Pangoro [Priory] (F)

Stage: ★★★☆☆

Type: Fighting / Dark

Abilities: Iron Fist / Mold Breaker / Scrappy (Unlocked)
  • The Base Attack Power of this Pokemon's moves tagged as #Punch is increased by one (1).
  • Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables defensive Abilities the opponent has. (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, etc.) Abilities affected by Mold Breaker are tagged as #Molded. Attacks are still redirected by Lightningrod/Storm Drain, but damage is dealt normally. Status-immunity abilities such as Limber will remove their relevant status at the start of the victim's next action.
  • This Pokemon's Normal and Fighting attacks carry a special signature that can damage Ghosts.

Roserade [Ripple] (F)

Stage: ★★★☆☆

Type: Grass / Poison

Abilities: Natural Cure / Poison Point / Technician (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's body has the ability to heal itself of status afflictions over time, it goes into effect six (6) actions after being inflicted with a status. In switch battles, this Pokemon heals all status effects when switched out.
  • By default, this Pokemon's spikes/quills/thorns are coated in poison, and there is a 30% chance of poisoning any foe that uses a contact attack on this Pokemon. When toggled, this Pokemon's natural toxins are more potent. As a result, all of this Pokemon's attacks that inflict regular poison will inflict Toxic poison instead (with the same chance of effect). If Poison Point is toggled and Poison Touch is on its default effect, the Pokemon's contact attacks will inflict Toxic Poison.
  • This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their one-hit or two-hit attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power on each hit multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, Double Hit to from 4 per hit to 6 per hit etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack that has its BAP increased by Technician is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects. Technician only applies to combos in the rare case that an initial hit will have 6 or less BAP.

Stage: ★★★☆☆

Type: Normal / Flying

Abilities: Keen Eye / Sheer Force / Defiant (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon has extremely good vision. Its accuracy cannot be lowered, its attacks ignore opposing Evasion boosts, and it is immune to Intimidate.
  • By default this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). The Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by one (1), but they will never have their usual secondary effect.
  • The Pokemon has a deep sense of honor, and whenever one of its stats are decreased by an opponent's Attack or Ability, its Attack increases by two (2) stages.

Sir Olberic Eisenberg (Berg for short) is a Galar native who decided to accompany us on his quest for revenge against some dark forces. Not sure I like the sound of that, because I've seen enough cosmic destroyers and dimensional shifts for my entire life, but several members of the group instantly agreed to help him so... there we are.
Honestly, he's a good recruit: with so many team members focused on pelting at the opponent, having someone take the front lines and hold them is a key component for battles. And he's good at it, too! Swinging his lance/sword/leek/thing almost seems natural to him, and that shield is pretty effective to block ranged attacks too.
He's also surprisingly popular with the ladies, though I don't think he knows that (or care), to their dismay.

So Aqua had no problem slipping between dimensions right? She could have found us right away right? Then why didn't she?
She passed out after drinking too much of the local alcohol. That she stole, of course. To make matters worse, she never learned her lesson. Or any lesson, at any rate.
Ugh, at least she's even more resilient than before, which leaves more time for her to ramble or whine or both at the same time.
Actually, it's a good thing Weak Armor nerfs her defenses.

Klavier is battling for one thing, and one thing only: to please the audience. Whipping out the deafening sound moves is his way to embrace the stage, and if it leads to a KO he's going to be even more pumped. If you want his music gone, you'll have to knock him out cold, because he's not letting go of the guitar willingly.
Without much surprise, he's not a huge fan of Pokémon with Soundproof.
Off the stage- I mean arena, he's surprisingly chill and level-headed, though he has a tendency to start singing and playing at the most random times...

Welcome to another battle! This time between TMan87 and Mowtom! Honestly, I can’t think of anything interesting to say, so let’s just say as little as possible to compensate!
On Mowtom’s Team, we have... a Kung Fu Panda, a bunch of roses, a haunted sword, and a bird!
On TMan’s Team, we have... a duck who is a knight, an ancient crustacean, a lizard who is a rock star, and a fiery monkey!
Which of them would win? The betting corner is at the bottom left corner! No not there,
there! Yes, that’s the one! Now, who shall go first?

This round went surprisingly better than TMan expected, both hitting Fire Spin and getting Rock Blast, which hit 5 times, dealing a lot of damage. However, Mowtom didn’t go without a bit of luck on her side as well, snagging a crit on her Sky Attack. Will TMan choose to stay in? Or will he follow his plan and switch out? Find out... next round!

"You seem to have forgotten both my Life Orb and my opponent's Grip Claw. My attacks should do a bit more damage and come with recoil, and Fire Spin should have an extra 4 BAP and perfect accuracy. Also, hits for Rock Blast are calculated by rolling a d6, with 1-2 meaning two hits, 3-4 meaning three hits, 5 meaning four hits, and 6 meaning five hits, and each hit of a Rock Blast has its own critical hit chance."

Mhm, did that before the comment.

Interesting, recall only one crit Chance. Memory can be creative.

Hrm... yep! We’re good! Any other changes? Otherwise you can order!

Thanks for pointing that out Mowtom!

Any other changes will be reflected below \/

Edit: ok it should be ok now. :)

"The Fire Spin still does only 2 damage per action. The attack itself has 8 BAP rather than 4. Each hit of a Rock Blast has 3 BAP, so the correct calc there should be (3*2+1)*1.5 which results in 11 damage. I'm getting a final HP total of 64 for me."

Braviary runs, hoping to get away from the prehistoric crustacean, whose attempts to pin the bird down with shots of azure light fail. The prehistoric creature screams “Lama sabacthani?!” (which is apparently a thing in the age of the dinosaurs) as TMan coldly watches it die to this rose, using it to tactically remove Roserade’s item before dying a horrible death to a bunch of leaves and vines. How undignified. With a straight and simple KO, we can expect TMan to send in Infernape again.

Order of operations:
TMan87 sends in (equips) and orders.
Mowtom orders (maybe switches).

"With Technician, Magical Leaf and Mega Drain should each have 9 BAP and cost 1 additional EN. When you fix the calcs please make sure to note that the healing from the final Mega Drain is based on how much damage the attack actually does. Since it lands a KO this is the remaining HP, not the amount calculated."

"The move was Peck, not Pluck. Also Poison resists Bug so the First Impression should be neutral. Regardless, back to Berate!"
"You're just as flimsy as the other one was!"
