Hey guys!
Here is my first RMT, I did play a little 5th gen and try to create a decent team on the game to play with friends and such.
Team at a glance:
Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
I like tu use T-tar as a powerful trapper, and SR user. I tried different EV spreads with this one, Spd to survive a M-Gengar focus blast, but then he lacks power in my opinion against other mons, I'm not really sure... Anyway, Edge quake is nice, it counters Talonflame good and stays bulky enough to make some damage.
Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
My main counter to Talonflame, Rotom is very versatile in the team. Wow helps A LOT against a lot of mons who like to switch in, Volt switch is always good to have, Hydro pump for obvious stab and Rest to recover, as I can only have one lefties.
Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Brave bird
- Bulk up
- Flare Blitz
- Roost
This thing is a beast. Even without setup, he OHKO Breloom and Blaziken with priority Brave bird, and counter ferrothorn, Scizor or Forretress. I usually use him as a late game sweeper, or on Wow. With one Bulk up he makes holes in frail teams.
Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Rock Slide
- Swords Dance
With Talonflame, I needed a rapid spinner, and excadrill is a pretty good one. With the balloon, he counters toxic stall Gliscor, Rotom and prevents Gengar from switching in. He even OHKO Talonflame when they expect EQ. Really like this one, even if he's frail and lacks a little bit in speed.
Trevenant @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef
Careful Nature
- Shadow Claw
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp
I love this one. So annoying. When I see breloom on the opposite team I smile. He can take a +2 bullet seed, and a plant type is nice to prevent Smeagle from spore someone. He has a lot of utility, Wow on the switch is always nice too. I have to be careful about toxic tho.
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Bomb
- Energy Ball
This guy is the last one I putted on the team, I needed some special damage, and a way to counter M-Gengar, but I don't know, he doesn't seem to do the job well. Frail, and lack damage without Life orb, but I really don't know what to put here.
Maybe the team as a whole is not balanced, and I have mild success, depending on what the opponent have. Greninja can be a problem, Mega gengar too, I just don't know what to do to balance this mess!
