reshiram, and for Cobalion, I got the right delay twice, with a wrong nature, so it can't be the timer.

I replied via VM, but to restate, I'm guessing that you hit a seed that occurred on the previous second since calibration doesn't affect the second you hit at all.

Edit: Just confirmed here that if you increase the minute by 1, the second goes down by 1. Just like in 4th gen. This mean you're probably hitting a minute late.

I'm suddenly having the same problem. I have come within -1/+1 of my delay on multiple occasions, took a break came back to try again and now i'm -1 second for no reason.

Hmm... I can't think of anything except that maybe you didn't synch your DS clock with Eon Timer correctly. That used to happen to me in Gen. IV, so I just made sure I pressed A on my DS at the same time I clicked "Start" on Eon Timer. Hope I helped :]

What I did was, picking a time in the 'Seed to Time' section, that matched the real date of today. And since I'm trying for 6 days already, I got 6 different times. Now I'm searching for delays in a range of +/- 999, but a second range of 0. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to do it right now. ;p

I'm using an AR, so maybe the starting delay between me pressing start on the AR and the game loading up is throwing a wrench in it. Should I try to compensate for that and if so how would I? (using Eontimer)

I'm again having real difficulty calibrating.
I thought maybe my IVs were off, So I saved the game and went to the battle Subway trying to see what the stats were at a higher level, I entered the now more accurate IVs and still it isn't working.
I'm using a normal, not r4 English white, and from what I've been told you can RNG on English games, you just have to use the C-Gear method.

just started to RNG this gen and i see that in DS paramanters it asks you to put in your DS type. The only two options are DS lite and custom. Im using a Dsi so what should i set it to?

That shouldn't be the problem, since I RNGd my Zekrom using an AR and hit my delay pretty easily (It's just that the frame was 34 so it took me a while :P). Just make sure you start the game on the AR screen when the first timer ends, and press "Yes" to turn on the C-Gear (In-Game) at the end of the second timer. And try synching your DS and Eon Timer perfectly. I'm not sure what else can be the problem.

... Are you calibrating, or trying to find your Parameters? You posted a picture of trying to find parameters, so. I can't help you with Parameters yet, because those are for Non C-Gear abuse, and we aren't allowed to discuss that until the release until the new RNG reporter comes out.

Don't worry about parameters until the next RNG Reporter is released (Unless you're using a Japanese game). If you're using a Jap. game, I can't help you, since I'm not familiar with Non C-Gear abuse.

Using an AR with Eontimer is do-able, as I am proof, but it can cause errors, delay errors.
I don't know if the delay in BW are just odd or even or a mix but if you use a AR, you will hit a mix of delays.

But to your question, yes you will have to compensate SR by pressing A at a certain time.

What I mean
As you know, you cannot SR an AR and still have the code function, so you cannot SR, instead you will have to experiment with pressing A to exit the AR and load the game at a certain time to compensate for SR.

My advice, you should press A ~1.5(absolute minimum)-2.5
I usually "press start the game with code" around 2.0 and I am usually -+5 of delay, but usually +-1.

You will need to be patient doing this

Edit:

To add with johto (Who ninja's me X.X) just said, you can exit the AR when the 1st timer hit zero, but I pretty sure you be off by some amount, should be lower.

If you do it the way I do, you should be either a little high or low

I mean finding my parameters, so I don't have to find my parameters for CGEAR?
But when I try to search it makes me type in my parameters.
